We all know, Aussies have been saved by rain. An extraordinary display of character and skill by our girls. They were in a winning position in their first ever pink ball test that too against the Aussies who have played more tests than us. All in all, awesome effort.

@@haz486 India were putting runs on the board they thought that their first innings score was good enough to get the job done for first innings so they declared whereas australia was chasing so it makes no sense to declare as they were no where even close to the target set but the Indian side

Mithali should've declared with a lead of 200 ahead, in under 2 sessions, would've setup the game beautifully, defensive conservative captaincy
@hiiiat the fall of mandana's wicket it was 206 runs ahead, could've declared then with 50 overs remaining, it's not at all an easy target in a test match on last day last session under lights with pink ball, am not saying we could've gotten them all out but would've made the ending very interesting we could've got them 8 down by close and would've made for a much better advertisement for women's test cricket
i thought the same too 200 lead is more than enough and still 45 overs left for the day..even in men's ODI 200 chase for 50 over is an average score...considering indian girls bowling was good at 1st innings and anyhow its going to draw if they still continue to bat,so captain must have declared and let aussies try their best..its not risky it is challenging..its the confidence..Virat or dhoni would have done that boldly for sure

Commentators were biased but I don't see any issue with umpiring. It becomes our habit to always make complaint about umpiring in matches we don't win.

- Women's Tests need to be 5 days as well
- Pitches need to be more sporting, females can only bowl 110km/h so make the pitches sporting, this was a road.
- More intent with the bat required to even get the public intereste

@@mr.champion6625 boss, bcci has done everything to make female cricketers but they have not been up to mark yet due to whatever reason, great display in this test match but it comes once in a moon by them. Ask mithali or jhulan, how were Conditions of women cricketers when they were under government and how much they were earning. The lady who has given good remarks here, even she might have not seen full match (forget match, not 1 day full), she just commented by seeing highlights. It's easy to write any comment...

It's not financially beneficial for boards secondly they bowl 400 overs in tests that's 50 less then men's test cricket and one session less only
