OMG! I DID IT!! I had to try multiple times but the last one did. It took me 3-4 tries but I would always miss something as I was trying to go ahead.... I had to, HAD TO SLOW DOWN and follow each step. NOW is is finishing the updates...and I can't wait to see how this works. Did I mention I am 74 yrs. old and sometimes we let our minds get in the way!!! THANKK YOU AGAIN!!

Thanks for the tutorial. Nice clear explanation and step by step guide. Everything worked for me brilliantly up until the blue chef wizard. The diggz choices are now completely different. You have to select the Diggz AIO ( all in one ) choice. That downloads every Diggz option and then when you’ve completed a few more steps inside the download you should find the Xenon Free as an option.

This is the best Kody build ever, by the best person to ever explain it, he explains it slow & methodically. There's almost no chance of getting it wrong, and the build is the best i've ever seen on kody.This guy is your kody king. Remember to do your IP vanish. It's very important I'm going to be doing this to 54, yes, count them 54 televisions and not one of them will be without IP vanish it's very very important

The directions worked perfectly, thank you! The problem I remember with Kodi is the sheer volume of options/add-ons is so vast, knowing which ones will produce results is a chore that often ended in frustration and zero content watched. After looking around a bit... that will probably what discourages me in the end here with this new build. If you're looking for a follow-up tutorial as a video idea, perhaps some tried and true add-ons for the various genre would be a good idea (i.e., live TV, live sports, PPV....etc). Either way, thanks again for the easy-to-follow tutorial.

I totally agree! There are literally hundreds of videos on installing Kodi (been a Kodi user since Kodi 16 and STILL learning how to navigate the working add-ons from the non-working add-ons). What we need are MORE videos on the add-ons themselves. Installing Kodi is the easy part. Using Kodi is another thing altogether.

@@iambossco Kodi 16 is right when Kodi went to total sht, there's far better options than Kodi and have been since 2018. That's how long Kodi has been over in terms of the real tech people using it. It was big from like 2010-2018. Learn how to set up a server. I'll never use Kodi again.

Worked for me
On Firestick screen, go to Setting->Applications->Manage Installed Applications->Kodi->Clear cache. Then start Kodi again and wait while it rebuild. Worked for me.

Installation took ten minutes, and worked perfectly, albeit a few new modifications have been added which was ok.
One thing is, and its no reflection on the installation, is that many streams are unable to find a working source.

Used to use Kodi years ago - was always a game of cat and mouse having to install new repos every few days or weeks - great tutorial must admit - got to the point where I could practically do it in my sleep after doing it for so many friends and family members! Use a different method now but still enjoyed your video!

I agree.. I remember using Kodi long ago.. So I just did the install in this vid, thinking.. hey.. it's gotta be better after XX revs.. nope.. same old Kodi.. Hit and miss. So unfortunately you can't really just go dump your subscriptions for this, but it is an extra layer.

The build looks great , one small thing it slows kodi incredible down , the best way still is use an Addon with debrid , works perfect and always the best quality 😉

Hi! So couple of questions!
1) Can you be logged into your accounts - Amazon, Streaming Accounts - while using the VPN? Is this recommended?
2) While IPVanish works for you; can one use a different VPN service? Do you have to login to the VPN everytime you turn on your FireStick?
3) Can this be done with a Fire Cube and not just the FireStick?
4) Can the FireStick be moved around - as in if one travels can they take the Firestick with them and have everything they’ve installed still on it? Say you go on a business trip and dont want the hotel channels.

i gave up with Kodi years ago as you constantly have to fiddle with it - in fact the downtime you had to watch anything was filled with maintaining kodi. After being away for so long, my very first experience was exactly the same as years ago - totally useless! - More buffering than an entire company of car polishers! Im gonna play for a half hour then its gone. Life is too short to waste on this - im surprised its still available.
Kodi it’s not for everybody please try using one of the other applications in my store
You cant expect free kodi to work anymore, have to pair with real debrid or another file sharer! 👍🏽😏

I’ve tried to install Kodi several times times, and finally this version worked. But unfortunately, when I try to view any movie or episode, it just goes through all the sources and nothing starts playing. What am I missing.
Kodi and Real Debrid are so easy to watch, maintain and enjoy.

@Mistakes_Were-Made@@Mistakes_Were-Made why paying a subscription fee? There are so many better options than kodi for free TV and movies. Examples, Flix Vision, Bee TV, Film Plus, Nova TV all free and works with 1 click. None of that kodi nonsense.

I had a second channel with over 500,000 subscribers, and I made a video showing people how to use Kodi on that channel. CZcams removed that channel also. I gave upon kodi and the builds. Apks are easy to install and faster.
Great guide! Sadly the KODI app is garbage. Slow as molasses and crashed within 10 minutes of anything I tried to watch. Much better to just stream from a PC with a mirroring app.
There is a similar application called Vavoo works better and really easy than Kodi

i would ditch the Fire Stick get a cheap mini PC put Kodi with diggzs xenon build and never have to worry about running out of room on the Fire Stick I used to use kodinolimits build, but this has more to offer

@neilbennett9281 if you are just streaming Intel n95 cpu 16gb ram 512gb storage, is all you need they around $150-$175
$400 is WAY too much imo.
Mine was $300 new and is totally overkill for media playback. It can even play modern AAA games (at a lower framerates) on its igpu, has an eight core AMD processor, came with Windows 11 pro installed, and best of all it has easily upgradable internal storage (and ram).
You could go so many different ways for $50 to $150, from a used SFF office computer (Optiplex type) to a Nvidia Shield TV type box, and be so much better off than using a fire stick. Just having room to download stuff is worth it without even considering the extra processing power.

Don't understand problems people have. It takes me 2hrs to transfer a new firestick to a Kodi System... including VPN, control of AV System, remapping of remote buttons and the three great plugins plus the one SW outside Kodi, which I only need.
Than it is free of charge, absolutely mobile and offers more functionality.

One tip is to restart firestick tv after you download the app.
Since most VPNs slow down streaming somewhat, is there an easy way to turn ipvanish on when using kodi, then off when using something like youtube, or netflix?
