  • Check Cables and Connections:
Ensure that all cables are securely connected to both the PS5 and your TV or monitor. If you're using an HDMI cable, try using a different HDMI port on your TV or monitor. Test the cable itself to make sure it's not faulty.
    Hard Reset:
Try performing a hard reset on your PS5 to see if it resolves the issue. To do this:
Turn off the PS5 by holding down the power button for about 10 seconds until you hear a second beep.
Unplug the power cable from the PS5 and wait for a few minutes.
Plug the power cable back in and turn on the PS5.
    Boot into Safe Mode:
Booting your PS5 into Safe Mode might allow you to change the resolution settings even if you can't see the screen. Here's how:
    Turn off the PS5 completely.
Press and hold the power button until you hear a second beep, indicating that the console is booting in Safe Mode.
Connect a controller to the PS5 using a USB cable.
From the Safe Mode menu, select "Change Resolution" and follow the on-screen prompts to adjust the resolution settings.
    Use Another Display:
If possible, connect your PS5 to another TV or monitor to see if the issue is with the display itself.

It keeps turning back off or showing me the blue light. I have only got a USB-C to usb-C hopefully that’s not a problem.

Recently my Panosonic Tv OS updated to Android 12 and after that PS5 4K output is completely black screen, it works only in 1080 p. How to fix. No method is working. I have another tv which works fine with ps5 4k output.

I've just got the samsung s95c and I'm playing the ps5 on it for the first time and the screen keeps going black, I've tried doing what the video suggests, and i set the res to 2160p, the ps5 restarted but its still going black.. did i do it wrong, or is there anything else i can do?

Don’t set it to 2160p lol, set it to something like 1080p or 720p first, if it doesn’t black screen, then it must be your TV not supporting 4K

What if you boot into safe mode and still nothing shows up on the screen?

I figured it out in my case. The problem was that it won’t output video to a video capture card because it doesn’t respect DRM. You have to connect it to a modern TV that handles that. Same reason you can’t connect Bluetooth headphones to it.
