This installation is not fit for use. The air flow around the stove is critical so if this is not regulated and you find something wrong that's OK just replace or sort it, Bodging the job will end up coming back to bight you.
I would recommend inspecting the rope, smoke divertor and seals of your appliances at least every other month.

videos are good and clear thank you.
In this you state all multi fuel stoves should have a minimum of 6" liner. I've got an esse500 to put in and it says to use a 5" liner in the instructions? is there much difference if so what why etc thanks.

    Hello Andy
    Great question.
Normally the information of websites state the size of the stove pipe coming of the top or back of the stove. For a multi fuel stove this size should be increased to a minimum of an 6" liner at the nearest point to the stove. This is normally done when the stove pipe passes through the register plate. This link will take you to esse.com/contact-us/ . Or ring 01282 813235 for the technical department of the ESSE stove and they will confirm my information.
Thanks again for a great question, it catches a lot of people out.
If we can help you with purchasing a great liner kit please just check out our link.
