tim ur dad is the definition of a true professional driver nice to see some of those guys are still around
I don’t get the dynamic there. How did pops get below son in the pecking order?? He’s obviously a good ole school driver. I’m retired out of a big truck. I know a lot of us old drivers had some problems away from the truck. I know I’d hire him in a heart beat.
@@fuzzybutkus8970I believe his dad and another family member worked for another company but told Tim if he could get things rolling they’d quit and work for him
Your theifs
I thought the 5 troopers was gonna be excessive and overkill but they put in work and looks like they were very helpful.
Bucket truck came in very handy too.
Good job boys!
Once you leave NYC the Northeast is very congested and the drivers tend to be aggressive so the troopers were well worth it.
I bet that bucket truck operator gets him a fiberglass pole to lift them small wires with. It would of saved him a lot of time and energy 🤣.
Awesome video and man I like that black Peterbilt truck, super sharp rig right there 👍👍
This is what we watch the channel for
How cool is that!! The boat is called Free Bird!! Rockin!
my butt was drawed most of the trip, thanks for taking along.
Gentry & Sons Trucking, job well done.. well oiled crew you have going there! its always good to see a happy customer at delivery!
I remember watching another Heavy Haul Driver on YT a couple 3 years ago explain permits and how much of a pain in the butt they are and the costs.
This boat is a “Super Load” I estimate the cost of the permits(paper work, surveys, pilot cars, police escort, damn boom truck) you looking at 10s of thousands of dollars. And the boat owner said “Do It”
Owner must really love that boat.
I'm pretty sure $50-$100k was mentioned
D wasn't messing around with the traffic trying to pass i love how she was like NO NO lady
I ❤ these boat hauling videos even I'm biting me finger nails 😂
That's a bada** boat. Everyone did a fantastic job. Pilot cars, State Troopers, Finis, bucket truck man. Love the complete trip with this boat. God Bless You and your family ❤
Thanks 👍
@@GentryandsonsMy Dad was a Connecticut State Trooper , from 1970 to 1990 , back then I remember him telling me they tried not to be to hard on the truckers , hope that has not changed 😎👍
Almost perfect. Eli screwed up twice with his directions.
MORE MORE MORE!!! I WANT MORE LOL. Keep up the great work Tim!
Thank. You. Tim. And. Your. Dad for. The.Vito and. All. Your. Helpers
You should really invest in an oversized load mirror extension package to help the driver see around the sides when hauling oversized loads. (Just a suggestion) Anything to help situational awareness.
Panorama view remote cameras would be better
Sometimes those extended mirrors cause more problems than there worth, sometimes you have to hug the curb and you windup taking out the mirrors on a sign or pole or prevent from hugging the curb to make a turn
I ran oversized for years and there’s no better feeling than when you get those tall loads off your trailers and safely delivered, I didn’t mind wide heavy or long but I hated those tall loads
That’s why you will be the 1st trucking format to hit a million subscribers great video you don’t realize how lucky you are to have 4 generations working together that is so awesome,I got to go trucking with my Dad my uncle and my cousins but both my grandpas drove truck too I got too know them but never had the opportunity to truck with them I’m retired now was in the saddle for 35 years I miss it keep it up great content✝️✝️✝️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👍👍👍😎
When you went to interview the old man he just seamed to be loving every minute of it!
Whew, I'm relieved that thing is delivered. I know you guys must feel the same way
There is just no way this could have been a better option than just driving the boat up the coast.. it’s plenty big enough to safely make it, and not so big that fuel would make it cost prohibitive
Way to go tim you got a great bunch of people who help you
Power lines are on top bro, i thought everyone knew that. Those are phone and cable lines
You are correct.
This is my definition of fun. 15 years on the road, and i would love to do this.
Keep your deddy in the truck. The content for trucking is with him. Put him in some nice sht. Let the camera follow him. There’s your advertisement for your direction.
Agreed 💯 Tim’s Dad is The MAN !!
Tim just want to say thank good care of your father he is the best god bless you all ❤
Tim I would have to saw your Dad did a very awesome job pulling that boat
Finis's neat efficient driving in that clean running black truck with the monster load is your best advert ever for your company. Absolutely excellent.
Talk about stressful. Wouldn’t it have been easier to just captain the boat up from Florida?
Message to those linemen, "don't rock the boat or it may never float!"
Tim’s dad is a true professional truck driver!! He is the man cool calm and collective
Tim on the other hand act’s like a kid I’m still trying to figure why Tim wasted money flying out and rented a vehicle Tim’s dad the troopers bucket truck and pilot cars had this load taken care of
Man just watching the video is stressing Me out l can't imagine what they are feeling and going through. They are doing such an amazing job You guys definitely deserve respect for doing such a stressful job.
Tim
Great video. Escorts and Troopers all professional!
YOUR DAD IS A TRUE PEOFESSIONAL. YOU CAN TELL HIS EXPERIENCE.NOTHING EXCITED HIM COMPARED TO YOUR COMMENTS. DEFINITELYNOT HIS FIRST RODEO. GLAD NO PROPERTY DAMAGE AND EVERYONE SAFE.
Job well done, hats off to your dad, hes a hell of a driver.
Awesome work Tim an crew an the officers, even it got a small amount damage, you still came out ahead big time I'm sure, awesome video Tim, these videos rock, love the trucking videos, in the semi best there is, thanks for sharing 🇺🇲💪🤙✊👌👍
Awesome job guys.
It is so good to see real truck drivers in today's world.
Tim you probably needed a cigarette and a double shot of Jack after having to watch this . Youre a good man to pay for the mistake and get the repayment soon
anyone else hearing the Jerry Reed song eastbound and down loaded up and truckin RIP Jerry and CW McCall they both had great old trucker songs I used too listen too them while driving late at night too help me stay awake
I still love "Six Days on the Road" by Dave Dudley and will break down hearing Red Sovine's "Giddy Up Go".
Don't forget Minnie Peal and Red Sovine... and teddybear
It would have been faster and cheaper transporting the boat to Connecticut via water and it wouldn't have been any hassles. Anytime a boat is being relocated and the destination can be reached by water it is usually the best option for any larger boat. From Ft Lauderdale to Old Saybrook Connecticut is 1150 miles via water and a formula 45 with twin 435hp volvo d6 propulsion a good cruising speed is 25 mph with a 35 gph fuel burn. Non stop that would be around 45 hrs over water and it would take 1,700 gallons of Diesel fuel for the trip and there wouldn't be any haul out expenses or disassembly related expenses. The trip would have taken $7000 in diesel fuel plus whatever a captain wanted to charge for the trip which wouldn't have been more than $10,000. That boat could have reached it's destination for $17,000 via water with only one person involved. Compare that to the cost of the trip over land via truck.
He said the customer didn’t want to transport it via water in the last video about the boat
@@krisknight7258 The customer is a moron if he actually stated that.
@@mikeshultz1007idk that’s what he said but who knows
Mikeshultz1007 The ocean in March is snotty, including all the winter debris and heavy downpours from the rivers into the ocean. Also. The boat is not new, and not under warrenty. There were some unresolved motor issues. Imagine getting stuck, pulling into some marina and wait for parts, and unknown people to fix, while paying 2 people to captain it each and every day. The owner is fussy about who touches his engines. Either way was a crapshoot.
Congratulations Tim on the delivery of the boat. Fantastic and professional driving by your dad and great job by the rest of the crew
I thought my job had pressure , but I would have had MAJOR Anxiety when I had to shut the roads down, I hate people waiting on me!
I’m surprised dad didn’t make you drive back and he take the plane home 😄
Only issue I see with the new channel is Tims wife seems insecure at times and is really quick to be done with CZcams over the smallest things like for example negative FEEDBACK and it will absolutely be necessary to be all dolled up with tons of makeup or she ain’t gonna have it.. I super excited to see how it all plays out. Poor ol’ Timmy could just take his negative feedback and fix it and he could be a successful CZcamsr, he knows a lot of successful people in the CZcams industry I just think he’s to damn hard headed to listen to his viewers and change some of the things he’s doing.
Why should he change except in unsafe ways. Haters watching the channel also help build channel
How about just keep your opinion to yourself you don’t like what he’s doing or running his channel don’t watch the videos it’s that simple keyboard warrior
Maybe she just doesn't like youtube it's not for everybody and that's ok beside you like a troll just trying to bother Tim... Plus, he already is a successful youtuber you're here watching trying to get some attention.
Agree 💯
@@juansalinas6927 HUH?
Nice leapfrogging work by the troopers.
Nice job guys! And that’s an understatement. Love you dad! Please tell him so. Thanks
WOW THIS WAS AWSOME TO WATCH I KNOW YOUR DAD WAS GLAD TO HAVE THIS LOAD DELIVERED AND DONE WITH
Through this whole yacht haul series I keep waiting to hear "Convoy" playing in the background. =)
phone wire is on the bottom, cable is in the middle and power is on the top👍
anyone who suffers constipation should watch this video, trust me theyll clear them drawers.
Excellent watching this entire trip with y'all.
Great job guys...Bet youre happy its at its destination....That was an awesome video from start to finish.....Stay safe and see you on the next one
Awesome video the whole team done a fantastic job much success to all of you on future boat hauls
This is a lot more exciting than the way I delivered big boats, only 2 men to move one a lot bigger than what you guys have,I was the captain and the other was my 1st mate lol 👍 p.s. great job very organized, very professional!
Tim, your father is absolutely just amazing , but he is a real gentleman. Great job, guys.
There ain't no way I could have done that my nerves would have shot me down good job guys
Tim this the best vid you and your team put out,GB from NM.
It's great you have some nice trucks for those hero loads. This series was great. You really appreciate what goes into moving these oversized loads around. Truely professional 👌
Tim, you guys did an awesome job!
Pops is a hell of a driver straight Tennessee legend
Finis is the absolute man!! Super professional, great communication, super patient & thorough!!
I want to start by saying I’m not a trucker and I know nothing about the trucking industry. I’ve been a subscriber since you first appeared on Bruces channel. Your videos are always interesting and positive. This video is by far the best video you have ever posted. Great job showing the challenges you faced along the way. I’d be shocked if this doesn’t get the most views you’ve ever gotten. Great job. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
You would think those people in Conn. would want the power lines, cable TV, phone lines whatever they were wouldn’t want to see all of that mess everyday. It looks like some movie scene of Japan in early 29th century. Love the name of boat “Free Bird”. Lynyrd Skynyrd lives on !!
I live here in CT. Everything is old here. Including the street layouts probably anywhere from 200-400 years old. It is what it is. Plus the ground is filled with rocks doesn't make for fun when burying stuff. It is what it is.
Glad it's there safe and sound wew off to the next one brother great job every one
They definitely sent you guys on the worst possible route. If you had stayed straight when the pilot car kept going and you had to wait for him to turn around, it would have brought you on a main road CT66 straight to RT9 right to Saybrook instead of going on the back roads through Wallingford and Durham awesome job getting it there.
You have to stay on route that the state approves. That's why they had to back up on the road.
thanks for taking us along, really enjoyed the content
Havent seen anything new on the new channel except old vids. But this one is Awsome .
Amazing video, throughly enjoyed it! Great job!
That was a very stressful time for you I am sure. Well done man. Love your videos.
Black truck looks better with the trailer.
Outstanding trip Boy.
Hey Tim, you learned a lot from Steve! Good filming!!!!
Very interesting trip. Glad it was done and over with you guys did a great job. Too bad somebody else didn't do. Theirs like they should have drunk along.
Your father is is the man !!
Much Love Family !!
👍good job Tim and dad.
Your dad is a true gentleman trucker always dressed nice and clean cut.
That ole boy in the bucket truck is getting a workout in this video. Good job 👏
My hat is off to your dad. He got it there. Sure, it was not as easy as it looked. Bet there were some tense moments.
Great job everybody!
Amazing! I am so disappointed as you literally were right in my neighborhood. I live off of 691 and work in Wallingford, right off 91. We do heavy haul work and its always a pleasure having the great Connecticut State Troopers!
Amazing job you crew did! Could of taken u all out for a meal....maybe next time....
My first time watching you guys and I have to say It was a great journey 👍 🇺🇸🙏
Boy what a helluva trip y'all made there.Watched Steve's video too coming through Atlanta and that.Helluva job Tim, your dad and the crew.🤙✌️🇺🇲
2nd request of why trucking when the Atlantic Ocean would be far easier? Boats float and motor.
These boats travel about 8-10 knots. If the owner isn’t a qualified captain then hiring one your insurance carrier approves of becomes an issue. Fuel consumption is a very real item with diesel costs averaging $4.50 per gal. Marine diesel would be more expensive. Boats this size probably hold 300-600 gals minimum. Don’t know fuel consumption on his engines but it’s probably high. Then you have lodging and fuel stops to plan. Lots goes into a trip this far.
Because rich people love to be difficult. They could have put the dam thing on a barge with others boats going north and got a way better deal than sailing it up with some special licensed captain. There is the railway system also which I’m sure would have been easy as well.
He said the customer didn’t want to transport via water because of it being spring and didn’t want the possibility of damage from floating debris
@@krisknight7258 That’s what insurance is for.
Wow! Where you stopped on rte 15.You where only 5 miles from my house.Great job Tim, Sr and the connecticut state troopers.
That was a awesome video you guys did a awesome job hope you all have a blessed night god bless 👍 🙏 ❤️ 💯

1q1Electric lines are all ways on top communication low voltage are the lower wires but remember they could be fiber optic that could bankrupt you in a second.
Gentry & Sons for the win!
Fantastic video, thx
Hi tim your team team did a hewsome job getting that boat through a small town
