Domenic "Mick" Gatto (born 6 August 1955) is a professional mediator within the Victorian building industry; and a debt collector. Gatto was named as a standover man during the Royal Commission into the Building and Construction Industry. The son of two Italian immigrants from Calabria, Gatto was raised in Melbourne and commenced working in the fruit and vegetable industry.[ A former boxer, Gatto was involved in Melbourne's illegal gambling scene in the 1980s and 1990s. In 2004 Gatto was given a ten-year gaming ban, subsequently increased to a lifetime ban.
Sam Newman' is a former Australian rules footballer and television personality. Today is more known for his wit, sarcasm, and not afraid to voice his opinion on life. His popular podcast "You Cannot Be Serious" has more than 11 million downloads. He played for the Geelong Football Club in the AFL from 1964 to 1980. He was known for his versatility on the field, playing in various positions including ruck-man, forward and defender, and has interviewed countless 'people of interest' from around the world on various media platforms.

Thanks so much for doing this interview with Mick.
As someone who has known Mick literally all my life I can honestly say that he's one of a very small number of people who are completely selfless, extremely generous with people who are in need, who's done so much for charity & who has always treated everyone equally.
He has such a kind heart & incredible nature & anyone who tries to tarnish his reputation is nothing but scum. Most people who speak about him have never even met him. It's an absolute privilege to be able to call him a friend & he is very much loved by all who know him.
Anyone else who knows him would definitely vouch for that.

Mick you are a gentlemen and a fantastic speaker why don't you start a podcast or seminars for some of the younger kids to play as a role model you have so much wisdom I've never met you Mick but feel that you would be a genuine friend to have.
