I found this CD in my house today. I never heard of this band. This album pushed me back to the loving arms of christ.

Yesterday, I married the love of my life. As per usual, plans we made wound up planning us and made me upset prior our ceremony. This album, played by my groomsman while we got ready and brought me down to a healthy, happy level. Thank you for this album.
Hope everything is going well for you man, plans truly love to plan ourselves...never a pleasant situation to be faced with, especially in very important moments. But again, hope all is well!

I have to say normally I find one or two songs on every album I hear that I don't like, but for this album it's one of the rare occurrences that I actually like all the songs on it. You guys did a great job with this one
Halfway through Graveseekers. And well, to say the least, I'm so in love with this so far. It's heavy. It's beautiful. Its epic. The structure of each song. The lyrics. Thank God you guys are musicians. I'm so impressed with this album. You never fail to surprise your listeners. This is my favorite album of the year. This is a gift! Thank you!!!

Such a beautiful album
Ive been given some motivation by Jordan, and I wanted to give my interpretation of each song on the album and what I believe it's describing. Again, these are my own opinions and interpretations, so if you have any other comments or ideas please feel free to share.
To start, this album is a concept album detailing the events that transpire in the Book Of Revelation. I'm sure some have already realized that. If not, I strongly encourage you to read this book (and the whole Bible for that matter) to fully understand everything. You will be shocked to see how many things are described and the warning signs that signal the events sung about in this album.
Shades Of The Future - The opening track I believe is regarding the revelation that John recieves from God. It crushes him to see so many people in war, calamity, and masses in blasphemous states. This terrifies him, as it would any one of us. He wants to save them so he cries out to God screaming "Lend me your strength to proclaim this song." In the hopes that his warning will save as many souls as possible before God's wrath begins.
The False Soverign - The follow up song as I understand it is regarding the beginning of the vision and the opening of the first seal. Where the Antichrist is revealed and people begin to take the Mark Of the Beast. "A soul from the abyss" symbolic of the Beast rising from the ocean. "And a walking corpse" symbolic of the animated corpse of the Antichrist that Lucifer ends up possessing. The Devil, or False Sovereign, issues orders to his hypnotized minions by bringing chaos and sorrow to any would not take his mark. He orders them to "betray the breath in their lungs and decay the life inside too." Thus making them an enemy of The Lord and of the sleepers (believers).
Plagueview - This song is representative of the second, third and fourth seals opening, signaling War, Pestilence and Death. This is from the perspective of the ones who try to flee from the Devil. The lost and damned stop at nothing to behead the believers and through their eyes they see nothing but decay and suffering. They have, in a very literal sense, a Plagueview. "Even now with destitution and retribution you can't even see." They are blinded from any type of goodness because by taking this mark they have elected to remain permanently seperated God, who is all good. Of their own volition and through their hollowed eyes, they purge and desecrate the Earth of those who will not conform to Lucifer's laws.
Blood Of The Martyrs - I believe this is during the opening of the fifth seal where the believers are persecuted like never seen before. This song is through the viewpoint of those on the opposite end who refuse the mark and defy Lucifer. Some of these people, both Jew and Gentile, have to flee from the persecution of the Devil and his minions. But most will gladly accept death for Christ. "You will not convince me, save your breath and take my life. For the crime of speaking truth extinguish my voice for spite." Thus making them martyrs for Christ who, along with martyrs from all previous generations arise during the opening of the fifth seal.
Wormwood - Many Christians probably dont know this, but Wormwood is the name of an angel who comes down during the time of the sixth seal and taints the waters bitter. The next seal removed "A bitter gate thrown wide" is of celestial catastrophies that breaks the Earth and corrupts the people in it with earthquakes and fire. One of my favorite lines of this song is "Calamity won't bring the transformation. Further proves the hearts of man are depraved." I think what this means is that the chaos ensueing will not be enough to change people's hearts to God. Which indicates that these poor souls have truly chosen to be without God. There are elements of the sixth seal spread throughout this song with references to false gods and stars falling to the Earth. At that point, people will be trying to die out of fear, which leads perfectly into the next song...
Graveseekers -As the name suggests, it's detailing the time that people will be so scared and in despair of what is happening around them that they will seek death but be unable to find it. And there will be no reason for remorse for them because they willingly chose the wrong side. "When they jump they never hit the ground. When they pull the trigger bullets won't come out." They had been given every opportunity to follow Christ, but fled from Him in defiance every step of the way. "When signs were given and warnings made your ears stayed shut. When nightmares came and tortured you, you wouldn't shut up"
Unmask The Enemy- I have interpeted this song to be about the city of Babylon and the vile within. This is prophecized to be the cursed city that God will smite during the end times for the unspeakable things the people did within her walls. "What horrors did man perform inside this place? For in a single hour it has been laid to waste" It is always reffered to as "she" and it is where all the evil heretics of the world reside, and in my opinion, is most likely the city of Rome.
Acts Of Treachery - The most brutal song on the album and a good representation that God has finally had enough and the seventh seal is opened, pouring out God's divine wrath. All the people who betrayed His love, declined His sacrifice, took the mark of the beast, and brought wrath in defiance of Him, even threw away the life that He has given them are at one place where He comes to end them. "I gave you every chance and prevented you from stumbling, your time has come to end." It is said that people will desperatly try to hide themselves from God, but nothing will be able to keep them from His sight. This is where God finally brings judgement to the wicked.
Feed The Fire -The last moments of the end times, every knee bows before God as they acknowledge that He is truly the Great I Am and all the people who waged war against Him, or who had doubts all their life and never made that step into accepting Christ march to their deaths and sink into the lake of fire, feeding it's flames. "Bow in terror as the sky is split. You see the starts depart and melt away." The first verse is taken from someone who made it through till the end without taking the mark, most likely John himself. "You've taken everything they held for granted. And i never took the mark despite their ranting."
Harbinger - The vision finally ends and John is left in a trembled state. God tells him "Now you've seen, now you've seen. Now you've heard, now you've heard. And now you understand, why your hand musn't falter." He must write down every single thing he has seen just as he has seen it, because if the world doesnt hear this warning then so many people will end up unsaved. Making John the "Harbinger" of the end.
All in all I think this is a fantastic album, very much my favorite of their releases. I love the subject matter and I think it's important for everyone to listen to. Keep it up Seraphim! \m/
