Beautiful paintings! I connected so much with your comment about being given assignments in art school. I loved that because I struggled with what to create, I still do. Love these! The watercolors in the first layer suggest the glow of multicolored Christmas lights. The damask stencil was perfect. These are too cute!

Dang, Denise! I spent the last couple of weeks working on the Christmas cards I was planning to send out and finished them yesterday, pretty proud of myself. THEN I stumble on this video. This is my very favorite of all your videos. My daughters family and I are flying from CA to Dallas and then on to LA for Christmas and to be with family- the rest of my children and grandchildren and great grand children. I am going to take all the supplies to make these trees and see if any if the kids would like😊 to do some painting one day and make some Christmas trees.

I love watching your videos. Very upbeat. I make my Christmas cards each year & I use the cards from Strathmore as well. I’ve had a hard time this year getting my brain & hand to work together since I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer & had to have a Double Mastectomy a few months ago. I LOVE painting, it is so calming for me but I just can’t get it together. I have, however managed to get one started which has a tree 🌲 on it. I just hope I can get it finished & get myself together & get the rest of my cards done. Wish me luck. 🎨🖌️🌲

I was singing the Mission Impossible theme when you were adding the gold. Like a genius idea to tape off a simple triangle and make the most amazing Christmas cards. The gold made those trees. But i did love the pastel one too. LOL now to motivate myself and make a tree or 20. 😊❤😊❤
