So they took a young woman's scholarship away and all her achievements that could help her with her higher education and her future simply because they didn't like her dancing. That makes my blood boil.

The school should be made to pay for the Scholarship. That girl needs to talk to an attorney immediately!! Public schools have a very small statute of limitations, so she needs to act now.
The legal fees would probably cost more than the scholarship. There is also the problem that just because you apply for a scholarship doesn't mean it will be awarded.

I’m more concerned that schools have the power to just revoke scholarships like that. It’s terrifying to thing that at any moment my school can just say “nope” and remove my applications for a scholarship. Worst part is that she’ll either have to take a gap year or pay for college out of pocket. At lot of colleges are very careful when it comes to PR so awarding a scholarship to a girl who’s drama has been covered nationally even if the world is on her side might be difficult.
