Had to pause and rewind to confirm your wife was served a Pepsi onboard the incredible ol' Orient Express. How dare they! lol.
VERY BEAUTIFUL VIDEOS. THANK YOU TO SHOW OUR COUNTRY IN THE WORLD. IM FROM TUCUMAN, IT IS A PROVINCE IN THE NORTHWEST OF ARGENTINA . WHERE BORN ARGENTINA IN 9 JULY , 1816. HERE IS THE INDEPENDENCE HOUSE. TUCUMAN IS A TOURIST PROVINCE TOO . DIFERENT LANDSCAPES, DIFERENT CLIMATES, A LOT KIND OF MUSEUMS, THEATRES, PARKS, RESTAURANTS, PUBS AND A VERY IMPORTANT COMERCIAL , INDUSTRIAL AND FINANCIAL CENTER IN THE NORTH. WELCOME TO TUCUMAN THEN.
Excelent tour
Greting from Mar del Plata
I am one of the people who not only drove a 1969 VW campervan from the end of the road in Alaska to the end of the road in Tierra del Fuego in 1988/89/90 but started in San Francisco and ended up putting it on a ship to Europe and drove all over Europe and had my magnificent van (my home on wheels) stolen in Seville Spain. It has been wonderful to see your modern version of this whole area and how much more extra tourism has come to the whole region. Together as a couple I find your style of presentation very agreeable and it certainly transports me to many memories of my time and experiences. As a 70 year old I can tell you that you are both building a bank of memories for yourselves which when you are 70 you also will appreciate the fact that you did these travels in your younger years. Life is short! Live it!
Look up Andrew Wommack's A Better Way To Pray and Within Heaven's Gates by Rebecca Springer 😇
A life well lived.
Wow that is amazing that you actually did the drive and way back then! Chris was born the year that you did it 1988, and carol didn't exist at all.
@@JumpingPlaces yes it was a very different time with much more freedom. And three years of driving my trusty 1969 VW campervan through North and South America (and Europe) has left me with absolutely incredible memories which at my age of 70, with the body slowing down, I relive as much as possible. One absolutely amazing experience that I lived and enjoyed and totally appreciated is the fact that the Vice President at the VW Headquarters in San Bernardo do Campo in Sao Paulo gave authority to completely rebuild my van with new engines (twice) and everything else and in addition to put me and my van on a car carrier from Rio de Janeiro to Salerno in Italy in 1990. This was done in exchange for my pictures which I took of the van in all the surroundings that one comes across during such a journey. So when the van was stolen the engine had only done 12,000 kms. You can imagine how devastated I was to come back to my house on wheels to discover that my van was stolen in Seville Spain. I actually wrote a photo illustrated book with several of my favourite pictures about this journey which I wanted VW Brasil to publish, the objective being to inspire people like yourselves to undertake this amazing journey. Unfortunately I ran out of finances to return to Sao Paulo because I am pretty sure that had I presented myself in person and showed them a copy of my coffee table book that VW Brasil would have published it for a worldwide audience. I guess it wasn't meant to be.
So therefore I thoroughly enjoy watching videos of South America and the Philippines. I am now married to a filipina and we are planning to go back to the Philippines for three months very soon to enjoy some more adventures there. If ever you come to Australia look me up. Meanwhile enjoy building on your memories together, you are a wonderful couple.
Wow 😲
Ushuaia: a "viking"' city in Atgentina, resembles Reykjavic (Iceland).
it does!
As u've said, lot of different places in Patagonia, if u head to north Patagonia, u'll find a huge "alpin" area, with lakes and cities and towns resembling Switzerland....(Bariloche-Villa la Angostura-San Martin de los Andes: route of 7 lakes)
Need to head to the north next time then :D

ARGENTINA is a very beautiful country .Your channel is very good.
The good thing about Argentina is that it contains the four ecosystems, if you go south you freeze, if you go north you cook, then you have the deserts, the forests, the falls, the jungles, the mountains, the jungle and the cities. you have a lot to choose from!
Such a wonderful video and such a lovely couple...Argentina is such beautiful country...very European!
Argentina is overwhelmingly beautiful. Those mountains. I can feel the elements just watching your videos. I’m not a real fan of wine but Malbec is a favorite of mine.
This felt like being in the national park with you guys. The argentina videos have been something special :)
Yeah this has been a spectacular trip, and many people have never even heard of these places including ourselves a few months ago :D
I flew from the heat of Igauzu to Ushuia and it was a shock to the system.
I was en route to Antarctica and I can recommend this once in a lifetime experience.
Your pictures brought back some happy and wet memories.
We are heading out on what sounds like the same itinerary as you just took so thank you for the shock to the system reminder
By far your channel is the most balanced travel channel we continue to watch. Awesome video this week as always.
Wow, thank you!
Very neat old steam train. I love the sound of the horn. I had no idea the southern tip of Argentina looked like that.
Argentina overall hdi 46 highest quality of life after chile with 45 millions population respect from bd 🇧🇩😘🇦🇷❤️❤️
Es hermosa Argentina 🇦🇷👍
Travelling to the end of the world has never looked more appealing
Espero estén a gusto!
Although the weather is a bit cold, but there are mountains, harbors, and all the elements you want for travel are in this video,
It was a great train journey, I believe you will still remember how great it is when you look back, thanks for sharing!
The 'Blue lagoon' probably is lake Argentina the biggest sweetwater lake on earth.
loved the trains and champagne🥂🥂🍾🍾👍👍
Have you been to Bariloche, in northern Patagonia and the Lakes district?
Down "Alerces" National Park there are some welsh towns...
not yet, hopefully next time when we visit again :D
We follow your beautiful channel now for a year and we are very happy to watch all your traveling. When we were young and beautiful we also traveled like you and understand your interests and now we are very ,very grateful to you showing us all superb videos and pictures,Excellent job, guys, thank you very much. You two are one of a kind.Beautiful people.
Like so many others watching this, I AM JEALOUS! Well done as always. The architecture, to me, reflects the climate. Steep sloping roof-lines, gabled windows, Tudor-style design - all reflect a region that receives big snow falls, winds, storms and rain. And when you are watching from a heat-ravaged place like summer here in Australia right now, it all looks sublime. Keep it coming guys! Stay safe - keep warm.
The incredible thing is that while in Ushuaia it was that cold, in my province, Córdoba Argentina, 3300 km away, it was between 35 and 40 degrees.
I was there in September 2019, I took that train and it snowed all the trip. I felt in a winter movie
Would love to see it like that also :D
Carol has had a Coke or Pepsi in every corner of the world. 😀
Om my gosh! Two thumbs up! If planned I can spend USD 5000 on a cruise down to Antarctica. As you say once-in a lifetime experience. Good prices all over.
Yes, Malbec is very "friendly" vine.
Tip: If you couldn't get your passport stamped at the National Park's post office, you can do it for free at the downtown tourist office in Ushuaia (and you can choose the stamps : D )
Hola.
Wow!!!! Thank you so much 💓 like I said I lived in Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 for nearly 10 years. I was born in Chicago and hated cold weather so I never visited southern Argentina 🇦🇷. Another great video 📹. I can't believe how green everything looks.
i have travelled along Estrecho de Magallanes with my husband { Tripulante } located in Between Argentina & Chile too...with the same snow capped mountain ... Wow !! that was such an amazing experience ....me, being from the Philippines...sooo happy to see this vlog...
Hello from Canada, WOW!!!, amazing places,
What a train trip ! The great thing is it didn’t go too fast so you can appreciate it more. That scenery was amazing. 🙏
This is my dream trip!
I love that train ride…how cool 🚂
Chris and Carol, over and over you never cease to amaze me. Your travels, videography and photos are beyond words. You transport us to spectacular and magnificent parts of this world. Also, I love how you two are so down to earth, what a beautiful couple you are. Keep travelling and we look forward to many more astounding vlogs from you. Stay safe and God bless!
Hermoso lugar 🔥🇦🇷
💕🇦🇷 Mi Argentina hermosa
Definitely one of my favorite locations that you have shown.
Very beautiful
wanna be there in Argentina right now....wowww simply amazing...
Thanks for sharing the video.
In Ushuaia there is a Hard Rock Cafe and an Irish Pub, you can visit the ESMERALDA LAGOON, CAMILA LAGOON and the TIERRA DEL FUEGO NATIONAL PARK.
Yes we saw the hard rock cafe but didnt visit :D
Hello from the Caribbean, been in Argentina few times and i love it.
Una belleza Usuahia !! 💓 🌺🌺
I got emotional when I saw the small indicidual tables with the drinks and the gifts, I cried with excitement!
Thanks for sharing these wonderful journeys. Recently found your channel and El Nido videos, and now so many amazing scenes from Argentina. Hope to be able to travel there one day.
Welcome aboard!
@@JumpingPlaceswhat month were you in Ushuaia? I may have missed it in the video but I’d love to know when you all were there, it would help me with planning own trip. Thanks for making this video!
I felt like watching something like a movie! Beautiful train, sceneries and awesome food&drink! It’s sometimes good to take time and have great time on the train!😍💓
Muy lindo video chicos!
What a nice experience, definitely will have to try that train ride in the future 🤩
I'm sitting back and enjoying the train ride, too!
Beautiful video guys, keep them coming. Greetings from Florida, USA.
I LOOOOVE this vid, the rain made it mystical.. That train ride was enjoyable with all the views and booze 🤩🍷
At minute 23:38 those cut down trees are the ones cut down by the prisoners, in the early 1900s. They are also seen in other areas near the city.
Argentina is beautiful . Thanks for sharing.
Made me laugh how carol was getting sick of you asking “are you sure?” 😆
Gracias from a traveler who's been waiting out the pandemic - you've given me a great vicarious vacation! Always wanted to go to Tierra del Fuego - Thanks!
Beautiful video. Really loving your Argentina videos..
Tierra del fuego... Ushuaia
I never leave comments but you guys are adorable! Favorite travel channel hands down.
Ushuaia looks much better than I expected. Definitely better than Punta Arenas. That style of Tudor half-timbered buildings is also German style and I'm pretty sure German presence is strong here, as in many other regions of Latin America. Thanks for your videos, although I changed my plans and we will go to Bahia with my gf instead of Argentina. The weather will be more likable there.
Btw, I bought the GoPro you recommend yesterday and it's dynamite!
Happy Valentine you two and happy travels!
not German style, Ushuaia is a "viking" city, resembles Reykjavic (Iceland)
A lot of Germans, Wales, suiz, Irish, and italians like myself..
Thank you for showing the beautiful part of Argentina. .love it
What a beautiful place.
Fantastic! Saving my money to go hiking in Patagonia early next year!
And to think.....you guys are there at the warmest time of the whole year ! Brrrrrrrrrrrr 🥶
Here in Buenos Aires, it was 14 degrees in the morning. And we're in high summer. Crazy weather.
Thanks for sharing, we’re headed there in a few days. Can’t wait to see it all!
Livin the dream
Cool adventure. Love the post office where you can send postcards anywhere. 😊👍
Fabulous video. Stunning views. So well done. Love all your videos. Thank you.
This is another high quality, excellent video. The part that made me giggle the most was the third time Chris asked Carol if she was sure that they both had their own tables. I'm sure Chris didn't want to take the chance of inconveniencing another passenger, even for the few moments it would take him to move. You guys deserved a bit of luxury so this was lovely to see! Great work!
Pretty fantastic. Carol is so classy.
It was a great experience :D
Fantastic place. Love your posh train. Great video.👍😊💙
Good luck always. Blessings
So enjoying seeing all these places in Argentina. This town looks a very exotic location with loads to do although still trying to wrap my head around the fact that it's got to be officially still summer there despite all the wooly hats and gloves!!
The summer in Ushuaia.
Never knew the about end of the world 🌎 piece always learning something from your videos. Good to see you all recovered from the 70 Km walking adventures in Patagonia. Take care.
Thanks for an awesome video ! You’ve convinced me to go when I’m in Argentina later this year !
Breathtaking views!
I also love the building structures with extended roofings by the windows/doors.
🥰😍🤩
What they serve to you is called Guiso de lentejas, Lents' stew. Is a tipical food from Argentina. It's a mix between Spanish food and Native American food.
I really enjoy train rides. i went on 3 train rides last year in Peru, Colorado and New Mexico. If I ever visit Ushuaia, i will most definitely take that luxury train ride - the scenery you shared of the ride was beautiful.
You should try in Argentina : Train "at the end of the world" in Ushuaia ," Trochita " train in Esquel, and " Tren de las Nubes" on the north.
@@mgk284 I am actually going on that train ride in Ushaia this October. I am looking forward to it.
Gracias x vistar Argentina! Bienvenidos! Ustedes son personas muy agradables!
I lived 8 yrs in ushuaia. I was the manager/owner of a hostel there between 2002 and 2010. beautiful place but also always cold. i arrived as a backpacker, made friends and ended up coming back over and over until i stayed. now i prefer hotter and tropical places lol. i have also been to Antarctica in the year 2000. i "only " paid 1500 $ with Bremen boat as i was lucky as prices were minimum 3000$ back then for 12 days (including the Falkland islands -but you should name them as malvinas there otherwise people will get angry:) an amazing restaurant with an incredible view is Chez Manu in ushuaia near the glacier on top it has the best view especially in the summer nights and has the best food
Nice train sceneries...
0:42 "El Calafate" is a city in Patagonia, Argentina
Beautiful beautiful ! Thank you .
such a nice video, thank you sharing this travel with us
Hi, I just discovered your CZcams site. I truly enjoyed watching the photos of places you have visited and was thrilled to know you had been to El Nido Palawan , Phils. where I was originally from but did'nt get the chance to see the place in person. I'm watching right now your video on Usuhuaia and Patagonia. They're beautiful.
Welcome aboard!
Another amazing, beautiful trip!
Nice video guys . Is so beautiful my country !
Love all your videos especially ones from south america it brings back lots of memories of back home in guyana.
Simply Amazing! I love watching all your videos…

Chris, danger! Carole may get used to first class.
What an interesting adventure. You guys are so cool. Thanks for taking me along on your journeys. And nice to see you two get a little trashed with that wine. woo hoo!
Our pleasure!
Cool video, loved the train trip 🚂 🍷

Hermoso ! Voy a ir de vacaciones !
I love it, it was a really, really nice experience for me through you. It's such a beautiful place. It's a great place to be. It's like you are in a little bit of a dream world....
It really is!
super enjoyable & love this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Really nice, even if it was a bit cold there. I kept thinking, no way they drank enough wine to go swimming on that beach, in that weather!
