Looking forward to the full review! Always interested in CNC machines. Also have been looking at the Shariff DMC2 too.
You do great reviews!.... thank you so much! 👍 😃
This is a video I’ve been waiting for
I applaud Carvera for providing review machines to reputable reviewers like yourself.
Actually, I can't understand how anyone would back a kickstarter that hadn't been reviewed by well known third parties.
Nice video ❤
Best review videos ❤❤❤
Thanks for this fantastic review. I've ordered an Air via the Kickstarter campaign.
Can you please tell me, is it possible to use the Air manually? For example, if I wanted to simply put a hole or key-way in an existing part, would I need to load a tool path, or could I simply drive the X, Y and Z axes manually?
Hi, actually I'm quite tempted to buy it but I'm also quite concerned about the noise levels.... How does this compare to a bambulab p1 in ludicrous mode? Is it much worse?
Hi! Im looking at buying my first 3d printer and have narrowed it down to the Creality CR-10 SE and the Flashforge AD5M. Since you are very smart and skilled with these printers which one would you recommend ?
If you go on her website, you will find a list of 3D printers that she is recommending for various reasons.
I personally bought a Adventurer 5M Pro and I am absolutely amazed by how great it is. You can also find a review of the machine on Aurora's CZcams channel.
Will you be reviewing that giant (Orangestorm Giga) printer from Elegoo?
Yes, in May
Hi,
Do you have any experience with Scupfun S30 promax? It is a laser engraving, the question is: can we change the laswr to drill bit node?
I don't think so, since laser engraver frames are typically not designed to handle the weight and force generated by a spindle or router.
Deleted my last comment. Think the message came across, let's stay positive. Looking forward to the review!
Nice.
so there is still no edgefinder?
Part height is nice but what about the edges?
Hmm, is that needed? that would be nice for parts that are already cut to size, but I think you will mostly have bigger metals; so it's not needed because you are homed right? can be wrong, I'm here to learn!
Sovol Svo8 review when ?
The auto tool changer is the only thing that justifies the Carvera's price. If there was a better software ecosystem to help newbies, this machine might be good for newbies. However, the difficulty in learning a full toolchain of CAD and CAM, which is the same for cheaper, more powerful machines, makes this just a more expensive basic CNC. If the Makera CAD/CAM software ever materializes, this may be a good machine for education. Until then, save your money and buy a more conventional machine that uses standard parts you can replace, if they break.
Can you recommend desktop machines with CNC, Laser, PCB-making, 4th axies, like the carvera air for cheaper?
@@womacko Just a thought in my head, Genmitsu 4040-PRO, 4-axis, larger engraving area, lower price
@@bumbeeworking7587 has no housing...
@@womacko most machine on the market has no housing... its not the point my mekanika has 600x600 area for work but no housing,,, and i buy some item profile and make my housing inklude space for tools myself... and i can build how i want ,)
Where do you buy your bits?
It came with different sizes of collets, including 1/8", 1/4", 4mm, and 6mm. Any regular CNC bits with these shank diameters should fit.
@@AuroraTech I can't find good bits for 6061 aluminum. In the past I could mill for a whole day, but now they don't last for more than 2 or 3 hours
👍🏻👍🏻
Will bambu make one? 🌝
Hi ❤
I was backer 78!!! I got all the add ons also!
I bet the undisclosed “shipping” is $200 😂
Average 350 dollar
👍
Buy a $200 CNC use it for two projects, realize you hate anything that can't change its tools by itself cuz you're changing tools flipping and remounting and doing all kinds of stupid shit all the time. And save yourself $1,800. Tool changer or nothing!
1:24 - What's a "cha-sus" ?
L:ooks cool just not a fan of these kickstarts :
Why?
@@Energetic_Ballistic_Solutions I backed one a while ago called Mega Cell Charger and there has been nothing but terrible delays and excuses from the owner, the person making the software parted ways and now charges a subscription, etc etc.... you have to be very careful with kickstarters I only back companies that have a history of delivering good stuff. And luckily Makera has delivered the original Carvera which is good, so I backed this one.
good job kid.
