Imagine being the company that makes a flower vase so strong you can drop a cinder block on it and the cinder block breaks. Darn thing must be made by Nokia.
Should be making vehicle frames out of that sht. Imagine your car just bounces instead of crumple zones 😂
Ntm the power to weight ratio would give fantastic range on EVs
its called high density plastics. im surprised he just found out about it.
Cinder Blocks are not that strong.
@@clipsedrag13 One problem with that is even if the structure remained intact, that rapid change in direction as the vehicle bounces back would be about the most dangerous scenario possible as far as passenger safety is concerned. Imagine going from, say, 60 MPH forwards to nearly 60 MPH in reverse in a tiny fraction of a second! That would likely be worse than the body being totally rigid, which is already a big no no and would result in serious injuries even at low speeds.
@@clipsedrag13 Crumple zones exist for a reason, as the saying goes it's not the fall that kills you. it's the stop. that's why you need to decelerate not have an indestructible car.
"Sounds almost like crystal or something"
*The cheapest sounding plastic ever*
Thought the exact same thing 😂
Yeah, but did it break? LOL
@arlenebrooks5163 are u a r3t4rd😮😢
I came here to say that. lol
@@Tearshia i came here to see someone making this comment because that's what I thought too lol
I like how Tyler spends at least 5 minutes on one plasticky vase solely out of spite and still loses. That is an unbreakable product right there.
I’m always having issues with my cinderblocks falling on my vases and breaking them glad to see science has finally caught up with my needs
I mean, it's a polycarbonate vase. You could legitimately park a truck on that thing and it likely wouldn't even bend. They make bulletproof glass out of polycarbonate and the moment he threw it at the ground and it made that sound and bounced like that, after he claimed it felt and looked like glass? That's polycarbonate. It looks and sounds and reacts like that. Incredible stuff.
@@TheRealMinotaur667that’s what Apple should make their phones out of.
Tyler: Testing unbreakable things
Also, Tyler: "These things aren't breaking like they should."
Yeh it always surprises me how stupid this guy is, unbreakable under normal use is probably what the company had in mind, I mean who's guna be hitting a small bowl with an axe or throwing them on the floor as hard as they can?
Me: "Of course, you're not using a hammer"
Tyler: pulls out the fucking warhammer.
Well it's called unbreakable for a reason
In this video: Tyler learns that "unbreakable" and "shatterproof" are subtle yet differently defined from "invincible"
Inconceivable.
Incredible
I'm incredulous
Unbreakable is interchangeable with invincible. Unbreakable literally means it is impossible to break it in any way.
lol imagine Tyler’s neighbor starting a CZcams channel that just films Tyler through his garage window at 2am in a white lab coat. No audio, just some crazy dude punching lightbulbs.
no i want the audio too. i want the barely muffled sounds of the vase bonking against the floor
podcast by his downstairs neighbour
cool. now imagine your mum. naked. whip in hand. breaking tyler, as he cries and whimpers 'stop stop'...
I don’t even need a vase, but I’m so impressed by the absolute resilience of that thing, I’m going to find it
The link is in the description
i may use it as a glass cuz i always break glasses by acident😂 i missed the table a couple of times and they just break into shards
Nah, that glass will find YOU
That vase deserves a special place in Tyler’s collection of items.
Tyler always stays safe with his safety glasses, shorts and flipflopps
Don't forget the socks, the socks make it safe!
No, he stayed safe because he’s the cameraman
Safety sockets and Tactical flip-flops are the 101 of safety =)
Atleast he has his priorities straight id rather be missing a toe than an eye but still shoes arent hard to put on to save a toe 😂😂
He needs a medieval suit of armor, motorcycle racesuit, or that Mythbusters shield. Like Project Farm, I'm so worried about a test taking him one day.
My favorite part of this video is how he got humbled by the vase right away so whenever anything else breaks he gets so excited 😭
Imagine discovering the most indescribable material in the world and you decide to do vases with it 😂
the most indescribable material would probably be dark matter
It’s polycarbonate, it’s sort of bendy so instead of shattering it sorta just bends in and out from blunt impacts, which is why the war hammer poked a hole in it since it was sharp
@@avgredditmodif you mean indestructible then its nuclear pasta which is at the core of a neutron star
If you meant indescribable then indeed
Don't complain later if you keep breaking plates and vases and don't have money to buy more and you don't find these 😂😂
@@thatdamncrow9197 yea op said indescribable so i gave him his answer :3
I like how he gets progressively angrier when the thing that that claims to be indestructible does not get destroyed easily.
😂😂😂
Tyler in a nutshell
Paradox from YGO
Which is why we absolutely LOVE Tyler
I agree that they should instead be advertising it as "Break-Resistant", but I also don't think they're rating these things to be going up against war hammers, battle axes, high powered slingshot rifles, and the full creativity of the warranty voider. The fact that most of them lasted THIS long under that much torture speaks volumes of their durability lmao. For normal, everyday households, those things are going to last lifetimes considering the worst those things will face is maybe an 8' drop from an upper kitchen cabinet.
tbh I can see why they say unbreakable since under normal use cases ( falling from desk/chest height) it is unbreakable. Sayinf accident resistant can backfire and imply that it will only take a few accidents before it breaks.
It's the same thing as saying bullet/fireproof vs resistant. Resistance doesn't instill much confidence. I don't want it to resist the bullet. I want it to stop. And it will stop at least one.
Unbreakable and indestructible are also very different standards.
@@atk9989they are not its the same word lol
honestly plastic is a lot sturdier than people give it credit for, the thing is that a lot of cheap plastic does degrade with time rather quickly
also it's kind of dishonest to advertise plastic as being "shatter proof" which implies that it's glass, because duh, plastic doesnt shatter
@@FantasmaNaranjaDepends on which plastic we're talking about exactly. There's plastic that shatters, too.
I wouldn't call it dishonest, unless it's listed as being made out of glass.
I actually cannot believe the vase ended up _breaking the cinder block_ lmao
That is wild!
To be fair, my 5 month old puppy breaks cinder blocks with ease. They're surprisingly easy to break. I've broken quite a few on accident. They don't stand up to being dropped on a hard surface at all.
Breaking the arrow was much more impressive
@@Nylak-Otter youtube commenter try not to lie challenge (impossible)
@@avgredditmod It's 100% true. They're flimsy as all get-out. My puppy wouldn't stop flipping her water bucket that I kept for her when she's outdoors, so I put two cinder blocks in a large dish to weigh it down. She flipped the dish and the cinder blocks, and both blocks broke. I've broken them by accidentally dropping them on cement.
Try it.
The problem with cinder block are that they’re incredibly porous so any hard impact has potential to shatter them
Tyler chasing that vase like a toddler chasing a bouncy ball had me cracking up.
I think the vase deserves to live as the new gold standard of Tyler proof.
I 2nd
Zero sad onions
Agreed
It ain't me proof
It’s made of polycarbonate, of course it won’t break easily at all
I've always taken the "unbreakable" label to mean it won't break from you dropping it. Like kid proof essentially. Props to that vase for sticking to the literal definition. I thought for sure the warhammer spike was going to go straight through it.
it would be completely fair to just scale down the claims and say "accident/drop proof"
@@barrothontherocks3325i agree like the first set of wine glasses in a pratical use of them they do there job of not breaking
@@barrothontherocks3325 tbh I can see why they say unbreakable since under normal use cases ( falling from desk/chest height) it is unbreakable. Sayinf accident resistant can backfire and imply that it will only take a few accidents before it breaks.

@@crazedmonk8u overpromising can be pretty dangerous though, maybe not as much when it comes to a vase or wine glass compared to a bulletproof vest but still, plus legit bulletproof/fireproof things have ratings on a scale not just "stops it all"
Yes definitely unbreakable but not undestroyable 🙃
The deep seated primal caveman energy given off over the vase was great. I couldn't stop laughing.
A man breaking stuff in his shed at the ass crack of dawn with his only protection being a hat and some safety goggles is the most southern dad thing I can think of other
Tyler needs a mannequin made out of the same material as that vase.
Uhhhh, what would you be doing with this mannequin?? 🤔 I guess it could stand up to repeated penetrations?
Most of them are made of plastic
@@moomeyo_o let it happen
The Amazon listing says it's made from acrylic which is a very strong kind of plastic.
Yeah that would b amazing 4 him id actually love 2 C that if that wore possible.
I love how Tyler is concerned about the loud noise of the vase hitting the floor because it is 2am, and the proceeds to make more noise then a building site 😂
Imagine living nextdoor 😂
*Tylertube testing indestructible things at 2 am but you live next door ASMR*
Than
even my upstairs neighbor wouldn't dare be that loud
Honestly the safety glasses were pretty impressive. The actual glass part seemed to deflect the axe which is a pretty good sign that they will protect your eyes
looked like a fine pair to me, if they fit over normal glasses comfortably i’m sold
If this is an ad for that unbreakable vase, I enjoyed every second of it and would buy one.
I think the vase totally passed the unbreakable test. Especially since under normal use, it would only get knocked over or dropped.
agreed. i think it has earned its place in the kitchen window... or wherever he would keep his plants :D

Tyler trying to break "unbreakable" items at 2am... I bet his neighbors love him.
I bet his family also loves him
Bro that vase deserves the best Amazon review from you that it could possibly get.
Some people joke about their neighbors hammering away at random objects in the early morning hours, but _your_ neighbors have the privilege of experiencing the real deal!
Oh, I just looked at the listing for that vase. No wonder it wouldn't break; it's made out of polycarbonate. Y'know, like safety glass lenses. That stuff's absurdly impact-resistant, and with how thick that vase looked, it could probably stop small bullets.

Yeah at 2 AM and this , him and I would have a talk for sure. Glade I am not his neighbor. LOVE THE CONTENT THOUGH LOL
Can tell by the language most of you live in rowhomes or neighborhoods, many of us don't have neighbors or don't have them close enough to hear any of that lol.
Screw cinder blocks, let's start building with unbreakable plastic vases.
Hi Tyler, been subscribed for the past 5 years, haven’t watched in a while since real life has got in the way a little. It makes me happy to see all the success and growth your channel has had over this time and also how you haven’t changed at all, still the same happy, funny Tyler I remember. Love you man! ❤️
That vase is made of polycarbonate is extremely durable, especially when it's that thick. That's the stuff they make blast shields and safety glasses out of so no wonder it didn't break.
Though I imagine if you put any kind of solvent into it it would turn into goo pretty quickly, that's one of the weaknesses of PC
Next video: solvents!
I had the same idea to an extent. I don't know anything about that material but it looks like something that could be dissolved with the correct chemicals. But I have no real idea
Put the vase in a vice. It will break.
@@GamingWithNikolasMost things can be dissolved with the right chemicals.
But again, it's not advertised as unmeltable or undisolvable.
I love how Tyler is wearing safety glasses, but then sandals and socks!
And shorts! Very safety forward.
sounds like your average indian server LMAO
come on they are certified GANG sliders and socks for full protection against cold and protecting the soles of your feet.
you only have 2 eye but you have 10 toes
Safety first, women are dangerous creatures 😂
The final boss for the vase definitely has to be you driving over it in your truck like they do in the "unbreakable flashlight" commercials.
Omg, dude. You've had some funny stuff on here, but this one literally had me in tears. Ty and the Indestructible Cylinder!
😂😂😂😂
I feel like this video is going to be Tyler being shocked by how far modern polymers have come.
Conclusion: You were correct.
My thoughts, exactly.
To be fair, I'm shocked... actually I'm more surpsired at some what accurate marketing claims.
This 😂
I could see basic polycarbonate being this durable at that thickness tbh.
Tyler was definitely giving cat energy with the string lights lol. Loved this vid. UV and heat should damage the vase since it’s polycarbonate. Should be fun testing out new techniques to destroy the vase.
Add some of those bulb lights in your garage once in a while eh 😍. It added a much needed ambiance to the video as myself am watching at 2am
I so much want to see a sequel, where you try to break the vase 😂 That thing is amazing 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I absolutely died laughing when the cinderblock broke
Ditto 😂😂😂
Why? Cinder Blocks are not that strong.
@@arklainquirk pretty sure it's because a VASE broke it. 😑 Sheesh
@@Ohwhale79 thank you!!!!
@@arklainquirk -.-
That vase is stronger than my emotional stability.
"Hey , so what do you do when you can't sleep at night?"
"Me!? Uh I play basketball with my vase"
“I’m wondering if over time it’ll crack” the immediate break coupled with an ad to perfectly cut it was hilarious
For the safety glasses, it's the lenses that they are probably talking about being shatterproof. Also with the lights, yes the plastic shell broke but it did not shatter.
Try putting the vase in a vice.
Seconding vice. I wanna see if it'll resist a bench clamp
Tyler slapping that light like it owed him money was epic.
THIS STUFF NEEDS TO BE IN THE ARMY AS BULLETPROOF ARMOURRRRRR
In the case of the vase I’m pretty sure it’s made of some of the materials of bulletproof glass so
LMAOOOOO the flower vase dun broke him XD
Tyler, "This video is NOT going the way I expected it to." Like THAT'S something new.🤣
I am so happy for Tyler. I remember watching all his glue testing videos. He has come such a long way without losing his chatic charm. But he certainly feels more comfortable in front of the camera now.
Agreed, I'm also here from his glue videos. He has definitely come a long way from testing super glue.
@@GamingWithNikolasI'm in the same boat as you guys. I always find myself coming back to the channel every few months :). If only CZcams would keep recommending him to me!
I was impressed with all of them. Nothing is truly indestructible. Any reasonable amount of force in there intended settings would not break them. The lights and the wine glass would be the most useful for me. It’s already a travesty when you spill a good red but cleaning up the glass just adds insult to injury. A+
2:00 am
“Hun, hun, someone breaking in!”
“W-what?….” “Go to bed, it’s just the weird neighbor.”
Im a grown ass man with kids watching another man try and break shit. Im perfectly okay with this.
I'm getting Christmas ideas for my 6yo son. It's fun for him to drink out of fancy glasses so those unbreakable champagne glasses look promising.
Me too bro 🤜🤛
So
I love the fact that these are obviously meant to be unbreakable under normal usage, but Tyler just runs in and starts bending the shiz out of his wine glasses and safety glasses
Oh look, I broke this wine glass in a failure mode that would never reasonably happen in real life!
@@KirkNorthrop Okay, listen... I have ADHD and when I get bored, I play around with stuff to stim. If it says unbreakable, that is a license to f*ck around as much as I want to. That wine glass would not survive for longer than 90 seconds in my hands.

They need to make cars out of that flower vase material!
You came in wanting to break shit. You ended up being an accidental ad that these products didn't even know they needed lol.
I think whats meant by "unbreakable" is that these products will not break under the same circumstances as the typical materials would. Realistically they would be unbreakable under normal use compared to the common material.
Exactly
WAIT !!! You dont hammer your plans every second Day?
It truly feels like these items personally hurt Tyler in some way
Yes I could feel the anger radiating off him through the video 🤣
With Tylers choice of safety shoes, I guarantee one day He will be in crutches.
That vase clearly did hit him in the leg, so yeah....
I've never ducked infront of my computer screen before, but you firing that ball bearing rail gun made me hide under my desk. You never cease to amaze, entertain and scare the hell out of me. We need a national Tyler Tube T.V. show.
Ah yes, the age old cutlery set of the pickaxe and hammer. Best way to eat your meal in my opinion.
remember for Tyler to say "unbreakable" the object needs to be 100% industructable
I'm waiting for the 2050 videos where he's launching things into the sun. "It broke from a little bit of heat."
I want a car made out of the same stuff that vase is made from 😂
Carbon fiber is even stronger. Plastic is very strong, especially in that form
Not me. We would just end up as hamburger meat inside of it.
You don't. After 1 year if driving\parking in direct sunlight, it will become very fragile.
@@mattephoto6850i feel carbon fibre would of faired worse under the axe test. Any carbon fibre of come into contact coukd really take a blow like that. Csrbon fibre is definitely farm more rigid so will shatter essentially.

That vase manufacturer ought to be proud. It took abuse from gravity, a cinder block and a crossbow.
Whether he ends up breaking the vase or not, I would say they made one heck of a durable vase. XD
I wonder if driving a truck over it would break that vase? High impact doesn't seem to do anything, but maybe slow & heavy blunt force pressure from being driven over would... Not gonna lie, that thing is impressive!
Im sure its not bulletproof xD
@@derbabo8455 The polycarbonate vase genuinely may stop a .22 round. Maybe not through one side, but there's a pretty decent chance it would stop on the second half.

INSANE.
Honestly I think he's better than he used to be, I only worry for his safety in every other video now rather than every video haha.
This was an especially bad one though lol, when he was so worried about that slingshot ball bouncing off that glass and hitting him. Then to see him pull out a goddamn crossbow on that vase I was like "no Tyler what are you doing?!" lmao.

the third product, the white melamine bowls, are the same material as the plates we use at work. I've dropped a few of those on their edge and they chip and turn into basically saw blades, they get pretty sharp

"everything we do today will be scientific" proceeds to grab anything he can find in his garage to hit things with lmao, excellent video
the lights being shatterproof are nice cuz people hang them over outdoor eating areas and such and when the wind blows the glass bulbs can hit a beam there next to and break into peoples food ect so its nice having them not shatter even if they break by being smacked around by the wind outside.
We have them all around the fence in our backyard. Theyve made it through 4 hurricanes so far.

I'm pretty sure that "unbreakable" means that in won't break in normal usage and more resistant to breakage in harder circumstances but not in situations with clear intent of breaking it.
if something IS "unbreakable", you need to have certification decal, Tyler tested

Disguise it as a “breaking ‘unbreakable’ objects” video, but it’s just a hidden infomercial about a vase
i love how he sees the word unbreakable and goes 'and i took that personally'. like my guy in all fairness to the manufacturers, they probably didn't stress test a grown man slamming a plate with a hammer 😂
I just watched a grown man use a light bulb as a punching bag, and I'm not even mad about it 😂

That vase is completely indestructible. Even the warhammer could only pierce it a little bit.
The hero all vases of the world needed.
I thought there was no way dropping a block on the first product would not break it. Wonder if it is made out of the same stuff that those big fish tanks are made out of. Or maybe some kinda special space plastic. LOL It would defiantly stand up to normal usage in a home.
I know, he litteraly dropped a full block on it and it bounced the block away like that flower pot had a force field around it.
