  • In A Farm Together Tour I bring you through
all the points of interest in my River Acres Farm
    in Farm Together.
River Acres is my second farm and it took more than
6 months to build. There's still a few more places to
add, but this Tour shows you everything you need to know.
In this video I show you my map as well as my
Halloween Farm House, Ski Resort, Santa's House,
Flower Gardens, Pirate Ship, Leaning Tower of Piza,
French Chateau, Love Shack, Castle, and animals,
including my Unicorns and all the various Arcane and
    Flame Horses.
Farm Together is on Steam and has lots of Events
through the year to allow you to acquire more plants,
buildings, decorations, pets, tractors and avatar skin
    costumes.
I've purchased all the available packs so that I have
    all the available DLC.

This is what I've been playing before Fortnite every day. I love decorating, but there's plenty of work during the first year. You have to go through all the year's Events to gain all the content that can be gotten through working the Events enitrely. I am done with all the Events except the one I missed in August.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed. I saw you suggested to someone else about accepting friends to help with the farm.
This can be nice once you get to know some people, but the game does warn you about giving too much permission to players you don't know.
The most insecure permission allows for others to actually destroy your builds, so be careful.
I set mine so players could harvest and plant, but not feed animals, as feed takes a ton of money and I prefer to just harvest them when a quest calls for it.
I found most new farmers prefer to be quiet and just work and not chat much.
Super rich farms usually expect you to come and harvest the quest items but it's etiquette to ask when first meeting them, and sign in everyone's Guest Book. It's nice to know someone came in to see or look.
You get a time benefit for helping others harvest, when you go back to your own farm, you get more money per harvest and more items per harvest for a short time.
It's polite to plow the ground after harvesting so they can replant for others much quicker. Even though plowing doesn't give you a time credit I don't think.
As soon as you get to a certain level, you can start a second, third, etc farm.
This is useful for planting Event Quest items, which takes time to harvest and you can't always find enough completed or prosperous farms that offer enough Event items to harvest.
If you play on Steam, Steam gives you a friend list and tells you if your friends are in game.

Lovely, thank you for the tour! Definitely inspiring. I'm a month into my first farm, I recycled somewhere midway through because I wanted to reorganize and it was such a mess. I'm wanting to focus more on decoration and making it a lovely place to be but I've been so caught up in gathering as much as I can in coins/diamonds/medals I've been running around like a headless chicken and not taken the time to enjoy it. I'm taking a break today and hope to come back with a more relaxed attitude and take more time making it a lovely place.

Hi, Karin. Yes, the events make playing hectic, but they give you quite awhile to complete them. Decorating is fun, and takes a lot of focus. Good luck!

I played this when i first got the game non stop, i have many things. But sadly i have no friends to play with. Also i need to relearn how to label my map for crops that are being grown and such… fish ect…. Love some play companions…

    • @Marylogical
      @Marylogical  Před 2 lety

When you open your map, you'll see little pictures show up overlayed on your crops that tell you what plants are planted there. As for the fish, some overlay pics are recognizable, some are not.
If you are in game you can plant a sign in front of any crop or fish are and label it with the picture of what sort of crop you want planted there at all times.
As for making friends in game, you can right click on a person's name in a farm you visit and favorite them. They will show up on your "Look for Farms" list when you look for farms, If They Are Online at the same time.

Hi, just a suggestion, you can adjust your farm settings to allow other players to join on your farm as farm hands & they can help you work your farm, so you don't have to do it alone. Enjoy gaming ,I am addicted to this game too! Have fun! 😊💜💕

  • @veronicawilliamson8392

Hi i started my game this may. I have 4 farms. I cant get them the way i want so im always recycling them. Im not a decorative person. I just put stuff wherever. But iam having fun.

@@veronicawilliamson8392 hi Veronica. It takes awhile to get the farms started. I only have the two farms so far but start sorta in the middle and build outward is what I do. Being messy at the start, and rearranging everything later once I get all the plots owned. I usually invest heavily in rubber trees and reinvest in them until I am able to buy up all the plots as I go.
I let people visit and harvest but I don't let them feed my animals because it's way too expensive. But now that you have several farms anyways, it's good to use them during the major quest Events. You're allowed to plant and harvest plants, fish, whatever, on every farm so you should be able to get the Events faster than waiting for huge farms to help you.
You can go to huge rich farms that still participate in the Events and harvest event items, but it's polite to replant anything you're allowed to. Some people don't like to take time to replace but it's polite to do it. Cheers
