Meanwhile I'm here with ADHD Hyper Focusing on how to control Hyper Focusing so I can pull my life together.
Not sure if that's a good thing or a Bad thing.
Dassa bad thing bro I did it and it messes u up
imo it depends on if you're trying out what you're learning. I think as long as you're trying new things, seeing what works, and refining what works you're doing a really good job.
I think the fact that you're here and acknowledge that you need to manage your ADHD means you're doing a good thing. Some people can't even acknowledge that they need help. Just start trying one thing at a time and you'll really be doing a good thing.
It's a blurse.
It gives insanely strong attention to detail which is a blessing, but the difficulty to escape hyperfocus or change it to something else is the curse.
I think there's a danger of feeling like your survival depends on job performance because you can get promoted to the point of burn out and your personal life becomes a revolving mes and the hobbies that used to give life have that crucial self care affirming periods of mental flow it can look like depression to a psychiatrist leading to further setbacks. That's where I'm at. Finally realized getting treatment wasn't cheating at 42 and seeking treatment lead to a misdiagnosis and more time having to tolerate this uncomfortable situation. But one thing undiagnosed adhd has toght me is resilience. Thanks for the insightful video
Sometime very little get done in that 25 pomodoro minute and also its very difficult to stay focus those 25 min
Before you start a task try and focus on single object, focus on one visual point and concentrate on that point for 60 seconds before you start your task, it really helps
That's some mild hyperfocus of a timer is going to bring me out of it. I can't even force myself to set said timer, or mental capacity to gauge what I should be doing
1. ADHDs can figure out mundane tasks by getting into hyperfocus mode
2. Danger is hyperfocus is unregulated and takes you away from work
3. Attention Regulation tips help
4. Setup Alerts on your Phone / Design cues into your lifestyle
5. Use Pomodoro. Don’t try to work outside ideal time durations, as you lose your ability to absorb
Helpful stuff!
Loveee hyfocus! Just want turn it on easier?!?! Help!!
Hi Daddy!!
