I lived in Muscat for 4 years from 2001 - 2004. It was the best 4 years of my life. Muscat is absolutely beautiful and such a dream.
Oh you missed some natural swimming pool in Muscat and other out of Muscat 👀 , I'm Omani and still I can't go to all beautiful places in Oman. Hope you come back ( everyone is most welcome ❤️💖❤️💖❤️ )

Amazing.. Stunning..👍👌.. One of the cleanest and safest city in the world.. Oman was a poor country among arabs before 1970.. Eversince His Majesty Sultan Qaboos took over, country transformed phenomenally in less than 20 years..Now it is modern and still rich in culture, heritage, ..
Yes it’s absolutly unique how Oman manages to be modern but yet so traditional. And how the sultan made it such a good place for its citizens.
I’ve been to Oman as well. Definitely the most beautiful country I have ever seen with amazing and caring people. Would go back anytime

Lea, what a beautiful city Muscat is, I normally would shy away from big city's but with all those low rise white buildings and amazing architecture to behold I could have happily spent a couple of days myself. I think you also found a gem with your tour guide showing you the sights, so even though no motorcycles were involved in the making of this video I really enjoyed it. Thank you.

I love seeing your wonderful videos. Every one gets better than the last. In some ways it makes me sad to see how much new building has gone up since my days there , however that is the modern world. Still the Omani people are so kind and the deserts and Jebel are so wild ,free and unspoilt. By the way, as you sail into Bandar Khiran the second little bay on the southern entrance is called Bonking Beach. Does your fastidious research reveal who the amorous couple may have been? Even in 1994 we never knew. Please tell us.

Yes, I guess there changed a lot in muscat too since you were there - but even for that I think they did good with not having crazy Highrisers and keeping the houses small and mostly in the typical white color. To me the growth felt kind of genuine - and not initiated by a real estate mogul who just took over everything.
