  • Today we are sharing with you one of those Walkthrough videos we love to produce when we go deep into the operation of some of our good friends.
This extensive visit of Kari Voutilainen's set up will show you what it takes to produce some 50 timepieces per year with the super high quality standards of Kari and his team.
And we were naturally very pleased on November 7th when was held the GPHG ceremony that they received two awards for Best Men's watch and Best Art Craft timepiece and now you will understand why!

I feel a bit overwhelmed seeing the amount of work it takes to produce 1 vautilainen watch......just wow. This level of quality is amazing. Honestly, to put a price tag on these beautiful pieces is kind of an insult for they are priceless. Thank you for this video.

With so much content around now, there is nothing original anymore in horology, IMHO. Nothing for seasoned WIS's to be able to learn something new. This was the first time in ages I felt I was seeing something I hadn't before, even though I have been lucky enough to handle a KV in the flesh. This was a superb video, and the first time I have seen a video of KV's 'factory'. The pinion piece on its own made it all worth it!!! One dial design of his that I have found interesting is the 'diminishing squares' or chessboard where the squares are thinner towards the end. He shows that in this video, and the calculations used to make sure a ratio is kept. Thank you!

Taking a quick moment to say congrats to Marc Andre and the people at TheWatches.Tv
I’ll never be able to afford most of the watches featured in this channel; (I probably wouldn’t even if could) yet, videos like this got me totally hooked on the art of watchmaking...
(I became a bit obsessed really...) Most of what i read/watch in my free time is in someway related to the industry. You guys are opening an entire new world to me.
I can’t even estimate the long-term impact of TheWatches.TV (and other similar channels) in the watchmaking industry.
Going forward, channels like this will likely prove to be the single most crucial platform for brands to connect with younger audiences (and ensure the future relevance of the industry.)
In my humble opinion, as younger consumers continue to gravitate toward an “experience based economy,” channels like this are the industry’s best bet in conveying the message that a well-crafted watch IS an experience.
What you guys do, is truly priceless for the industry.
Again, congratulations to everyone involved in the making of this channel.
(And thanks for introducing me to this world)
    Best wishes.
