- ET has learned Ben Affleck is not dating RFK Jr.’s daughter, Kick Kennedy, after the pair was reportedly spotted spending time together at The Polo Lounge at the Beverly Hills Hotel in Los Angeles.
Divorce papers were not yet filed and he was seeing someone else already. Wow, what piece of crap. I hope Jlo would burn that 8 page wedding vows because he meant none of it.

Ben was not happy in the marriage with JLo. Every single picture he looked so bitter... Is almost like she forced him to get married.... he didn't hide his feelings at all he wanted out.
He was happy at the beginning same as how he was happy at the beginning with Jennifer Garner and how he was happy at the beginning with Ana de Armas who he was dating when the "sad Ben Affleck" meme started with every photo of him looking miserable. He wasnt bitter, he was fed up of Jlo using him for photo opportunities. If u notice, even during mid conversation, she's always kissing him and showing affection for the cameras but not even listening to what he's saying. He realised her love affair was with the cameras and not him!

I still do not believe Ben Affleck wanted to divorce Jen Garner. If Jen Garner would have gone along with him "in the dark" like she had been doing, I believe "HE" wouldn't have chosen a divorce. The woman is sweet. She's a good mother. She was cooking and still rising to the occasion to keep their children happy--despite Ben's sour moods.
Most likely, Jen Garner "had enough" once she saw the scope of problems and issues she had dealing with Ben Affleck. I believe she came to a place where she "put her foot down," and wasn't going to go along with his shenanigans any longer.
You never know. Maybe Ben Affleck thought Jen Garner would "give in" and let him continue to do "who knows what."
In the end, when talk of a divorce became serious to Ben Affleck, I think he tried to be right, but he could not walk "the straight and narrow." I just think he's still not steady enough. He's been wild in the past and he's not completely over it yet. It takes time for people to change.
The divorce between Ben Affleck and JLo also seems a bit erratic. It's not peaceful. There was no statement about them maturely coming to the conclusion that they are on different paths, etc. It seems like it's full of emotion.
Now Ben Affleck is putting on a "smiley face" in public during a very public divorce. He's so concerned about people believing he's happy being free now. I just still see plenty of dysfunction and I hope Ben Affleck AND JLo will receive some kind of therapy to help them through this rough period of their lives.

Many are blaming JLo for the letters thing. I do not think that was the main issue. Yes, it was not a smart move, I would call it idiotic, really. You know you are going against your husband's desire to keep things private and that is what comes to your mind? But if you are really in love you can overcome certain things. I think he used that as an excuse to get out of the marriage, as if that were "the last straw". My two cents on this is that there are three main causes for the split:
1. Both ego's (Ben's ego is no second to hers, she is an extrovert narcissistic and he is a covert one, they are complementary)
2. Idealization of the romance they had in 2003 - but both are - of course - different people now
3. BUT ABOVE ALL, and I see that almost nobody talks about this, Ben had just left Ana de Armas and since SHE was the one who left him, it is reasonable to think that he was hurt the most (if he were the one who left, he would have not felt so bad), so surely he saw the opportunity to look for consolation in J Lo because she was "available", and had never stopped to love him (narcissistic supply easy to find, what else could a narcisstic could dream of?? 😌). It is mainly this tricky rebound feeling, this need to fill in the void he had at the moment, that doomed this relationship from the start. She at least was more sincere in her desire to rekindle the relation (after all, for 20 years she told anyone who listened that he was the love of her life and that she felt she was going to die when he left her). Instead, Ben... maybe he felt that it was only fair to do it because this time it could work. He thought that it was ok to give themselves that chance, but deep inside he WAS NOT in love with her. So obvious. He just searched for comfort when he was down and felt alone. In Italy there is a saying: "la minestra riscaldata non è mai buona" ("the warm-up soup is never good" or "same old same old", something like that. In short: guys, NEVER, EVER go back to old stories. Almost 100% of the time it will NEVER end well.
