Great video ! I’ve been taking notes on your deck builds and have ran it through force travel to get a better feel for it. I try to not to go 1 for 1 exact copies just to be a little more original but sometimes it’s just that good😂

I've been running this deck since release. I originally ran ECL with Rukh but swapped for a 30 health base and sideboarded Rukh for Traitorous. It's been working really well for me, but facing Emperor was bad.
I've had more success with ECL, but it also just depends on the matchup as you say.
Love this vid! If you were altering this to a Tarkin Green/Blue, what would you greens would you swap out for blues?
I would take out things like Admiral Piett, perhaps trim some cellblock gaurds, and put in things like Inferno Four, Avenger, and Death Trooper. Also for the removal suite you can run things like Power of the Dark Side and Takedown instead of Maximum Firepower.
@@VeiledShotSWU these are great. Big fan of Inferno Four. The imperials in Blue are so good. Trying to see how I can leverage it with Tarkin. Even if its not “meta”, its a lot of fun.
If you want more presence in space, why not use the 6 cost star destroyer. Its very flexible. Theres also the 5 cost 4/4 neutral ship but tha ones not imperial or green.
Resupply does not let you tarkin on a two drop on turn 2. It comes into resource area exhausted.

I played against this deck today (basically) with a red and green Leia deck. I did well in the early and middle game but his deck ended it quickly after I couldn't keep up with his ramp anymore. Overwhelming Barrage and Legion were too much for me. They probably had 12 resources by the end. Sigh. The decks we played weren't one for one to the videos you made of the decks but the same theme and idea with the cards we had available.
Interesting! Leia definitely gets outpaced later on and unless you can get one of the reach spells like K2 or For a Cause you won't get through their 12/12s.
What about General Tagge to pop even more xp tokens?
The problem with Tagge is that he requires troopers and there aren't enough troopers to really get a lot of value.

Boba is just gonna tap down or bounce your bigger stuff.
If boba outpaces the deck, that's one thing. But, eventually, theres a point where everything coming down has sentinel or ambush. All it takes is for one to stick and follow up with a removal event to stabilize.
Most of the bigger stuff has immediate impact, Vader comes down and kills something + gets you something, Devastator kills something, Reinforcement walker heals you, if you happen to have Piett, everything that comes down post 6 has ambush so that kills any sort of tempo play they're going for.

Stands for Energy Conversion Lab or simply the base we used :)
Mono means single. In MTG (or TCG in general) mono refers to a deck with only one color, which does not apply in SWU since there will always be another color (unless FFG releases single color leader). So referring to a SWU deck as mono doesn't really make sense. Double Green Tarkin or Tarkin ECL is more appropriate. 😊
well youre only playing green so id say it still makes sense
Referring to color in SWU means red, green, blue or yellow. Hero and villain aspects are never referred to as colors.
