Quick question, which setup will give better trigger response when pre cocked, the 10:1 with a 22tpa, or the 14:1 with 18tpa? Also I’m using an 11.1 60c LiPo
Chaze 10:1 and 22 tpa all day. With a higher tpa and lower ratio you will get much better trigger response. And since your using pre-cocking, you won’t have any issues with overspin with a larger battery.

I know this video is 2 years old but I noticed you have what looks to be an OEM cylinder head with Teflon tape. I always recommend my customers to pay the extra money and basically build a efficient compression setup. I mean all Teflon tape is going to do is over time it can actually compress and dry out your o-ring and you might not be getting as efficient air seal as possible. I mean I've done it for people you know when people bring in like rental guns like hey can you fix these I only have a budget of you know $100-150 those are kind of tricks that I do because they don't have the money or the means to put the money into it when I do custom builds I always always put a double o-ring cylinder head and I buy a good quality piston piston head top of plate and air nozzle I mean you can buy a kit to get all those things for you know just over $100 all my guns have that and I feel like what that gives me is as close to perfect air seal with the correct nozzle length and bucking EG meaning the lips on the bucking making sure they're not too long or too Short with the right hop up and the correct barrel with a high-speed setup with a short barrel I'm still getting 250 ft shots and I use 0.36 BBs. I love the high rate guns but I don't use full auto doesn't interest me at all I'm specifically semi-auto and my auto function is set to binary cuz I mean with the speed setup like that if you're able to feather your trigger I mean you're still faster than most people on the field I personally have not done a DSG yet so I might reach out to you you know about some further information I noticed know some of these Canadian websites they sell you know the shs DSG sector Gear with a tablet plate for $40 Canadian but you know if I was to buy that what can I pair it with?.

Faster return time from stronger spring means you dont have to run AB as much to correct overspin. This is especially important in low ratio dsgs like his 10:1, you need a strong spring to avoid PME. And can give you a boost in rof if your motor and battery can handle it. Cut the barrel length down to reduce fps. Not to mention it's a dsg so it only pulls half of the spring
Im using Prometheus 170 spring and 303mm PDI 6.01mm inner barrel with Perun V2 mosfet. Im confident that i properly shimmed all the gears. And getting 300fps on 0.25g bbs. Trimmed the tappet wing to 10.9mm and air seal is properly checked. So not sure if I should be getting the right fps or it should be higher. Need your comments on this. Thanks.. greta video btw..

Yea. I've broke 3 SHS pistons already, I'm not liking them at all. M190, 7tooth 18:1 DSG, 25g Piston assembly, 55rps. I now use Mutation Airsoft Piston. Hasn't broke yet.
Hey can I ask a question I have been teaching for 3 years in Airsoft and 7 in paintball. Now I have been mainly an AEG guy and some gas stuff and shortly will finish my first cqb HPA. To the question I would like to try building a dag mainly for semi auto snap trigger pulls which gear pairs with what I have shs 12:1 ssg, OEM steel g&g 18:1 ssg and Prometheus 18:1 ssg which dsg sector would go beat with what I have provided ?.

How did you manage to get the lonex shell to fit into a G&P body? I have been wanting to use mine, but I could not persuade it into fitting. Also, is the rear, large grub screw for the G&P lower necessary?
That's the last gearbox shell I bought 8 ish years ago from evike and I had hundreds of dollars into that gun and I miss that gearbox shell. Are they available anywhere?
@@TheAirsoftTech I'm running same 8 tooth DSG, M165 with 229 mm(6,01) barrel and I get more energy than you with M190. It's normal to have air seal issues with such high rps but your setup currently is definitely not airtight.
wyz2285 I’m using a wide bore barrel and a shorter barrel; just measured it, it’s actually 180mm. You’re going to have a higher FPS with the longer and tighter barrel, not as much joule creep.

I wish you showed us on the P90. My first attempt it would fire once in semi, then have to pull auto to make it work again. I adjusted Warfet settings and now it seems to work marginally, but not too well. The precock is inconsistent. Active braking required or it doubles every shot. 30% precock w/ AB seems the only setting that kinda works. Seems like it could be the motor just isn’t strong enough (demagnetized slightly?), or the spring isn’t strong enough (but I’m already pushing indoor FPS limit), or the piston isn’t the right weight. You mentioned the cutoff lever. Any help more complex and “expert” level builds as you said it required would be much appreciated. Love the channel. Thanks!
☺😊😀😁😂5 Smile's how is your replacement on parts when some little part bust up or wears out??? as i noticed some are extremely difficult to find or get 😠this time there stuff up mother fn selection switch cr@$ go to order the gen 9 gearbox switch parts but all out at current would not expect otherwise and No selection switch plate plug if you strip out the nylon one how to make a triple fortune don't have a few case parts 😠 going to loss it!!!, so had a tight fit pressed and she jammed how to stuff $25 worth and 2 months in 5 seconds 'O' mother sand paper so drilled out as not wanting to damage the metal case so i got the one in the blaster and no pin for the selection switch dial don't stuff this up!!!!!! while your waiting for the bolt to tie the selection switch in since i got the one with a 5mm extra case in the box and the only micro screw at 1.8mm which i can't get anywhere??????and no other switch will fit it??????WTF.😬.

All shimmed as best as I can and I'm pretty confident that it's done right but it seems to lock up inside the gearbox. I'm using an 11.1v titan battery. Any thoughts?
Why would he? There are field limits at every [legitimate] airsoft event. These can vary slightly by region and greatly by country. This is airSOFT; if you want 900 FPS for plinking in the backyard, buy a real air gun.

there's really no DSG gearbox basically take apart your gun you have now and order some DSG gears,some shims and if you want a gate titan along with some other stuff. don't build a dsg if you're new to airsoft
This is 3 months old and i'm sure you've already figured it out, yes but no krytacs are somewhat hard to work with I have a krytac mk2 receiver and it was pretty hard to get a polarstar fusion engine to actually align and fit let alone buy magazines that actually lock in place but anyways enjoy your airsoft experience
So i have a g&g firehawk, been using it for like 12 months now, super happy with it. Still works amazing. But in sweden we have CQB at 275 FPS with .28g So i was gona ask, my plans for upgrade for my littel cqb baby. shs 12:1 shs high torque piston with steel teeth and i was gona put in aster v2 mosfet as i got told i need Active breaking as i dont get overspin. Same with new nozzle, cylinder head, piston head. Do i need anything more?

16:1 8-tooth dsg with a M190 spring, whats the lowest TPA motor would you recommend? I run a 22TPA but have a 16TPA motor available too.
A little in depth on motors wouldn't be bad I think. Seems kind of a make or break.

You're having Tappet PME. 300 FPS with 0,28 with M190 is low. I get 310 FPS with 0,3 on a M165 , I can get to your power level with a M150.

range and consistency are usually fixed with a better bucking more than a new hopup/barrel

Should have mentioned, P90 M-Trigger, 18:1 gears, 18k motor (28tpa?), ~m130 spring w/ rear spacer ->325fps/38 rps.

The 14.55:1 is a 9 tooth sector gear. The 14.09:1 is the 8 tooth. Hope this helps 10 months later 😅

So i have a g&g firehawk, been using it for like 12 months now, super happy with it.
Still works amazing.
But in sweden we have CQB at 275 FPS with .28g
So i was gona ask, my plans for upgrade for my littel cqb baby.
shs 12:1
shs high torque
piston with steel teeth
and i was gona put in aster v2 mosfet as i got told i need Active breaking as i dont get overspin.
Same with new nozzle, cylinder head, piston head.
Do i need anything more?
