the real reason behind these typs of event's is that you feel good if you have one of the very obscurly randomly picked decks that is legal already build.
Not going to lie I build Ninja a while ago for this very reason. There is no way they will hit Ninja for the weird events so I now have a catch all deck that took less than a 1000 gems to make.

I’ve played Abyss Actor more than any other deck in the game and I’ve never seen another player.
Meanwhile, MBT hops into the new event and immediately gets a mirror match.

post support is just win more by having more negates on board but over half of it are generic bosses with a random monster of your archtype chilling there.
He pilots it like shit but still wins lol Abyss actors are actually crazy good once you learn their lines.

The four decks I have found to be basically immune to hits for festivals (excluding extra deck species festivals) are BE-WD, DM, Myutant, and Suship.
I used Gate Guardian in this festival and people paused for like 2 minutes after I negated their 2nd spell/trap.
When Joseph said, every Floo card is banned, my first immediate thought was, yeah like current Ranked Floo.
Ya know I was just vibing with the video until about 10:45 mark where I immediately recognized a fighting game theme. Great theme love jazzy nyc just shook me to hear fighting game music while Yu-Gi-Oh combos are happening.

i love this month's events cause i just get to play abyss actors twice (+ ghoti)
Funnily enough, the only reason I gave this archetype a shot was because of having a royal rare copy of rehearsal. Ended up having some fun with it here and there
The clips keep cutting before it says whether the opponent surrendered or disconnected.
My legend event deck was Speedroid. They’re happy that there is no Maxx C.
funnily enough with the new support out and legal I had a lot of success with the hero/neospacians going for shining neos wingman or cosmo neos
why MBT Droped his brain in the bin on this video, as a Abyss actor duelist I enjoy his videos because he knows a lot of the deck and the combo variants but on this video he did some crazy stupid plays my man was on crack
love that gnomaterial made an appearance. It's not a good card but its not a bad one so it being useful is always funny to me
I know the HERO deck plays way different than usual in this event, but I really enjoyed the gameplay of the HERO deck enabled by this plus the new Flame Wingman. Got me all the gems quick, without having to play Plasma control
Fur Hire is playable in this event and actually really good, 1 beat and any name that can special summon is full combo, you can also dodge imperm and veiler too with rookie

My literal first reaction to this event was to check if hero’s were playable, seeing they weren’t, and playing the whole thing with abyss actor instead .
I played neo-spacians this whole event. It was a blast. Thank you Konami for finally adding edgy flame wingman.

Seeing that Cyber Dragon was barely hit in this event (only lost Infinity, Clockwork, and Emergency, none of which are really required) made me quite pleased

I remember striking out with a purple haired girl that always wore a cat tail back in community college. She was not the only one dressing like that around school and I wasn't even a theatre kid.

I really should've played this event more, especially since I fell for the hype and bought 3 copies of the Ninja structure deck on release

I'm surprised my ddd deck went undefeated, won every match up until I got the title, which is kinda sad, because most of my opponents were on the loaner hero deck or dm, most of them just can't beat a machinex (without raigeki or darkhole) or siegfried, also it is baffling how many people don't know that gilgamesh floats. Even my more bricky hands (and trust me, it can brick hard) were capable of dealing with most decks.
I'm also undefeated with D/D/D, I only need to play a few more games for the title. I'm baffled that they keep leaving this deck at near full power and banning most of the handtraps in every anthology event.
@@demander599they limited gryphon, which admittedly hurts a lot, you can search it very easily, but you would rather use your search power somewhere else and start with it in hand already, but other than that, with veiler as your only reliable handtrap since imperm is limited too, ddd can go farther than any deck in this event... assuming you don't brick.

This is one of the few event in which I can sate myself with Red-Eyes FTK.

I played 40 card skull servant lightsworn with darkholes and stuff that helps go 2nd. it was probably the easiest event since they don't have negates and pops thanks to restrictions king 10k beatdown was perfect

I ended up using Kozmo for the event, I have no idea why, but the entire deck was legal
This is the only event where I have topped all 3 because Nordic Aesir is still pretty good in these events. I will say tho that the Elemental Heroes this time around have been significantly stronger against my deck than the previous one.
I dont know why you would ever play Gnomaterial ... but I respect the fuck out of everyone who ever did :D

I'm not gonna lie... The amount of DCs I had with people when I played Abyss Actor was hilarious, like my guy... My deck ain't that strong, I bricked one hand and just played like I had something up my sleeve... Two comic reliefs in hand and no low scale kinda brick so I faked it, ended up getting super star thanks to Dramatic story and my opponent just straight up DC'd... Funny as hell.

Ddd going 1st is significantly much worse to play against engine vs engine abyss actor have to rely on dark hole and super poly to break the board, even then if you did dark hole the field gilgamesh will float into another bosses into full field again
Abyss Actor is basically a representation of all the Arc-V decks if you think about it

Legend Anthology is probably my most hated format in the events, I saw more regular decks than I did Synchro decks and it banned all my decks that are even able to fight against them.
Eventually I just quit and brought the Ninja structure to be able to play the game
Brought the Ninja deck on released because I knew it would be unhit for the weird events.
I think this video was kinda boring. Would have been better if you had subway surfer at the bottom tbh
