CZcams protects users’ copyright, but what if you really want to include someone else’s content in your video?
Among CZcamsrs, there is some widespread misunderstanding about the legal use of other users’ content. But the reality is that the copyright owner can still claim rights over your video, even if you’ve stated you are not the author of some parts of the video, given credit to the owner of the copyrighted work, switched off the monetization of the video, purchased the content on iTunes, CD, or DVD, or captured the content yourself from TV, radio, or a movie.
The simplest way to get permission to use copyrighted content is to reach out to the creator via message and ask them for permission to use their material. If you have no way to contact the copyright owner, review CZcams’s fair use guidelines carefully:
➤ Use only very small segments of the original video (15 seconds, for example)
➤ Make sure your work is in some way transformative (translation, review, etc)
➤ If the segment of video you want to use contains commonly known facts, you can use it
➤ The copyright owner should not lose money because of your video
The Creative Commons license, the second type of license CZcams supports, lets other creators use part or all of any materials uploaded under the terms of this type of license.
Check out the license used by the video you need. You’ve seen the Creative Commons note? You can use the contents of this type of video freely! You should note the title or description, the copyright owner’s name or nickname, information about any changes you’ve made to the original content, and insert a link to the text of the Creative Commons license into your video. If you are not able to include each point in your title or description, you can just add a link to the original video or any source that contains the required information.

As long as the CZcamsr is not the one getting the proceeds from the advertisement on their reaction videos one would think that the musicians/bands would be happy for the free exposure.....
Case in point....The last 5 album purchases I have made were the direct result of watching reaction videos on CZcams. Blocking them may not be the best idea.....
Perhaps sending the proceeds from reaction videos to the musicians may be a far better arrangement for all concerned then just blocking your users.... YOU HEAR THAT CZcams?
Give both the CZcams user and the copyright owners a button to allow this option.... The CZcamsr gets to promote their channel and the music/bands they love without fear, their subscribers get their entertainment without interruption and find new music, the musicians/bands/copyright owners still make money with their product. How could this not be a good thing?

I need some advice which I am still not sure about, if I take a video that is freely available and add 2 subtitles onto it would I still be allowed to be monetized? At the moment, I use copyright free backgrounds, and with the audio-only I add the subtitles, but this can be a little boring for the viewers, I just don't want to risk being demonetized seeing I use the money earnt to improve my content.

A lot of channels don't get monetized when they reach the YPP requirements because of reused content. Then how channels like Quantum Tech HD & Yt Crash that rack up millions of monthly views get away with it? - Faceless and no voice-over, just copyright free music over it. They do link to the original creators in the description, including the owner's Instagram/Facebook & TikTok links. Is this a reason why CZcams allows this type of content? Because they see it as perhaps Promotional/Advertisement content? Or is it Quantum Tech gave percentage/payout to the content owner? If Quantum Tech get a fair use approval from the content Owner (without getting copyright strike from CZcams), what is the step to get it. I would be appreciate if Movavi Vlog could answer my curiosity on this thing. Thanks a Million in advance
