Burst out laughing at the end of this one, love it :D
ye totally :D:D:D
Jayne is like the nicest person too. I never thought he had it in him. Yarrr!
Hahahah! That laugh was so evil I loved it!!
now hes the coach of Canada in the World Cup. huh. lol
I like this and I think its a great story. To anyone out there reading this and thinking this is the entire game... just remember that for every person that wants to be a pirate, there are those of that like to hunt down pirates and destroy everything they have stolen, scammed, or lied to acquire. Just like life, there are good guys and there are bad guys.... choose a side.
Nah, there arent many who actively hunt pirates, maybe some rare mercs if you pay them, but no, outside of provi there isnt many who will hunt you for doing piracy. But it's true that pirates are rare in the game, most either never get good enough for it, or wont even try.
As some one who has joined several small nullsec corps, under a larger banner, my experiances in provi might be my most profound. Some of the guys i've met have been provi vets for years, some of them ONLY have ever known NRDS and the sense of comradere there is nice. I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss his staetment. Provi is big enough to feel that sense of what RonUSMC was talking about
Sidenote NBSI will actively hunt pirates and reds in thier system even harder i'd imagine if your pocket defense is solid
When my noob corp was wardecced in 2011-2012 i think it was i used some old contacts i had from my previous build as alliance diplomat back in 2003-2005 but they didn't want to come back to highsec , then i asked some advice on the forums about harassing and solo tactics i was a bit out of date in my setups , i got an message that some people wanted to join to teach us as well as help us we gladly accepted , the person leading the group of skilled players was .. Garmon.
if you don't know him just look up garmonation vids here ,
Good guys that become bad guys who turn out to be out for revenge. Where did all the corp isk go? Where is all our ships and loot? Has anyone seen Jimmy? Shit...
"bump in the night" more like the "gnome on the lawn" ayyy lmbo
That evil laugh at the end, lol
Argh, but the real question on everyone's mind is, why is the rum gone?
2 Years later, and I'm still scratching my head asking myself the same question...
@@grumpasalty3859 czcams.com/video/JImcvtJzIK8/video.html
why is the rum always gone?
I lost a Megathron Navy Issue to such a "ninja" that infiltrated our hi-sec corp back in the days, he was the new guy of the corp , the coolest dude for a few days, until the last minute when things went bananas... but we became friends after that, I was fascinated by the tricks he pulled together, he even gave a Cynabal in return for my loss after that! This is gaming people!
i'm reading all these comments right now, every story sounds completely crazy.
Blasters on Typhoon?
MY TYPHOON WAS EQUIPPED WITH THE FOLLOWING:.... xD
To be fair, it looks as if that is actually a panther. But still, blaster on a panther?
autocannons
sounds more like a laser
exactly what I thought...what is it with those videos? shieldtanked Megas? Lasers on a Typhoon?
True pirate laughter in the end. Yo-ho-ho!
evil maniacal laughter
check!
...and this is why I have only family as members of my corp.
don't trust anyone, your own aunt would betray you for a free dictor.
Hi, I’m your long distance 3rd cousin can you let me in ur Corp? Thx
Bad idea mate. That's how the war of the roses started.
I love how this guy looks like a prison documentry getting interviewd XD
this is great jayne! love how this worked out!
I knew we couldn’t trust Jayne.
That's gotta be the best pirate I've ever seen.
Trust issues the game, right here. Also helps if your a sociopath.
Indeed. Only trust people as far as you can throw them, but it's a good thing when you find people you can reasonably trust.
The most challenging aspect of EVE is to learn how to determine whom you can trust. althatishere, however, needs to remember that just because a person chooses to play a bad guy in a game (much like playing a villain in a movie) that does not mean he/she is a sociopath... and often those who play the worst of the worst in EVE turn out to be some of the most helpful players in the game outside of that role.
"and often those who play the worst of the worst in EVE turn out to be some of the most helpful players in the game outside of that role"
This, definitely. There are some crappy people in every category, but generally some of the nicest and most helpful people I know are pirates and gankers, and some of the most toxic people I've met are anti-PvP carebears.
@@GhastlytheTinkerer way late with this comment, but I found that I have the most helpful or interesting conversations with people who have tried or successfully killed me (learned dscan, cloak warp, no autopilot, bubble avoidance, tactical perches, and even why fleets work in tandem roles instead of just zerg-rushing with dps). To me it seems that they really enjoy the pvp aspect and you're just collateral, but they want to see you get better and eventually pose a threat to them. Plus, even if you do something big to them, it'll only add to their reputation.
@@Ranger1PresentsVirtualRealms Only due to they want you to keep playing and not quite as most do due to this type of so called "game play" outright bully taking from the weaker more inexperienced players that vastly give up due to this alone. No help will help from the one that just blew you up and looted your wreck. EVE is a Psychopathy type game and those that play it suffer from such prior or post EVE gaming. It will turn the nicest bad and bad to psychopath/sociopath. Taking from the weak is bad behaviour no matter if in real life or gaming as gaming is a part of real life and people pay money to play that others take to pay their bill. For the EVE Veterans to have fun at every other player's expense. Theft under the guise of a Game
Holy crap i didn't know that Jayne Played Eve??? Holy crap!
Пошел в пираты, отправили ведьдак копать. Послушался приказа и пошел. Ай молодца.
Why is Fillon standing in front of a knock off millennium falcon?
Oh wait its just a Skiff from an odd angle
aaaand those guys from the very small guild (corp) lost everything and quit the game
The end.
if they are stupid enough to put all of their assets out without protection, they didnt really understand how to play Eve.
Yup, a game for griefers. PSychopaths. Those who want to ruin someone's day/week/year.
Eve fights are like putting a 10 year old kid versus a professional UFC fighter. There are no fair fights in this game, just beating up of noobs and then gloating abotu it in local chat and showing the killmail to everybody - look how l33t I am, I got me a venture flown by a nublet on his 1st day in game.
I'm enjoying it :-D
If they didn't insure a freaking ORCA, or even had protection for said ORCA, then they pretty much accepted the risks.
this isn't griefing, they're pirates, it's what they do. If you make a mistake in EVE, no one is going to cry for you, if you don't accept the fact that mistakes can cost you shitloads, then you're shit out of luck.
if they did lose everything, and quit the game, then so be it. it was their own damn fault, it's like going into detroit in a goddamn Lamborghini Aventador, then leaving it in an un-attended garage unlocked, while telling some guy on the street its down there, then walking away.
Fair fights located in novice outposts.
Yeah I'm all for shit like this happening, but honestly when you look at eve's inflated pop numbers and realize that it's because most people have 5-6 alts and all these people that are leaving the game, it's a bad deal for a mmo that needs payers. Honestly at least they are working with the number 1 killer of the player base retention... high sec war dec mechanics. Thank god.
@0:06 Reputation and your corp history and when your toon was 'born' .. i remember i stoped playing for a few YEARS and came back and someone locked me down and msg me to send them X amount of isk or they were going to pop my pod .. I knew I was not able to win the fight but I simply asked them to look at my charactors birth date and they decided that attacking me was too big of a risk since I had started the game like a few months after launch lol
And now he's a coach for the Dallas Fuel and one of the best streamers on Twitch.
he should mention that they whelp fleets on regular basis nowdays :D
BIG BRAIN JAYNE
JAYNE!!!
Hi! so.. i'm a prick at Eve online and this is my story...
That moment when you've been watching 'Guess My SR' for a few months and then you stumble across this
Fucking beard is legit
"Trust no one in EVE... Except me." - Nina Eloona
She's an awesome capsuleer. If you ever see her in your system, add her in your friends.
1:12 the laughter alone is worth the watch
Back then, when Jayne had hair LUL
This one was better...and, that laugh! Priceless!
8/10, would click again.
ding! congrats u leveled up your EVE life. Welcome to the club :)
Ah yes, a cutthroat pirate is born
WHERE MY PLAT CHAT AT YO!?
And I still love shooting at newbies, then give them some ISK after they freak out while telling them "Welcome to EvE Online"
ZoruaZorroark someone tried doing that to me when I first joined then they freaked out when I blew up there ship they asked me how I managed that I told them I been playing space strategy game since I was 8 years old and eve is no deffrent they ended up taking me into there guild
What an evil laughter at the end. 💀🍴
1:12
Says it all right there why i never played EVE
i started the game back in revelations. got in the rax back when u could field 8x heavy drones. I went to low sec and started running protection for some miners. wound up having to fight a t2 fit maller. was a good fight. wound up bsing with some of the pirates. they stopped engaging the miners an we started hunting together. i finished up my contract with the mining corp and join up with the pirates right before a budding pirate alliance blows up in essence. finally pissing off people enough until we get war decd by mercenary coalition and federation of freedom fighters.
I would have done a number on the pirates, grab a few merc corps, and have them ready too.
I love to drop pirate corpses to DRIFTERS
Why not check his API Keys ?
Как ты с цинкой летал - они там тупили чтоли не видили что у тебя 1 луч вместо двух? Типа забыл второй лазер воткнуть? :)
loving these,keep them coming CCP
They looked at me??? LMFAO
haha, just proves, which may seem ironic, that the game is all about trust. And bloody massacres. And plots. Oh, and theft. And my favourite, scooping corpses.
Shoot, loot, scoop n boot.
that was actually pretty dark story, holy crap
Most of your live action videos are cringy. This one was actually pretty good.
That is how you do it ;)
Aaarrrr...those pirates!
Man being a pirate must be the most slack thing in eve to make money just attack shit that can put up on a fight back so it will be a one sided massacre. Man if life was that easy.
The problem is that a game that feeds on it self eats it's self to oblivion. But maybe Eve going f2p may bring a constant supply of peeps
However, will eventually wind down to an end as the supply of new players will evaporate slowly but surely... Really is just a matter of time and word of mouth and blogs and every other means of communications we all utilize. Just not quite there yet but one day EVE will be a distant memory and inept CCP Dev's are responsible for running it into the ground desperate to have players generate their cash flow vise being inventive and creative to bring in new content that creates Player Retention. CCP Devs are like, Nah, that's what the players are for... Missing the point of Gaming alltogether and blinded by the greed of money
Yes.
Always best videos for CCP Excel simulator.
Now it's Eve OpenOffice, since Eve no longer has a trial option that end after a certain amount of time.
Why is the panther shooting lasers?
CCP has a rather notorious history creating videos with similar continuity errors. I honestly think they do it on purpose nowadays, just to see if we would notice or not.
WE TRUSTED YOU.
YES. MAKE MORE OF THESE. THIS IS HOW YOU MAKE CCP GREAT AGAIN. #IWASTHERE
I'm confused. I'm only 15 years old and I played only 2 hours in EVE online (according to my steam profile). So, is this game something super serious where real money is involved or the guy in the video is just acting? I'm not offending anyone, just want to know if it's worth to play this game. Btw I really enjoyed my first 2h. And sorry for my english.
Real money does not tend to be involved. People can choose to buy stuff that, in the end, is paid for by real money, but generally that is not the case.
Internet spaceships are srs bsns.
No real money, he got paid ingame money for ingame stuff. He can use that ingame money to buy more ships etc :)
also the guy in the video isn't an actor, that's jayne the player. i know him. cool dude. they just filmed the players telling their stories :)
D BT The way he talks and his expression are so dramatic and sad. If this game makes you feel these types of emotion, I'll continue playing it. Btw thanks for the answer.
never warp to zero alone
These "players have huge battle that cost $8000 in real money" stories make a lot of headlines, but aren't entirely true, because the players that take part in those fights don't actually spend real money on ships like that. When Jayne was talking about the paycheck, he was talking about in-game money.
Also, some advice for the new-bro: don't be afraid of PvP. Ships are made to be blown up and can be replaced easily enough. But don't fly anything you can't replace.
Sounds like they were in low sec space.
nice video :D
Наше дело не дрожать. Накопал и в док бежать...
You feel bad about destroying the first maybe dozen player ships.
After that, it's just business.
YES!!!
anyone planning to go renegade against their faction they're born from?
all i did in my mining corp the 1st corp i joined ever was defend their sorry asses from a pirate attack and they kicked me for it ha good to know tho cause now they are pretty much disbanded since almost the entire corp left them for it revenge is sweet tho i prefered to just kill em, i occasionally do pvp if the isk income is steady enough hang out mostly in Dodixie but for now stickin to good ol boring mission running since im low on isk :P
my eve story pretty much is me making my friends panic and freak out especially during missions lol just trigger all spawns and watch the chaos unfold!
aaah i miss it ;)
haha cool video =D
Coming out
Ah, exploiting an enemy who could not defense themselves. Great reputation?
I'd like to see more offers like that, but instead I see "hey mate wanna move in my WH system? you can mine and salvage there..." or "2.5b hangar firesale quitting EVE" :(
My solo ibis ran into a gang of over 50 marauders and bubbles on a gate, with no possibility of survival. I begged and cried for my friends to help, who were 5 jumps out. The amount of DPS the enemy fleet pushed onto my ibis, was uneventful at best. In around 10 minutes of overheating my only small ancillary repper, my friends arrived in their gilas and wiped out the enemy fleet. With some hull damage and blinking lights, we all managed to escape.
Anybody wanna see an EVE tv series?
Ha Ha Ha, Awesome......
Ha Ha JonnyPew didn't like my comment I left on his comment so he removed his comment. So sad he can't take criticism. If it doesn't make him look good he removes your comment and blocks you from making future comments. Even if it's the truth. I'm glad I unsubed from him just wish more people would catch on to this joke.
Aaron S ?
Jayne Overwatch. With hair.
4Head
This is nice and all but when is CCP gonna make some cheesy ads with the real EVE Online warriors and content creatros? Like the legendary bounty hunter wheniaminspace, the fearless first Revenant killer Elo Knight, the thin ice walking Mongol king Chief in Dumpstering Command Lacco and the fleet whisperer steelrattty? Oh yeah... right. They all quit.
Numale Online
Jayne quit the game
Wow what a load of crap, the target probably mined the loses back in a week tops.
Lol every1 hates me in eve online :(
Hey CCP, I just wanted you to know that making the game "free" and advertising piracy, ganking, betrayal and thievery will not make me come back. Next time just try to make the game more interesting and enjoyable for normal people, mkay? Thanks.
no but there is carebears :)
It is enjoyable. Just don't be a noob
ok carebear, go play mario kart
I'm new to the game, I'm guessing this is the fabled "carebear"
Exactly
Overwatch Jayne anybody
you are not a pirate wihtout an eye patch

Rat's
these trailer are aweful man
..
Yep, another cringy video. Wouldn't make me want to play EVE.
Too many chubby, nerdy men with ridiculous beards in this game. They should hire good looking models for these video's. Give the game a better, or at least, a different image, and hence, lure in more players. Don't mean to insult anyone. I love everyone regardless, and Eve, of course. They should hire me, I'm good looking, slim and shave (almost) every day :). Fly relatively safe everyone.
Unless you find models who play Eve and want to tell their Eve Story, then the video campaign would be insincere to use hired models who don't play.
PeterVDale
Hey it's CCP, not EA Games XD
You are right. Maybe honesty is the best policy and that is what Eve is all about...wait a minute..what am I saying...?
