It all boils down to useage. I would say ask youself what do you do in a tab? Watch movies? Take notes? Annotate pdfs? Samsung is better. But edit videos? Use Photoshop or other heavy softwares? Apple is better. The thing is in Samsung you get samsung notes app which is very good whereas in apple you need to buy good notes subscription. Needless to say the pen you get for free gives better experience than the apple pencil, in terms of overall feel of the pen. For context, i use the samsung Galaxy tab s8+ which is sort of flagship and on par with the ipads. And i am a med student do i really dont use much heavy softwares and the screen is so much better than the ipads.
