GW2 - Crafting my 1st and 10th Legendary at the same time!

I have been playing Guild Wars 2 for a little over four years holding out some hope that one day a precursor drop would happen, but RNG doesn't love me, and so it never happened.
Over these years I had accumulated a good amount of gold from just playing the game, so four months ago I decided to take matters into my own hands!
I was finally going to craft my first Legendary by buying my precursor off the trading post. But, I quickly realized that wouldn't be enough for me... I needed more!
Since I had started playing new Legendary items had been added. There was Legendary Armor, Legendary Backpieces, and even a Legendary Trinket!
With that I envisioned that it was not only time to craft my first Legendary Weapon, It was in fact time I crafted a full set of Legendaries!
I then set out to make this dream a reality! This video shows my journey...
Things to note:
1. I had completed a lot of vital steps in the Legendary crafting before I decided I was going to make a video about it so some important milestones were unfortunately left out.
2. The Mystic Forging seen in the video was done out of order because I wasn't thinking about it when I did it. That's why my inventory may look weird depending on where you are in the video. Oh well.

This whole journey took so much time! Between doing all the Living World Season 3 content in order to get crafting Aurora. To having to do so many matches of Ranked PvP on my Herald and Reaper in order to craft The Ascension. Each night I would spend doing at least a single map towards World Completion so that I would be able to craft The Bifrost and The Juggernaut. Then there was the 5 months spend in WvW Zerg running around with my Herald, Weaver and Scourge for participation so that I could get the WvW tickets that I would need for my WvW Legendary Armor, the Triumphant Hero's Armor.
I'll tell you what, the journey was a good time investment, but I would do it again. GW2 Crafting is a rush when it's Legendary!

If you enjoy WvW, its easy otherwise its hard. Tbh, I recently enjoy WvW more than open world PvE
cap a camp every 10 min, watch netflix in the meantime.

First legendary was legend raid armor and i slowly made progress and its one of the easiest and cheapest to make

Thanks! Yeah it was a solid 22 weeks of WvW at about 20 hours a week to get max tickets for each week (365 is the max you can get per week)

I came to YT to see if anyone had made more than 1 at the same time as I am quite a ways through making 14 legendary weapons. 13 gen 1 and HOPE. Would have been 15 but had to make Bifrost for my main 😂 awesome job on this! Very well done!!

Yeah, been working on it. Towards the end of the video I'm not skill clicking anymore. It definitely took a little while to get used to. Skill clicking is just the way I learned to play the game and it has worked for me fairly well.
I dont understand the term "Skill clicking". Can someone pls light me up?
Clicking the skill button with the mouse pointer. It is significantly slower than directly clicking the related keys on the keyboard with your finger.
@@christbeasly1475 You basically press the skill with your mouse. Makes everything you do way way slower and more clunky. On top of that incapable of playing pvp probably.
Like you dont see any good Dota or Leauge players that use there mouse to press any skills LOL
I think we're all missing the most impressive part. Symbolite did all this by clicking on each skill with the mouse button (It looks like).

I teared up when I made my medi legendary armor because I now have at least one of every legendary in the game. All three sets all og legendary weapons and up to patch new legendary weapons. So many hours and yes I had a shit tone of help from good friends. Mapping shenanigans and so on. It feels so good nomatter what number you're on. Just know the journey is worth it. Yes it takes time but the feeling is calming and heart warming. But I still ALWAYS feel like one day anet will troll me and when I put in the final pieces I'll get something else out of the mystic toilet 😂 keep up the good work man!
To note. I got the raid armor. So technically I'm not done because I don't have the wvw legendary armor. I do have the back piece though. I just don't have time to raid with guilds due to a recent job transfer. Going to be taking a year break from the game. Only going on to do daily and the occasional goof off in dungeons and goof raid.

You, my friend... you are my new God. I'll even make a new religion called Symbolitesim. We will believe in hard grinding even 'till the end of days to get our legendaries, because that's the way our lord reached the glory.
Jokes apart, you actually just became my whole inspiration to finally craft my very first legendary after 4 and a half years playing. The game for me was only grinding and farming. I have found now the inspiration needed to aim for a legendary, I just said to myself "I don't need legends" and, truth be told, I do not; but I just want to craft at least one. Thenk you for such inspiring video, more like this are needed.

For me, Legendaries aren't worth the cost, time and effort - and I never _ever_ will play fucking PvP in *any* MMO.

Thanks, now that I have them I can honestly say the weapons are not worth it if you play a lot of different builds because of the sigil swapping issue. If you have the gold to buy that expensive tool that can rip sigils out without destroying them then I guess you'd be fine. The armor/back/earring legendaries however are totally worth it and I'm looking into building another set of armor for my light armored toons.

Glorious Xoyas been playing for a little over 4 years so I had some wealth built up for starters. Still took about 5 months to accomplish this with all the time gates though.

A complete leggy armour set is regarded as 1 set legendary armour. You can say six leggy pieces as 6 legendaries. Also. The cost of a set come down to bout 2.2k Gold. So its approximately equal to crafting a Gen 2 leggy.
Amit Roy Tbh, for me crafting 6 Gen 2 legendaries would have been quicker than the wvw full set of armor. The cost of the wvw armor is not the value of it but the time spent. I spent about 20 hours a week for 22 weeks straight to get that armor.

Only the ability to change stats and swap runes on the fly, in short convenience.

Played Beta. Play from day 1. Had account hacked like 11,000 other Anet did nothing. Started again. Played 2 years. Friend finally joined for 2 months. Showed him content. He got 2x Legionaries. Kept grinding. Thought Fuck This. RNG bullshit. Fuck grinding now I have done my time. One of the best games ever but zero rewards for sticking with the game except some skins.
