I had this verse come to mind yesterday and it is very important, as I lost my job two years ago during the pandemic. The good news of restoration is necessary for me, because I find it hard to believe that will happen. Needing hope for the future!

I loosen myself from my time and years go to waste, binding myself, my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquintances, opponents and the body of Christ not to waste any time and years in one's life, while I bind myself not being unequally yoked and have any common share with those who waste time and years, binding myself to restoration of the lost years, in accordance with joel 2:25, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah!

Brother, thank you for this teaching. But, your words beg a good question. If Joel 2:25 was written specifically for ancient Israel and if we believe that Jeremiah 29:11 is not a restoration promise for Christians but only for ancient Israel, then how do we Christians not account Joel 2:25 as prosperity gospel for we in the New Testament? I believe this to be a reasonable arguement that I struggle with. The Holy Spirit is telling me that like Jeremiah 29:11, He never intended Joel 2:25 as a promise for the New Testament Christians. Thanks and may God bless you.
