    That Ash module is so worth it, with 6sec stun she will unload 30 bullets on a stunned unit with S2. HUGE DPS boost

      Yeah but still really mid if she only deal serious damage to stunable mobs. They should make it so she could trigger the talent when the enemies are hit by CC in general.

      43% DPS increase is great. But in general she will deal more dmg to enemies she already dealt good damage against, but nothing to fight non-stunnable enemies

      @@qurt5101 If it can't be stunned, Ash was never going to be good in the first place, might as well take another sniper. It's better for her to lean into her niche.

      The increased stun duration also improve her helidrop abilites, previously unless have her at pot 5 (whale territory or really lucky to get those) u will need 4 sec after the stun wear off and able to using her s2. With the increase stun duratipn, it bought 2 sec for her to activate her s2, so she can safely throw another stun bomb and deal damage
      Oh and people seems to forget that marksman barely deal any damage to mid to high def, it doesnt need to be boss who have stun immune to have mid or high def, since many elite or even mob have pretty decent defense that marksman hate. And ash is probably one of the best marksman to deal with mid to high defense (especially since many elite dont even have stun immun and stun is really strong cc if it work)

    My ABSOLUTELY most favourite part of Ela is the fact that she doesn't in ANY WAY powercreep Dorothy and is used significantly different from her. You can use both of them at the same time and you won't be experiencing a repetitive gameplay since their playstyles are JUST THAT DIFFERENT. They're so distinct from each other that one might even call Ela an entirely separate archetype. Especially with this new module.
    Comparing the two of them is useless now and there's no more need for worry, my fellow Dorothy-lovers. We can safely use both because they are so unique from each other

      Pretty sure that Frost also has a focus on dealing damage alongside the mines too I think. Pretty solidly withing trapmaster territory based on that.

      My thoughts exactly! Not that I ever planned to stop using Dorothy (I ❤ her), but it's nice to know that using both is potentially viable

      man people forget ines exists and a lot skipped her for mumu, while here i am pulled for her and skipped mumu cause she is 1000% morth worth it imo, and boy do i tell you she is.
      I got lucky to get mumu on free rolls but she is just E0 lvl 50

      @@ouea5435It's probably 'cause he's been in the game from the start and, on top of being the only 6* for a long while with the ability (possibly the only operator period at launch, idk, was Tsukinogi in the game at the start?), he was considered an OP unit for the longest time, ensuring that his name and traits would stick in the minds of players even long after he arguably got powercrept. Hell, even now when I think of the ops I can use for invis reveal, my first thought is of SA even though I also have Ines and she is arguably much better for that purpose.

    Interesting they called Ela's module, Module Δ instead of Module X. So that mean Module Δ are cater towards that operator niches instead of the archetype in general like other module
    Because I don't see HG is willing to work around future trapmasters' talent just to give them this module

    Revealing invisible enemies in range is insane for them, especially when they stun enemies or attack multiple with their skills

    Bro Ela module is not bad, People dont read better, because, is not her only can deploy on melee tile, but her trap can be deploy on ranged tile, Ela playstyle different than Dorothy where she is just using trap for damage, while Ela focus on her self, one of downside is her trap cant be spam, bcoz we only get 1 trap per skill active, other than that, but if Hg make same style u will sure more compare on which better trapper

      It's unlikely the other trappers will get this module, as none of their traps can trigger on ranged tiles. I think that is also the reason why we get the diff between standard X/Y modules and the wackier delta modules

      This mod would be PERFECT for Dorothy s3, since the aoe would actually allow for a dmg increase through better and/or more placement

      @@haveachocobar More placement options would be nice indeed, though i'd miss the ability to crit with traps, maxed out dorothy (with passive stacked) critting will never not be funny to me

    I have neither a CN account nor *any* of these operators. I also don’t play R6S. Also, I haven’t seen footage of these modules in play, so this may age badly. I may be either too harsh or gentle on the modules below.
    Sentinel Defender Module X Trait: Good utility. Happy to see more ops with true sight than just SilverAsh and Ines.
    Jessica: Mobile Shield lasts even longer with this module. Decent stat buffs for better DPS and survival.
    Liskarm: Good boost to her defensive recovery skill cycling. The proc chance increase between Level 2 and 3 is huge (30%, essentially double). Missed opportunity to expand the range of her Talent though. I think, as an SP battery, having a range of only the 4 adjacent tiles is restrictive as hell.
    Blitz: DPS-oriented module. Pretty good +20% ATK against Stunned enemies and that’s it. Don’t have much else to say.

      Ela: There is more value in placing Ela’s mines on Ranged tiles than placing Ela herself on Melee ones (just get the white dance shoes in IS, bro); otherwise, good boost to her flexibility. Good +20% ATK boost to her damage too, with higher proc chance when she has no mines to deploy.
      Fuze: Ehh? Good survivability boost… against Physical damage only. Consider that both of his skills are ranged whereas Centurion Module X requires blocking enemies to deal more damage. However, in Arknights, offence is the best defence.
      Iana: I think this one’s all right for her Substitute. Good ATK and Fragile boost, and increased stealth removal duration. Not much else.

      Doc: Doc gets Instructor Module Y. *Why?*
      I think this is a module no one needs. The improvement to Doc’s Max HP is good, but as a *guard*, he only gets +35 ATK from his module. The increased DEF ignore isn’t that powerful. The boost to his damage and healing are paltry and the Module Trait is null if you have the black dance shoes in IS. Either deploy a real medic, or if you want a ranged tank, a Phalanx caster. The only real boon is Doc’s increased deployment flexibility with his S2, but when is that going to matter?
      Doc’s healing is down pat and all he lacks is damage. Overall, weakest module of this batch. Should’ve gotten Module X.

      Ash: Important Trait and Talent upgrades, leaning on her specialty of taking down Stunned enemies. Extends the Stun duration by 2 seconds and increases damage dealt against them by 10% (and another 10% against aerial enemies, which Marksmen prioritise), letting Ash get more hits on her targets with her S2. Not bad at all.
      Recommended Levels:
      Ela & Ash: Level 3.
      Jessica & Liskarm: Level 3.
      Iana: Level 3? (Maybe I overestimated her utility?)
      Blitz: Level 2+?
      Fuze: Can’t decide between Level 1 and 0.
      Doc: Level 0.

    Ela’s mod could be good on maps that don’t have or very limited ranged tiles
    Fuze talent seems like it was designed to counter the drones that drop bombs and that’s it

    Was waiting for this. Thank you for the Module preview. I will definitely get Jessicalter's module for sure. That stat increase alone is quite good.
    Ash's 2nd module is much better that +2 sec. stun alone will make use all her ammo instead of the usual what she is right now that stun duration isn't enough.
    so Trapmaster;s 2nd module just makes them deployable in melee tile and for trap to be placably in range tiles. Doesn't work for Dorothy sadly. Good to know.

      I think it works for dorothy s3 since the mine have cross shape explosion, it can affect the mine at range tiles, allowing more flexible and strategic mine placement for chain explosion

      Ela's module is Delta, similar to Ebenholz 3rd one. That means Delta Module is exclusive for an operator, so no Trapmaster 2nd module available yet.

      It's not Trapmaster second module, but Ela specifically.
      Arknights released Delta module initially with Ebenholz allowing him to deal fairly good consistent damage via Necrosis damage.
      Ela got the third module which is operator-specific for the base effect. We can still hope for Dorothy and all the other Trapmasters to have a good second module

    The way ash’s module is worded makes it look like it only applies on deploy and not during S2, which I hope isn’t the case

      Nah, it's not the case, no need for worry. S2 literally just reactivates this talent so her overall damage on S2 is boosted by a LOT

      No, Skill 2 also has this effect. Ash's skill 2 immediately trigger Talent 1 to throw flashbang, so her Skill 2 also got this buffs

      "Immediately trigger the first talent. Attack Interval is reduced significantly and increase ATK to 250% when attacking Stun targets" Ofc it does, that's what makes it so good, she got exactly what she needed except hp/def buff at the cost of atk.

    Truly a set of modules worth getting (for me at least)
    Since I want the whole rainbow team with modules, doc, fuze snd Iana seem nice
    Ela and Ash were a given since they're strong 6*
    Heck, even the sentinel module is pretty great for jessica and even more for liskarm

    Honestly, the patch overall is quite nice, and the only real loser is Fuze since he's not as great of a unit. Ash and to a lesser extent Ela are the main winners, as Ash gets a 42% DPS increase (although barely any DPH increase) and Ela gets a 23% DPS increase for S3.
    The sentinel modules are a nice niche, and both Liskarm and Blitz have strong upgrades - Liskarm gets a nice SP reduction for her skills and Blitz gets a shocking 25% DPS increase for S2. Jess2 makes the most out of the base effect with her changing ranges and ability to turn, but the upgrades help the least. Base effect gives her 10% more dps surprisingly, and while the upgrades do give the shield 10% more stats the shield is already quite tanky, so that one is if she doesn't get her shield.
    Iana gets a nice DPS increase with base and a nice Fragile extension with level 2, Doc at least can position better with the base effect to ensire S2 hits, but Fuze only really becomes more of a ranged tank, and we have Bena for that. Base effect isn't bad, but it's not fantastic either.

      Gotta skip her (just try pulling until you get a *6. But stop if you didn't get Jessica. She will return one day (or even spook you in another banner), while R6S might not).

    Seems like Ash is the winner here and still the only useful R6 member. Ela looks very disappointing overall, but if she got mod delta, that means Dorothy still has a chance to recieve something good in the future like the ability to place traps under mobs :inhales copium: Jessica and Liskarm mods are ok ig, but kinda boring.

      Im not someone that understand the character's usefulness much, could ya tell me what makes Ela disappointing? Is it her being basically a marksman sniper with some stuns? I wuz happy to hear that dorothy isn't just getting directly powercrept cuz Ela does something different to her, but what does make Ela dissapointing?

      @@jasminepie6045 S1 offers no dmg at all, and if you need an rng accuracy debuff for your ops to survive, you're clearly doing something wrong; S2 has atk recovery which automatically makes it below mid tier, and the only good thing it offers is stun, it's easier to just use someone like Ash instead; S3 (which looks like the only useful one) has worse fragile than Suzu/Gnosis, even though it has flexible range, also very long cycle time to recover her mines compared to Dorothy 12 secs. The ability to deploy her on melee tiles with module makes no sense as well, you don't want her there even with s2 def buff.
      So if you need a sniper with some CC utility, it's usually easier to just use Typhon or Ray instead who both do significantly more dmg on top of it. And unlike Ela, Ray doesn't even have module yet, imagine what she'd do with it.

      @@darkomihajlovski3135 Numbers alone aren't the problem, and even if you buff her dmg by ~20%, she still won't compete with meta dps. She looks like Swire alter atm - jack of all trades, and there are characters who can do what she does, but better. I may be wrong, but i think her best use rn is just to cancel s3 asap to get 2 fragile mines every 34 secs, heh.
      As for Typhon, i don't know who considered her mid - how can an almost unconditional 50-60% def ignore and map-wide boss tracking be mid? This was the case for Ray tbh who was seen like a Typhon sidegrade on release, but harder to use. Decent module can easily push her above since both her talents are good.

      @@ixplorer734 i agree she probably won't be top dps but once she has her mod and maxes her skills she won't be far off while having better cc to help the team
      typhon needed her module to give her the push for people to realize how nutty she is
      agreed on ray if her mod is on par with typhons she can definitely overtake her

    Besides Ela who is the clear winner, and Ash being able to fully utilize her Second skill fully now, this module patch is disappointing

      Disagree, the base sentinel effect is great and Liskarm has even faster skill cycles so she functions even better a defender.
