You should try some carbon Greece on stem it as grit init so gives it something to bite to or just don't keep falling off 😜

What's your opinion on the ohlins rear shock, quite like the look of one myself?

Robbie Mackay fantastic, but would rather the EXT or whatever it's called, as it has an air ramp up chamber

Thx for review, I was wondering about this stem, but I like Renthal apex, I guess Assembly compound could help a bit, but it seems like there might be an engineering or machining mistake, seems like you got a gap there, so they aren't bottoming out so maybe it's not 100% accurate machining, maybe its not fitting tight enough, so even if clamped properly it's not having enough clamping force, mabye hte bolts are junk, and when you tighten them they get squeezed, a proper stem should stay secured well for many months, which Renthal does, but there might be other stems that work as good, I haven't tested many stems.
have you tried multiple stems or was it just a single stem you tested?
It would be interesting to test how long stems hold on to the bars, without bolts getting loose & bars twisting, and having to check bolts very often, so Far only stem I have tried that does the job is Renthal apex.
here my review of the Apex stem: wp.me/p60aTF-2t5
as for pedals the only pedal to get is Catalyst pedals, cus of stability, & mid foot position the only pedals that make sense, at least for adult feet. have you tried them? I am sure you will love them if you do.
Renthal stem holds on to the bar & steerer tube for long time, very secure, I tired Race Face Atlas but bolts loosened fast, Loctite was gone, the usual thing with most all Bontrager stems I used.
I haven't tried any Burgtec stuff.

Holy shit, that's a lot of writing! As a long term bike tester I have tried loads of stems, Rental are good, but without greece on bolts they creek. Currently testing a Pace UK made stem 🤘

I haven't experienced any creaks, I use Loctite 243 on all threads that make sense to have it on, I always use it on stems, no creaks, I don't know if you use it or not, but I never use bare bolts, always Loctite 243, I see how not using anything would make creaks.
I haven't seen anything about the Pace stem yet.
