- after using my old ass intuous wacom tablet with multiple janky laptops for 8 YEARS... i deciced to switch over to something more portable and purchase the samsung tab s9 fe!

Love the video. 💕 The Tab….not so much. 😕 I got mine last month and was very hyped for it, but sadly *(at least *for me*)* the tablet didn’t deliver: the screen kept going in sleep mode on its own at the lightest touch or movement ((I tried with and without cover, rebooting and even resetting from scratch but nothing helped)) and the Kindle and Kobo apps showed repeated errors I’ve never seen on any other tablet or iPad I’ve had. Therefore - since I could not wait for the support to fix it - I reluctantly returned it. 😔
unfortunately that IS a problem with android, apps are usually just not as optomised 😞 though can you explain more on the screen going into sleep mode? what exactly does that mean? but from the looks of it i would guess you just a faulty model 😭
@@sofaglarses It means the screen turned off by itself and didn’t respond for several seconds whenever I held the tablet and moved it, for example placing it on the table or propping it on my knees or my lap. 🤷♀️ The first few times it happened I thought maybe it was me (perhaps I had inadvertently touched the screen in some way)….but when I saw it happen while I had been holding the Tab by the cover, I knew it was the tablet. And *faulty unit* was my theory too; unfortunately I needed the tablet pretty urgently, so I couldn’t wait weeks for a replacement let alone the months it’d take for Samsung support to fix it.

@@sofaglarses Thank you. 💞 I decided to switch entirely and got an iPad 10th gen. -- so far I haven't had any issues with the Kobo and Kindle apps...and the screen "sleeps" and turns off only when I close the cover's lid. :)

spen doesnt need connecting, you can use it right out the box
I have an ipad 10gen but I don't like it so I thought of upgrading it to ipad air or ipad pro but I can't download my fav editing apk so I also thought of switching to Samsung tab s9 fe but I can't have procreate there so this is so confusing what should I choose ?
i think you should think about which one you prioritize more, do you edit more or draw more? if you think editing is a main thing you want to do with a tablet then you should consider switching to samsung. in the video i showed an alternative for procreate that might work for you, but if you think you REALLY need procreate then maybe go for an ipad! you should also consider the price, for me ipads with a large enough storage cost very expensive where i live. for samsung, it's not an issue as you can add an extra sd card if you want to expand storage
i think you should switch to the Samsung Galaxy tab s9+ (FE) just in case so that the screen is big enough, and to use procreate I think you should download a mod! But if you prefer iOS I think you should switch to the iPad pro since they said there is a new one coming as well! But if you also like taking pics I am not sure if the camera will be good since they are removing one of the cameras from the new iPad Pro. Honestly, before my family had to boycott Apple, I Was Stuck Between The Regular iPad, The iPad Pro, The iPad Air, Xiaomi Pad 6 And The Samsung Galaxy Tab Since I Wanted To Take Photos, Edit, Play Games, And Draw. But Now Since Xiaomi Is Literally copying Apple and They Aren't Original Too, (I Also Do Not Really Like The Emojis Or Anything) I Decided To Pick The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ With A Good Amount Of Space.
I want to buy this or regular s9 could you tell me pros and cons of this tablet? I need this for my next school
you might have to watch a different video to compare, haha 😭 . i will say that for school, the tablet holds up well and performs everything I ask it to. Don't rlly see the point of going for the original s9

I really like the sound of drawing with metal nib on matte screen but i’ll also use it in my classes. Would it be too loud? I dont wanna disturb anyone but i really really like the sound of it. Idk what to doo
oh its def not loud! its basically the same sound as writing on paper, esp in class and yours just writing down in smaller strokes, it shouldnt be much of a distruption

Hi, is the metal nibs good for drawing?
imo they feel pretty natural especially paired with the matte screen protector, though i will warn that if you are the type to press harder when drawing then the nib might damage your screen protector. i usually draw pretty lightly so this wasnt an issue for me

Yupp I heard it wore out quickly which is why I made sure to grab these metal nibs before getting a matte screen protector! Curious though, how long do regular nibs last ?
@@sofaglarses well I use my tablet to draw so my s pen nibs have been fighting for they’re lives. I’d say, I replace my nib every 2 weeks??

it does heat up fairly quickly, haven't tried the tablet for any gaming, but in terms of specs the processor isnt really suited for gaming. not saying it's unplayable, but youre better of with a diff tablet like the xiaomi pad 6

Ohh!! i forgot to mention this, but samsung has a feature to upscale the quality, go to gallery and click the sparkle icon and theres an option to remaster the quality hopefully

How is screen(for the eyes) and battery life?(Don't tell me to lower my usage or setting as I strictly wanna know battery life with heavy use )
imo the battery is good enough for me. i use it sorta lightly so i cant exactly tell you how it is with heavy usage. i use it for around 6 hours a day and it'll use up 50% of the battery. i did also turn off the adaptive refresh rate so it does drain less
as for the screen, its actually pretty good! looks real sharp and still bright even in sunlight
@sofaglarses sheesh ok I'll consider that good but I asked how is the screen for eyes? Like eye strained easily? BTW I JUST GOT OUT FROM THE STORE AND BOUGHT tab s9 FE JUST RIGHT NOW !! hmm the screen has never strained my eyes, though i guess i should suggest changing the display setting from "vivid" to "natural" if it ever gets too bright or anything
@sofaglarses sorry I did not see that I wrote s23 fe , rather I meant tab s9 fe. I really wanted to choose green mint color but sadly there was only Grey option in the Shop I visited (my parents are paranoid of buying electronics online)

No offense i am a samsung fan but you should have gotten a ipad for that price
i think i made it seem like my tablet was suuper expensive but its not rlly that bad. anyway,i'd have to go waaay out of my budget if i were to get a decent ipad, plus i dont really like ios for productivity, which is why i ultimately chose samsung !!
