I agree! Awesome how such a simple sound can be so good, no gimmicks, no flash, no frills! Just good old rock'n'roll! I missed them in Macon a month or so ago, couldn't make the drive, maybe I'll catch them next time if they play closer to me?
Love this band! Bought their album and it hasnt left my CD player in weeks. We've been to see them 3 times. Best band out there in my opinion.

What an awesome young new band, They are definitely "Making It", which is one of my new fave songs, saw these guys open for Gov't Mule in Jackson, MS last weekend. One of the best shows I have attended in a good while. If folks get a chance to see them in person, by all means do it!

Best comparison I can think of is the Black Crowes. These guys are it, they're going places for sure.
Unfortunately, Bishop Gunn discontinued operations in Feb 2020, just before the pandemic shut everything down. But, do check out their 2nd album called Gypsy Cadillac, recorded before they called it quits, and released in the Summer of 2021.
I, too, just discovered this band. My Son turned me onto them, Shine, was an intro song to a podcast he listens to and he played the song while visiting his momma. This is my kind of music! Hope this band gets to Northern CA soon. Keep at it, your fan base is growing.
