It’s raining here in Calcutta - and this song is hitting me hard, if anyone like this comment it will remind me to comeback here and listen it again.
A long while ago once I was driving with my partner and this song was playing in the background. We drove for almost an hour with this song on the loop. I stole a few glances at her while driving. Those polaroids whenever they fleet past my mind while she's not around, it's as if the music is still there, as if the music has binded with the pigment of those imageries in my head.

Papon is going to end up in a league of his own and I am saying this as a seasoned Jagjit fan of 20 years and having listened to ghazal stalwarts of all eras and countries.
He is not a composer, his urdu accent is not immaculate but all these things becomes secondary when I listen to him.
I hope he gets the right guidance and chooses good ghazals and compositions.
