This song perfectly explains the dilemma a person is facing when he doesn't wants his loved one to go neither physically nor from his heart. He ask convinces the other person to sit peacefully and with him as if she leaves he will be devasted . He also explains that when she leaves his soul ,his life also leaves with her.
But , then he understands ,that she will leave and makes peace with her decision ,and asks her to sit peacefully and let him enjoy those few moments he has got with her.
He then again asks to stay for one last time that ,who knows what will happen tomorrow ,just stay here with me.
This is the most common feeling we all experience in atleast once in life. Love is a very simple feeling and songs like this make it simpler .that no matter what, we want our special person with us ,every single time,in every situation.

"Waqt ki ked me zindegi he magar " The line something similar..she is a professor and i am central govt employee only because of my job was not superior or same level her family put pressurized her to left me... And she left me without any regret... And after one month she was in a relationship with her classmate.. I got shocked how can a girl after 8 years did this... I beg her do something to stay with me and covince her parents but she disrespected me... But after that i understand no one is superior than self respect...
