Does it get hot on the outside of the unit?
Got this in my semi truck. Wonderful! Can’t use it at 400 degrees though. Gotta turn that down a bit cause the truck inverter don’t like that
Just got mine today. I love this thing just about as much as my instant pot. Thank you for the great product. I’m amazed with the quality.
Love the oven! Works great for meatloaf, chicken, potatoes, etc. Works lousy for popcorn. Only pops half the bag. When I use my popcorn carafe (glass) with popcorn kernels added, barely any of them pop as opposed to my previous regular microwave which always popped most of them. Have to go back to popping in a pan on the stove or get a popcorn machine.
I got this 1 werk ago and it works perfectly fine and in my opinion it's amazing

I just got the 1.6 cu version of this, and I do like it. I wish the air frying feature was stronger tho. What normally took 7 minutes on my stand alone air fryer takes 14-15, and it was still a little luke warm in the middle. We are still playing with it to see, but its a pretty microwave.

Hi. You can use your own pan (oven safe cake pan) set on the glass turntable and set the time and temperature to your recipe.
Or you can use a 9” cake pan and use the auto program

Do you have replacement parts for the air fryer tray and raw meat tray? It seems weird to just put a metal tray in the machine since it's a microwave, im worried about damage or fires.

Hi ARguy - yes, the roller ring is safe when using convection and air fry.
Now if they would put out some good videos for recipes so I can learn how to use the darn thing!
Yes, we just got one. I have found that you can follow directions for regular air fryers. Sort of. It really is trial and error. Have not really figured out the cov/microwave part yet.
But they are slow on getting recipes out. I heard you can make a cake in it. I been searching for such a recipe but yet to find anything. I have found videos where they talk about being able to do it. But then it ends.
you can use whatever recipe for the appropiate type of cooking just adjust for timing because of the smaller size and rotation baking and air frying will be faster.

Am having the same problem with the Bake setting. I have been told it would cook faster at the same temp in this machine, but so far it is taking as long if not longer than my regular oven. May be taking this back. Have not tried the AF yet. I am not real crazy about experimenting and ruining my food. Can bet expensive and wasteful.
@@PraterKDZ I never use the preset. I baked a cake in the conventional oven on 350 and it cooked it so fast in 7 minutes the cake was cooked on top. So I learned that cooking your meals on 300 will cook it slowly and evenly. 400 would cook it to fast. I find the conventional oven is better but the air fryer is good too.
Ok, so ....is there some type of cookbook/recipes that should have come with this machine? Have done as suggested to cook at regular oven setting but for half the time. No such luck , have had to add 15min. every time. So, far have cooked this half of a spaghetti squash 45mins. and is still not done. Could have had it done in the regular oven in this amount of time. Have not tried the AF yet.

Can I still use my plastic rice cooker on microwave mode? Is microwave safe plastic ok to use when used just as a microwave?

Does the outside of this get very hot? I'm thinking of getting this for use in my truck, cabinets are made of a hard plastic, so if this gets too hot it won't work

I can't set the clock! When I hold the Clock/Timer I never get the "Hr12". I've never had problems setting a microwave clock before!! lol. Any suggestions would be great.

We had the same problem. However, I started to push clock than start button and + button to get the right time. It went up by 10 minuts to the almost right time (was 5:06), I waited until was 5:10 and did it again pushed the start button and started working the machine. I cancelled it. I started again adjusting the clock and it automaticly adjusted itself. It shows the clock well, now. Otherwise, it works well.

Yes, you can use foil pans in convection mode. Please remember that you can not use when microwaving so we encourage using pans that work in both microwave and convection cooking. I got mines in December, it’s now February and mines stopped working. It doesn’t get hot nor do the thing turns. Taking it back tomorrow
Does anyone know how many watts/ amps this thing uses? I have an old farm house with very limited electrical capacity. Our neighbors gave us an awesome microwave that cooks crazy fast, but we cant use it because the plug started melting , its like 1400 watts. Im hoping this would be a good all in one light duty solution since we do not have an oven either.
Microwave 1350W. Convection 1450W. Per the manual.

I was in Walmart a couple of days ago intending to buy one of these, and a lady who happened to be on the same aisle told me that she had one that wouldn't turn off after she had used it for a couple of months. She said she wasn't telling me not to get one, but just letting me know. I didn't buy one that day, deciding instead to come back home and check out some reviews before making a decision. I don't have an air fryer now, and my microwave is on the fritz and will have to be replaced very soon, yet I like the concept of an air fryer-microwave combo, so I hope I find one that is highly rated.

I didnt know where to contact the customer service so I'll leave a comment here. I bought this and tried to use the air fry mode for the first time, and super loud noise came out of the microwave. Sounded so dangerous I had to turn it down immediately. Is this normal or is mine malfunctioning?

Also, the customer service number should be listed on the cooking label inside the microwave for future reference.
Mine is as loud as an average microwave, but boy do they get hot as hell. Don't put anything on top of the microwave 😉. I was wondering if I should have gone with the Panasonic instead, but now that I experienced the air-fry technology and made some chicken bites and mozzarella sticks, now I'm a believer. Use a heavy duty oven mitt and be careful as to not touch the burner when removing your food. I burned my nuckle tonight, more like I seared it.
I loved this but had it for 2 weeks and it for some reason just shut off out of nowhere has anyone else had this problem what should I do. It was to expensive to just let it go.

The Air Fry program in our Air Fry Microwave uses the Convection system with a specially designed program. It uses intense heat and circulated air together to create the air frying with little or no oil.

I just purchased this Microwave/Air-Fryer/Oven and I'm really stoked to use it. But the instructions aren't clear on how to use it's air-fryer feature or how to use the attachments that can with to air fry things. To be fair I've never used an Air-Fryer before in my life and I'm not smart enough to figure it out.
It would be cool if there were was an instructuonal videos on how to actually use this feature of this product. All I can find are recipes for stuff made in an Air-Fryer not how to actually use the air fryer.

I can’t set the clock time. I read it and read it I can’t set the clock time😖
Hold the clock/timer button in for half a minute or so until it beeps. Then it will say "Hr 12". Use + or - buttons to change hour. Then Start. Then set the minutes with + or - and hit start after again. If holding the button in doesn't work try pressing a little higher or lower. Some of the touchscreens can be finicky.

My son bought me this and the first time I used it I thought it was going to blow up my house. Read other reviews online, and I wasn't alone. It sounded like an air raid warning. Super dangerous! Even the customer service rep told me to unplug it immediately and get it out of the house. 😬😳😡

Buying GALANZ items was THE WORST and most disappointing shopping experience I had in a long time. From items expiring right after 1 year warranty to the most ineffective customer service I've seen in a long time. Many similar reviews reviews out there which I didn't listen until I had it on my own..... If you can help it STAY AWAY!!
