Great video and message. I never really understood how important our email lists are, but I certainly do now. Great reminder to do more to grow mine. Love your channel!
Thank you! It's genuinely one of the most important things we can do as business owners and creators. Good luck growing your list, thank you for watching! - C
Well done for presenting another approach to your account getting suspended. This happened to me a while back on LinkedIn and I didn't know why. A couple of emails and the problem was sorted! It pays to think rationally rather than panicking, for sure. Thanks for the wisdom.
Thanks so much Donavan! Glad you were able to get your LinkedIn profile back, it's definitely a reminder though that diversification of platforms is key! Appreciate you always. - T
Thank you so much for this video. After having a bad experience with a previous IG account, I decided to start over with a new account. The older was reading as spam by IG for some reason. But after starting over, I always felt on the edge, what if something may happen again with account. So thanks to this video, I decided to start posting on multiple platforms and I definitely feel much better about it. Thank you again, so glad I found your channel, very informative!
Really love to hear that! Posting in multiple locations is great, and of course, if you're able to get an email list started, that'll truly benefit you in future - C
Hey! Someone bought me fake 1000 followers. Now i don’t get new likes from random people. Should i remove the fake followers manually? How many per hour/day? How long will i be shadow banned? Should i not keep posting? Should i open a new account? Love your content!! Greetings from Argentina
Hey Martin! Oh no, that's not great. But it's fixable. You can definitely remove all of the fake followers, and keep it to ~60 per hour to be safe. 100 max but be cautious. I wouldn't call it "shadow banned" - essentially when the algorithm sends your content out, a lot of your followers don't engage which tells it that your content isn't engaging and then stops serving it to people. Once you've removed the fake accounts and real followers start engaging again, it'll help push you back up in the algo. No need to start fresh just yet - give this a try over a few months and see how you go! Appreciate the kind words! - C
@@Highseasonco thanks for the high quality answer. Just started my ig account 1 month ago, thats why i thought of starting it again. I dont know how much this fake followers can affect the algo. Now im 10 times a better subrcriber for you both than before. Thanks again!!
Sorry to hear that you've been struggling to get your account back. Do you know what caused the issue? Also - we're hoping to show that it doesn't have to be as difficult as it may appear to diversify! - T
@Highseasonco they claim I posted offensive or misleading content when my brand is literally about manifesting and supporting mental health. They claim they will look into it but give me the run around and I'm back reporting from the beginning again bc they can't give me a clear reason.
Thought it was the message I started getting: from spam accounts claiming I violated something and to click the link to make sure my account doesn’t get suspended 😳
great info! I've started a new online buisness via an ecommerce website, won't be selling directly off of Instagram but need to create a following for local (provincial) reach. For a new account, would you recommend creating a creator account or business account to gain a following, due to the newest change?
Hi! There's no difference with Business or Creator accounts as far as reach is concerned with the new changes - it only affects recycled content. Go with whatever makes the most sense for your needs - C
Awesome video! I have a question. Under violations and Partner Monetization Policies, two current policy violations show for 'Established Presence.' What does that mean and how do I fix it? Thanks!
Thank you! OK here's an explanation: "Creators, publishers and third-party providers must have an authentic, established presence on Facebook. To be eligible for all monetisation features, this means having an established presence for at least 30 days. To gain access to in-stream ads, this also includes maintaining a sufficient follower base, indicated by your Facebook followers and a minimum number of videos." facebook.com/business/help/169845596919485?id=2520940424820218 - C
@@Highseasonco Thanks for the reply. I don't have a Facebook account, just Instagram. Would your Facebook explanation still apply to IG even though I don't have an account on Facebook?
@@robertcummings5266 Gotcha. I would imagine so, I just googled and the FB link is what came up with that wording. I tried again with IG in the search and found this: help.instagram.com/2635536099905516. Not sure if that's helpful but it sounds like you don't meet the requirements for monetization - was that the issue?
@@Highseasonco You're awesome...thank you! I saw that info but was kinda confused by it. My concern was if my videos would not be pushed because of the violation. I'm not too concerned about the monetization from them at the moment. My followers and view counts are low, so I can understand that one. Thanks again for your help.
@@robertcummings5266 Understood! The "Established Presence" part is confusing to me, as that's only about monetization for newer accounts so I'm not sure why it would say that if it wasn't about monetization. If there's no violation about something you've done wrong, there should be no restriction in your reach - C

Instagram is trash. I've been fighting with meta about my account for a year. It's true diversifying is key but another full time job 😢

My instagram doesn’t let me do anything when it comes to boot posts and ads it says ‘promotions are disabled’
Try going to: facebook.com/accountquality. That should let you know what the issues are and how to fix it - C
