3 DLCs ago back in DLC 13 we got the absolute monster DBS Gogeta who turns into Super Saiyan and is still one of the best characters in Xenoverse 2 with his fast combos and ludicrously high damage and amazing supers & ultimate attacks!

I will never get over the fact they only gave him super saiyan as a transformation, he could’ve been the first DLC character to have a blue transformation 😢

True but they did Justice for him by making him have a HUGE boost when transforming into SSJ. Its almost double the damage.

Fun fact:
With this gogeta you can do a unvanishable warp kame combo with YXYXY so you can severely screw someone over even if they used capsule
U can even fake them out then assault vanish behind them (if they do a evasive ) and do it all over again to destroy them 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣do it all the time

They should do a big custom mentor update and this update just includes every "updated" character in the game DBS Gogeta, PA Picolo, EVO Vegeta, FP and Golden Frieza, FP Cell, FP Jiren, MUI and Idk if i forgot anyone but if they not gonna do that just custom mentor every character and make the game a bit more fun

Base Gogeta doesn't have a great stamina break. He recovers so fast off of his boost L that you can stamina break off of that (if your opponent is standing), you can sometimes break off of his HLHLH by cancelling the last hit into a stamina break, and you can break by doing HLH > step forward > 1H > stamina break (quite hard to input).
Assault vanish is mad slept on

DBS Gogeta is really fun but I never understood why they gave him Shine Shot. Also, why is Super Mad Dance in a different spot compared to both of the other Gogetas who have Super Mad Dance? That is so confusing for me.

Ok but why does cabba get to transform from base to SSJ, but we need a completely different gogeta just for him to go SSJ? same with vegito blue. Feel like that could’ve just combined the two and called it a day.

@@jgoofy8233 vegito literally transformed from base to SSGSS in the zamasu arc when he first showed up. He can clearly do it and gogeta did the whole transformation line in the movie. And what do you mean “take away CaCs from having their moment”?

@@gummi5028 Re-read what I said. I never said Vegito didn't fight in SSGSS, I said he never fought with his base form in DBS unlike Gogeta. And If Gogeta had a transformation earlier on in XV2's DLCs, Cacs would become obsolete for at least a whole month since they wouldn't be special. (Since this is around when the SSGSS transformation first came out)

So Base Gogeta is basically built without a stamina break, the only 2 I know of that work against every character are Comet Strike into break and a charged heavy into break, but it's been pretty well established that Comet Strike doesn't fucking work and you'd have to be fighting an idiot to land a fully charged heavy stright up, HLH into Shine Shot into charged H then break is something that usually works but you have to be in Super Saiyan for it. He does have a semi consistent one in his light combo after he does the warp into an elbow but it only works on big bodies like Broly and Omega.
I like base gogeta, but I honestly don’t like that his damage is this cracked as it makes no sense.
And they gave him the moves gogeta used when in ssgss

imagine if all characters had mentor versions. i would main goten mentor and make him a mini goku black with god fist and 10x kamehameha, god fist is a grab and grabs during heavy stamina breaks force the panting animation giving goten time to fully charge the 10x. and give him the kioken awoken so he wont teleport. he would be so busted like that being able to just dish out 15k damage at any point he wants

One thing about this gogeta no combos can connect with the stamina break what u can do is the square combo (stop when he appears behind the guy and stun him, like before the last square)then shine shot then hold triangle and stamina brake.

Use punisher drive look back while holding (y) or (triangle) usually if there connection is good the should get stunned and you can break them

What do you mean by the Blue Gogeta comparison? I know Blue has a few that roughly mirror DBS Broly’s breaks.
@@Catch93Prod like you can do his combo when he kicks you up in the air shine shot and that's a stamina break. And blue Gogeta actually has a stamina break it's just very hard to do.
@@nguvukwateagle7147 I see what you mean about using skill assisted stamina breaks like Frieza race does. But I disagree on Blue Gogeta having hard stamina breaks. He has 8 light-break, 1 heavy - 3 light - break, and his all heavy on the ground can lead to a break. Someone like Vegito Blue has harder breaks IMO.
@@Catch93Prod yeah I learned that route haven't seen anyone online use it so ig we are the only player who know because it's not hard but on certain characters like base vegito not vegito blue for some reason it doesn't work. Only when they are facing you bit when you are behind them it hits. That's what I mean by hard more or less character dependent

Xenoverse is made by 2 people, one that understands the characters and another that programs, and the first guy occasionally takes full control making dbs gogeta and the like, just occasionally.
Dimps should give Vegito the same Super Saiyan boost as this Gogeta. He severely needs it and a custom partner.

Gogeta doesn't have any stamina breaks within his combos. I've only been able to find two but they use his supers. You can use punisher drive and light break after the backhit, and (if the connection is good) you can do either a light or heavy break right after the last hit on comet strike. Sucks that the comet strike one is more reliable when you can do both since if you're playing online the last hit sends them across the map even though they should be right next to you after it.
You don't need stamina breaks. Every character can combo into their ultimate without one.

DBS Gogeta doesn't have a stamina break combo. If you want to land one, you'll have to land Shine Shot, dash into them, charged hit, and THEN light stamina break.
