This was such an invaluable resource. Thank you so much dude.
Happy to help 🤘
Just bought 2 Rolls, cannot wait to see the build done! Thanks for providing quality content, and details into the builds.
Here for you every step of the way brotha, don't hesitate to ask
Was very happy to see you did the Black Ranger helmet, hands down the first helmet I wanted to own as a kid, these guys were so cool and he was my favorite Zack still is
Had to! Gonna try and meet him at Awesomecon this year in D.C
@@SaturdayMorningProps heck yeah! I hope he comes to a local con for me especially since he's from my home state.
This is a dream project for me! Thank you for sharing your process 🔥🔥🔥
Super happy to help
This is so cool man! Keep up the great content. I’m locked in your channel, I’m enjoying all your builds!
Thanks so much! Definitely love doing them 🤘🏼
This is really cool! You’re an amazing artist!
Thanks so much!
Awesome work buddy! That came out amazing! Keep up the great work!
Yo! Thanks brotha
Let's go! Very nice brother
You're the man scott for real!
I just started with my 1st print. Made mew from Pokémon for my gf. Voxelab aquila 2 is my new printer. I'm going to try my hand at the power rangers collection once I'm more confident. Thank you for posting content to help me learn.
I want to do those buff pokemon statues at some point 🤣 definitely happy to help!
OMG, I always wanted this! Awesome work!
Thanks so much for the support!
I have a black ranger primed and drying. Thank you for your videos
Heck yeah 🙌🏻🤘🏼🖤
yeah!!! keep posting vids. Love the content!
Nice brotha man!!! Let’s go!!! ❤🎉
Collection is coming along!
Amazing video, keep them coming! I am getting a 3D printer to print my own helmets soon and these are gonna be so helpful. Question, have you ever thought about putting links in the description to all the different materials you use? The types of spray paints or resins you've found to be the best would be helpful for novices like me as a stepping stone. Anyways, amazing work! Hope yo see more
I'll start to add that for sure 🤘🏼 thanks for the compliment and suggestion. If you have any detailed questions feel free to dm me on Instagram or discord 👍🏻
Looks amazing, so mad they haven't released a retail version yet. Yours looks better than screen accurate.
I'm sure lightning collections will be awesome as well! Thanks for the compliment!
Omg I really want to try and make a helmet!
You can do it 🤘🏼
Awesome work. I would love to see a Necromonicon replica , love the Evil Dead series
Thomas thanks so much for always supporting man, that would be an AWESOME series to watch this month may have to do horror helmets planned for October next year!
@@SaturdayMorningProps Ah that is such a good idea! I'm a huge horror fan so that is definitely up my alley! And NP at all man, I enjoy seeing what you make.
If this guy was a friend of yours… image the Halloween costumes you could be wearing!!!!
🤣 thanks Q glad to see your flight made it safe 🤘🏼
Might have been less work to do custom supports or prusa paint on supports vs adding in a bunch of support blockers
I've actually just switched to adding all my own supports
Just found you on CZcams. Building a Red Ranger in Space helmet right now. Can you explain the elastic hinge system you used on the black ranger helmet? I am looking for more clarity on the elastic bands and how they work in opening and closing the helmet. Thanks bro. You're stuff is pure gold!
Thanks for the compliments, the hinge is just two pieces of elastic on the top spread out maybe 4 inches hot glued in to the front and back, the elastic keeps it tight together while also being stretchy for putting it on
@@SaturdayMorningProps cool man, so elastic bands hold the top together and the metal clasps hold the sides together? Anything else in that hinge system?
@@murdamylow nope just that, I'd imagine your in space would have a ring of magnets instead of clamps though right?
Will you do MMPR Green? I'm getting a helmet printed for me and would love to learn how to properly paint it.
yup almost finished the green build now should be just a few days
Cool job!!
BTW it seems like the guy you took the 3D models from scanned the Hasbro toy and made that into a file.. there are some inconsistencies compared to the show but overall nice model
keep it up!
Definitely not perfect but I'm super happy with how it came out, looks awesome on the shelf
they look awesome men 🔥🔥..do you scale all helmets at 250 mm like if it's good looking size trying to make wilde force and ninja storm set's but don't know what size to print
So I actually don't have a measurement of what size they are, the white ranger at 100 percent was perfect size for me so often I'll load that helmet in and make sure they are the same size as that one so they look the same height on the shelf. The black ranger at 100 percent fit me but was extremely tight so I printed again like you're seeing in this video slightly above 100%
What bookshelf is that in your video? Can you link it? Love the display
It's an IKEA kallax 2*4 and also a 4*4
question about the sponge , are you using a sanding sponge or a normal sponge like for cleaning with sandpaper around it ? thanks
It's a sanding sponge, little bit denser then a normal sponge but I'm wrapping fresh sandpaper around it
Can you do a power rangers morpher and power coin tutorial video
I plan on modifying a pink lightning collection and once the weather gets warmer resin print Morphers and communicators for each helmet
video is really helpful man! i just purchased a 3d printed MMPR black helment and was looking to figure out how to exactly sand it and paint it , im really nervous on messing it up since i’m wearing it to a con , any tips ? thanks man great video
No more tips then really were in the video 🤣 feel free to join the discord and update as your build goes 🤘🏼
@@SaturdayMorningProps thanks for invite i’ll definitely keep the project updated , also how did you do the silver lines below the visor and above it , thanks !
@@trggamer4lyfe324 when I sprayed the mouth and horns I sprayed it then masked it with tape before doing the black
@@SaturdayMorningProps thanks man i appreciate it a lot!
Hi! I hit you up the other day about the riveter and you sent me here. I was wondering what size rivets you used for the buckles? I just picked up a set. Thanks!
I use the smallest that came with the hand rivoter, which was 3/32 by 1/4
@@SaturdayMorningProps Thanks again!
What kind of CR10-S are you using? I've been thinking about buying a new printer. Been using my ender3 for months now. love it. But it's a pain to slice and glue hella pieces just to get a helmet started. Also, check out sunlu filament. I buy directly from their website. You get great deals. I got like 9 rolls of PLA+ for like 12 bucks a roll with their halloween sale. before that iw as getting them for like 14-15 bucks. regular PLA is cheaper. way cheaper than amazon.
sorry im just seeing this comment, youtube didnt show me all of them, its just a regular cr10s and now i have bought two cr10 v2 printers that i got off of facebook marketplace
Thanks for the video! What was your process for doing the line around the visor? Just taping it off?
Yes it was actually super simple, in my blue ranger video i hand painted it, this time just taped it
@@SaturdayMorningProps I gotta get better at taping things off. Last time I tried I didn’t have the sharp lines I wanted.
@@Aidenn23 I just switched to 3m automotive tape had bad results with frog tape that everyone seems to use
I'm sorry if I missed this or if you've already answered, but what buckles did you use? I'm at this point now on my green ranger build and don't want to screw it up with the wrong latches.
Give me two mins to get you a link
and by two mins i mean 2 hours lol sorry amzn.to/3hsDkKM
Do you have any kind of ventilation on the ranger helmets you've made?
No there is enough gap between the neck hole, and also space between where the visor is hot glued in. Honestly breaths better and doesn't fog up as much as even the lightning collection helmets
Im doing this now but I'm having so much trouble in shaping the visor to the plastic. Any tips?
Start with the nose, I just did a video on the bat in the sun green ranger and I talk about that there
If there was a way to combine 3d printing for a power rangers motorcycle helmet that would be sick, I would totally commission that
My only thought would be to print the accent pieces like eyes and horns to epoxy on to a dot approved helmet then paint it
@@SaturdayMorningProps if you ever figure that out, it'd be a cool video and I would buy that instantly
What's your X, Y and Z setting? (I have Ender 3 printer) Every time I try to print the helmet the nozzle on the z axis bumps into the print and messes everything up. I've tried leveling the bed, I downloaded the z offset in cura and still run into the same problem
I have no idea what you mean x,y, z setting. I also don't use z offset or anything like that. I just used the stock printer setting for the cr10 or cr10s and have my bed leveled with the traditional paper method.
@@SaturdayMorningProps I can manually change the x y z axis on my printer. I thought maybe I could have set the settings in cura and print the helmets using the g code but I guess not.
@@marvc9048 not sure what you are even trying to set them to? Your printer should have three switches on it that when you home it, it clicks each of them and designates what home is. Then level your bed. You shouldn't have to be changing anything through cura.
@@SaturdayMorningProps ok thanks
@@marvc9048 hope it helps
Personally I'm going to stick to XTC-3D for resins
Haven't tried that myself seen a buddy use it and seems like less control then UV resin leaving drips and the price seemed steep. But if you like that's truly all that matters
@@SaturdayMorningProps helps to sand the surface beforehand
Can I buy 1?
are you in the US and if yes then definitely message me on instagram quest4nostalgia or join the discord🤙
Do you sell these?
I do, you can message me on Instagram or discord if you use that 👍🏻
Can you tell me what printer you use?
I have a creality cr10 v2 and a cr10s. These have been the best printers for me personally.
@@SaturdayMorningProps just watched another video that mentioned these specifically. Damn. Now I have another hobby to get into lol. Your helmets look amazing man! You inspired me.

How much do you charge for your commission yo
300 complete or 70 for a kit, 90 for a green Ranger cause it takes more time and materials

Have you ever seen the 1995 mighty Morphin Power Rangers the movie?
Of course, it's actually probably my favorite thing of all power rangers but the helmets in that movie are hideous 🤣
My favorite character in Power Rangers Hass to be Adam
I wish I had a 3-D printer
Those masks are too round in my opinion. They should be a bit longer
Correct these are the old versions of the do3d files, they are all completely updated. The mouths are better as well
