People are more interested in GETTING SALARY AND PERKS rather than getting into the mindset that judges are required to lower the burden of the case pending in India.
True, inko pcsj kay baad llm karna hai but yeh bhul gaye kay judge banna koi choti baat nahi hai.
Whats wrong in that? In which field people dont think about salary? Human runs only after money. You, me study hard so that we dont go broke in the future. Period.

There are few things you will have to keep in mind for giving HJS exam while being in lower judiciary.
1. Before exam what actual seats have been allocated by the HC for lower judiciary candidates. Suppose there are 30 seats overall , few of them will be for civil judges others for advocates . As it has been recently adjudged by the Hon'ble SC that in service officers can't compete for seats reserved for advocates. ..so they are very few as it depends on cadre size.
2. Different states have different criteria, like in rajsthan it is mandatory for a person to have previous 5 year's ACR atleast as very good .
3. Age should be atleast 35.

@@kushalsr and from where did you get your facts? I got mine from experience after being part of Judiciary for 20+ years and living in 12 different districts until now. I have seen 100s of couples who are judges and they are posted in the same district. So please cross check your facts. I have seen only one exception until now but that too when both are District Judge level so they can't be posted in the same district as a District Judge so they got neighbour districts. That's why i think i have my facts right.

This can be a ground but not a compulsion.
So whatever post you are on or whatever district you have been posted in,you need to know more about your job,may be you can check with the high court rules.

Yes. Its a sad reality that Judges don't get even 25% security of what an IAS or Politician gets even after it being a royal profession. They only had the support of a beacon but that too was taken away on the pretext of so called VIP culture.
