Absolutely agreed !!! I've done a full cover of this masterpiece, you can see it on my channel, as well as a LOT of Emperor and Ihsahn covers (+ some other metal covers)!
@@seaman_fil2989 I won't say weak but deftly not a classic. In some ways Prometheus was a far ahead from his time record, I can listen lots of elements that opteth also uses with mastery in records like Blackwaterpark or Deliverance. But the album as a whole lakes that magic of previous records. I prefer to have the Legacy of emperor as it is now rather than having another irrelevant record attached to their name.
Ihsahn said multiples times that there will never be a new Emperor album just to please the fans, and if it was going to happen, it will sound like his solo project.
