Love that combination and use it as well with an ODB-3 and the tech 21 programmable bass driver. My ODB-3 settings are with EQ flat and balance and gain around 9 o´clock just to give a little bite and keep most of the bass signal clean.
@@johnnymartini5434I just compared both a very long time ago. I found the programmable bass driver way better than the bddi. But it was about 15 years ago, so do not take it too serious. Both are great. The programmable bass driver is more versatile and I found the drive section better sounding.
@gearforest9746 Thanks a million 😊 I'looking forward to getting my hands on one of those. I just was not sure which one to get, bddi, programmable, or VT.
@@johnnymartini5434 welcome! :) I do not know the VT, but the demoes are promising. I still use the programmable as a preamp for my bassboard over 20 years now. I think you cannot go wrong with tech21 for bass. Best would be to compare them all on your own in a shop.
have you ever tried to put the driver before the boss? I usually play with the overdrive before the boss, to "pump" the sound and then tune precisely the distortion. What do you think?
sounds wonderfull I use this configuration , but I has an question, What pedal could I add to have more body in the sound, by connecting the pedal directly to the console?
@@petem8630 I have one but I never use it because I don't like it, I got it as a gift, I'm using a GK full rig and I can barely hear a difference because the GK sound is so prominent.
Sounds good. I have the same pickup in my P Bass and I love it!
Lovely sounding combo. Might have purchase a ODB.
I don't know why but this combination of pedals works well. I used it for a while with my metal band
Damn. Sounds sick
Great tone.

Have you had a chance to compare programmable to bddi? Is there any sound differences or noticeable noise difference?

Sounds exactly the same as the Geddy Lee preamps but probably way cheaper

This is what ur supposed to do
OBD-3 sounds better plugged into effects return or 'amp in' if your bass amp has one.
良いね!

Definitely the sansamp, it emulates a full bass amp sound while the boss has no amp emulation
Sounded great without the overdrive
Song name? or is this just freestyle and if so... tabs?
Just improvising over a minor pentatonic
Please pay for your strings
Have you any experience with the VT Bass Di?
I had one years ago i want to get another someday
