- Both looked set to snatch victory at various stages of a spellbinding Test match but in the end, Australia and England settled for a draw after a rollercoaster day four in Canberra.

@@SilentHotdog28 yes they choked. Teams dont collapse generally in those situation they chase it perfectly and when you need to finish the game they played some rash shot.. they dont even need those when its a run of ball game
A draw was probably the only fair result given how good both the teams played.

@@gokulm92 No. Both teams played well. Remember it's a 4 day match. If it were a 5 day match then the result would be different. Players played the match with 4 day mindset. So you can't say that. It's a fair draw.
Had it been a 5 day test, australia won't declare twice, they had 7 down in 2nd innings, they could easily add another 30 runs in the total
Tie would have been even better than draw.
England was on course before 4th wicket fell

I mean was their catching fantastic? They dropped quite a lot
They did drop a few but Australia's ground catching was excellent .. took some difficult catches under pressure. Both team's dropped a lot in the slips as is always the case with women's test matches because they are not used to much of this. Aussie fielders supported their bowlers by holding on to their catches better than their counterparts.
Atrocious batting again . These batters almost completely spoiled all the good work done by sciver and knight .
Should have comfortably won .

this is my first time watching a women test and damn, wasn't this one for the ages! blown away! More competitive and entertaining than the five tests men just played!

Great to see an England ashes team showing fighting spirit.
They choked dude. They had to go at a run a ball and messed it up.
At one point they required 45 runs in 10 overs with 7 wickets in hand and in the end, their last two players had to save match for them.
Now imagine men's team in same situation. I wonder if any human in this world would have said that they showed great fighting spirit.

Chad Eng Women's team: Drawn but almost chased down 257 inside 58 overs *AWAY* in Australia!
Virgin Eng men's team: Lost! Couldn't bat 60 overs (all out for 120) at *HOME* vs India last year.
Eng also beat ind in Headingley test match by huge margin....😕😏👎 So there is no dfrnce between these two teams.... Both r unpredictable & inconsistent team.....😑😑 Jab jitta hai tab kisi na kisi miracle se jitte hai aur jab Harta hai tab koi fight nehi hota ,,, One sided contest hota hai.... Eng & ind dono team hi ghatiya hai....

@@joyalpatel6000 No, a draw is when none of the teams can win. Tie is a rare event when the chasing team levels the scores but the time( or overs) runs out. IIRC, only 4 ties have happened so far.
My whole family was watching and pacing up and down the last hour of the match. One of the best and most tense days of test cricket I’ve ever seen

I rarely watch TV. Something told me this afternoon to turn on the final session of this Test and Wow was I glad I did. Riveting drama and a great advertisement for the game.

An absolutely brilliant test match IND vs ENG Women in Bristol, England last year, Fantastic Test Match IND vs AUS Day Night Women's Test Match in Australia late last year, Now this 👏👏👏 All happened in the space of few months. This shows that Women are actually pretty good in Test Cricket seriously speaking even though they play Test Cricket so rarely.All the more reason for Women to atleast try to play Test Cricket once in a while. Easier said than done though. Really waiting for BCCI to somehow arrange a Women's Test Match in India in the near future. Credit to all the players and the Coaches and Staff for putting in all the effort and dedication.
I must say, I am really enjoying watching these sweet derrières in action -on both sides. Great athleticism and sportmanship. Well done ladies.
