The first Alter Bridge I ever heard, interestingly Myles plays the first part of the solo, then Mark takes over with his trademark shredding, such an emotional song lyrically too, been hooked ever since, seen them numerous times here in the UK.
My personal favourite track from them is " Cry of Achilles" structural perfection to my ears, with a Spanish guitar intro, epic pre-chorus and chorus, awesome bridge and 2 soaring solos, 🤘🤘

You need to listen to Myles' first band The Mayfield Four and the vocals on 12/31 and Summergirl. You will forget about Jared Leto. Really, you will.

Fun fact: the riff at 6:22 isn’t picked at all. He’s playing that solely by tapping the fretboard with his left hand. It’s something that’s always impressed me, even to this day.

@@Tyius420 while that is true Alter Bridge are very very high up the legendary bands list pretty much every metal fan hears very early on.
