    Fun fact: I was at the Mayones booth at NAMM, and Dino came over and started pointing out the Duvell to me and told me to look at the contours and carves on the back, etc.
    HE came up to ME and started yapping about it. He was just so psyched about the damn guitar and had to talk to someone about it. I'm nobody, so he had no reason to do so otherwise.
    Dino is just a cool fucking dude.

      @@hakancarlsson2881 Exactly. Also because everything else is simple plain wood it creates the balance and contains the color explosion. I like acid metal best, both structure and intensity from metal and wild emotional improvisation, needing a lot of practice to get right. Learning to play and know the song is just the start at getting it going.. On their best nights truly great bands wlll blow away even great originals. See Led Zep's 'Dazed and Confused', Slayers' 'Still Reigning' with extras, The Who's 'Live at Leeds', Hendrix's 'Machine Gun', 'Dark Star' and the rest from 'Live Dead' etc. Psychedelia can be the worst as well as the best. @mnemic9564 Před 4 lety

      @@Divine_Serpent_Geh It's so solid. So good. But, that being said, it's not their best work. The production was questionable, heavyness toned down, vocals occasionally sub par, and some tracks seemed like filler. The album at it's best is futuristic blade runner-esque bliss, filled with mechanical leads and rythms, all memorable, and soaring choruses. At it's worst, it's an obscure, filler and less heavy failure.
      Unlike it's previous 2 masterpieces, Digimortal is much less heavy, deep, or substancial.

    • @Divine_Serpent_Geh
      @Divine_Serpent_Geh Před 4 lety

      Demanufacture Yup. It’s definitely not as heavy as something like “Soul of the Machine”, or even “Obsolete” but there are good songs on there. “Digimortal” and “Damaged” are pretty fucking heavy.
      I really like the closing track “Memory Imprint (Never End)”. I’d go as far as saying it’s ambient, and it gives the album a sort of “fading away” feel.
