Mouse toggle not working on my 4k max please I need help thanks

Neither version work on my fire tv 4k... follow all the instructions, the newer version gives me an error and the older version stayed stuck in starting 😔

I have deleted and reinstalled the App three times.
Keeping get a “P1” error in the bottom left screen and the Mouse will not appear.

@@thrawn1598 This mouse app doesn't seem to work with the home screen but it works in individual apps. At least for me, and I also keep getting the P1 error. So, for the home
screen we appear stuck with the remote control.
Hello troypoint. You have been my absolute go to/mentor/hero on all things firestick/ fire tv. But I noticed since following this video that it now has a little caption under each one of the Ones to choose that it says "does not work for 2023 fire T. V's" in red lettering. I just got the tv yesterday, a brand new 2023 toshiba fire t v. I've never had a problem with mouse toggle in the past via you're instructions. But I see now you must have noticed that it's not working on these 2023 models. I tried any way and i'm still getting the p1 error And mouse toggle does not work for sure. I'm doing everything correctly like I have always while following your instructionsto the T. What should I do or when could we expect something for these 2023 model fire tv's?
I’ve tried this and mine still is not working, I double click the play button and just nothing happens
Go back in and turn dev options on and off and try again.

Try the earlier software below it. There are 2 versions of the software I had the same problem with the latest software so had to use the previous version. Is your stick like 2 yrs old?

Hello troypint I have a question about otg cable when it comes 4 k google tv my micro USB port doesn’t work at the back of my tv but hdmi does I wanted to know do I need my micro usb port to work have storage or do I just have to use the usb port that comes with the otg cable?

HELP!!!! Troy, I bought an Onn android streaming box and went through your recommended installations. While installing the mouse application I must have missed a step or something as my Onn is now useless. I will explain. I downloaded the mouse app and opened it up. I began my install following your. installation video. I got the green go ahead messages etc, my confirmation number etc. When I backed out of the install screen to test out the mouse, while I had a mouse there was no action button. In other words, I could hoover over an app or a command and click the center button and nothing would happen. Consequently after unplugging my Onn the only thing I can do on my screen is to move the cursor around the screen and that is pretty well it. I have no way to do a hard factory reset as I need to get to a command to do so. I hope I've explainned this well enough.
This also my problem now on my Xiaomi mi tv stick... I cant use the select button on my remote when i tried to open the apps no action at all and doesn't open.. even the settings and i cant also do factory settings because i cant even open the settings... Have you already fixed this problem sir?

Help me.. i mouse toggle my Xiaomi mi tv stick and after all the set up the select button on the middle circle of the remote control doesn't work... I can just navigate the cursor but i cant select some apps to open even the setting and it also has some message D PAD MODE...SCROLL MODE... MOUSE MODE ... can you please help me to fix it... Plz sir

Correct, hopefully we get an update soon that will fix this problem. Please note that this video was created prior to the new Firesticks being released.

I got a 4K firestick and when a movie on CZcams has CC not in English I prefer to use desktop so I can select auto translate in to English but there is no scroll bar it’s just stuck on letter A languages. I got lucky once there was a scroll bar and then the next try it disappeared.
When holding select button it fast forwards or rewinds

Ahh, doesn't work at all, tried 2 versions, one just gets stuck and freezes completely, another gives me an error and won't work. There isn't much else I can do, it's really outdated by now, doesn't work in 2023

Please see note in toolbox that tells you to uninstall the new version of Mouse Toggle for Firestick and install 1.06 instead. This is also posted in the pinned comment above. You must have missed that.

Try and a half a dozen times downloading and reloading this app from 4.2 box kept getting P1 try to ignore it and go on with it but it doesn't show my pointer I'd use this mouse before with it I guess a different download I don't know so I guess I'll try to get it somewhere else thank you
I've added Mouse Toggle 1.06 for those having problems. Uninstall the new Firestick Mouse Toggle and install the old one which is 1.06 and it should work for you.

Depends on what you prefer. Hard to beat a $19 Walmart Onn box for that price

SOLUTION FOR ANYONE THAT GETS ERROR P1, YOU NEED TO DOWNLOAD MOUSE TOGGLE VERSION 1.11
We've added Mouse Toggle 1.06 to our Toolbox which works for those having problems.
And where does one find that 1.11 version?
Amazon blocked mouse toggle now from working as it did before but you can get it to work again. You have to remote ADB to the firestick and use these commands.
cd /data/local/tmp/.mousetoggle
./nmouseg stop
./nmouseg start

I don't get the point of installing this. What does it do that the remote can't do??
When you sideload apps that are meant for phone or tablet it will allow you to navigate the screen. If you watch entire video you will see.
