- Today we are going to start in Joel 2:25 (NKJV), “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, The crawling locust, The consuming locust, And the chewing locust. My army I sent among you.” There are four types of ways the curse has stolen from us. This passage is a prophesy of what happened when Christ came. Christ broke the curse, but then He didn't just stop there. He promises to restore what the curse steals, what Satan steals, the years stolen from you. And so He identifies each of the four. They represent your effort/time, your relationships, your money, and your fruit. You worked for years and years and it was all wasted. You were married to the wrong man, he was abusive, he didn't love you, 10 years, and you look at the time, ugh, what a waste. You made that investment; the money vanished like thin air. You raised your children to love the Lord, but they are running to the world.
Too many Christians have seen theft in their lives. The curse gave Satan access to steal, kill and destroy. But we must realize he has that access no more. God says, “I will restore the years." The years of investing in the wrong job only to have the doors close, you went to a church that didn't tell you about the Holy Spirit and the power, your parents abandoned you and stole your childhood. You thought those years were just gone, but today you are going to find out that God is restoring those years. That mistake you made and the years spent in prison, those years as a young girl abused and molested repeatedly, building a business with a partner only to have them steal all that you worked for, that dead beat man that won't pay child support. God says to you today, "I will restore those years, the years where the curse bled into your life, get ready for restoration!”

Restoration only comes when you fully submit to the will of God and repent and forsake all sinful acts. God will not answer selfish prayers but only prayers that are according to his will.

Thank you for your honesty. I too hit the "perfect storm". Every area in my life was stolen. Some I had a part in. Others, like you, I was the victim. When it gets down to it the only thing that matter's is that God didn't. Not his fault. Regardless i toó have become weary of those who believe that my "bad luck" will rub off on them they Cant even pray. A Job experience has only one explanation. Seven years ago I came under a heavy spiritual attack. I lost my job, I lost my friends, I lost my church, and I lost a woman that I loved very much and I wanted to marry her. I didn't do anything wrong. I was actually very involved in the church. It was just a supernatural attack similar to what happened to job. On that time I was very depressed and I heard many sermons like this one about restoration. I put all Bible verses in my walls. I confessed every day that God would restore what the enemy stole. I read many books about prayer, Spiritual warfare and faith. It has been seven years and nothing was restored. It actually got worst. I've applied for more than 5,000 jobs in the last 5 years. I have two masters degree and I am fluent in five languages. It wouldn't be a problem to get a job but somehow I don't get any response in my applications even if I had my resume evaluated by many specialists. The worst part in going through this it is to see the worst in people, specially Christians. Unemployment is the leprosy of our times. You tell someone in a church that you are unemployed and they never talk to you again. I miss going to church. I recently wrote to a pastor that is good friends with a CEO of a big company in my area. I was asking for help to get a job but that pastor never replied. I am still waiting for the restoration. I still dream with the woman I lost. I still love her. I really wish God was romantic.

airplane800 I heard God or the Holy Ghost spoke to me audibly before I became a Christian, He said to me 'the Lord will restore you' later about less than 2 weeks, He spoke audibly to me again, 'be strong in the Lord'! I heard him twice the moment I woke up in the morning, I was in awe about this matter even until today! Be encouraged !
By the authority given through the name of Jesus I claim and believe with you restoration in your life. Gods word is true and real and his word and promises will not return to him void. I have been given words of what I will doing greatly for the Lord. I believe the enemy is threaten by how the Lord will be using you and I in the very near future. It is a deep work that is happening. I see it also for you as I understand what is happening with you.
What the enemy meant for harm, but God meant it for good.
You will see beyond what others can see and know what spirit they are walking in. Your understanding & discernment in people & in churches, even business will be great now! You are increasing in spiritual awareness.

I'm always Leary of sermons like this. I don't know if this is what he means, but it sounds as if he's teaching you can do what you want and not suffer punishment or God's wrath or his chastening as it speaks of in:

so I can go on and on and on about this life of Christianity is suffering and doing this era it's been said that there have been more Christians martyred in our generation than in the history of the world.
No offense, but I had to shut it down. Because the premise and the foundation that he set it up on is wrong.

Now, am I saying that there isn't a period of reaping in the future? No.
But the stronger part of our Christianity is in that it comes along with suffering. We will reap a human materially bountiful life if God chooses. if he chooses not, then we won't...here that is,

However, the purpose of this life is to have our spirit grown so that we can be ready to face the Lord Jesus Christ and to reign with him in his kingdom...4-ever because:

There seems to be a misunderstanding of the Scriptures in this teaching: the LAW (aka the commandments, judgments , and statutes described in the Torah) HAS NOT BEEN DONE AWAY WITH as he implies. Yeshua's sacrifice on the Cross has eliminated the need to bring animal sacrifices (Hebrews 10:4-10) but has NOT cancelled the LAW (Matthew 5:17-20).
When someone breaks ANYTHING from the Torah, he/she is in SIN (1 John 3:4). Breaking the Law in even one point means breaking it all (James 2:10), and this automatically brings on the curses described in Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28.
So how do we clean ourselves of the sins we have committed knowingly and unknowingly? I am glad you asked!! We must REPENT IMMEDIATELY, ask forgiveness of the Father for what we have done, and put that sin under the Holy Blood of Yeshua. REPENTING MEANS WE DO NOT KNOWINGLY COMMIT THAT SIN EVER AGAIN!!!! If someone thinks they can keep committing sins and repent repeatedly for it, because Yeshua's has become a sin for us, please read Hebrews 10:26-31.
THE ENTIRE CHRISTENDOM IS IN APOSTASY!!! The changes started in the 4th century by emperor Constantine, who changed the Biblical Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday (Constantine was a Sun worshiper until a couple of weeks before his death), replaced the Feasts of the LORD (Leviticus 23) with Christmas (formerly known as Saturnalia) and Easter (the Spring rites of Ishtar/Ashtoreth/Diana), and martyred all Christians that opposed the changes. Most Christians have no idea what has been done to them, because the organized Church does not disclose these facts. But you can discover it by doing some research online. The Catholic Church openly acknowledges what they did, and claim they have the right to do it, despite the specific instructions to the contrary which were stated in Deuteronomy 4:2 and Deuteronomy 12:29-32.

One CANNOT expect to be in sin and enjoy God's blessings!!! Leviticus 26 and Deuteronomy 28 are ALWAYS in action!!! To see that this is the truth it is enough to look at the state of the Islamic world (who is the most cursed because the teachings of the Quran are OPPOSITE to the teachings of the Torah!!!) and to the state of the Jewish state (the Jews follow the Torah most closely !!!). God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34, Romans 2:11-16). Therefore one MUST RESPECT THE LAW IF THEY WANT TO ENJOY GOD"S BLESSING!!!

Noah build the Ark according to God's instructions and preached righteousness for more than 100 years before God destroyed the world through a flood. Righteousness is first defined in Deuteronomy:

If the Law does not exist anymore, neither does "sin". Apostle John in 1 John 3:4 defined "sin" in as "the transgression of the Law". You CANNOT use Yeshua's sacrifice at the cross to live as heathen!!! You use Yeshua's sacrifice to wash you of the consequences of your sin when you sincerely repent, should you sin after you accepted the Messiah. Here is what Paul said, which is totally misinterpreted:
Galatians 3:24-26 King James Version (KJV)
24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.
26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.
This means that the Law teaches us what sin is, and should we make mistakes, Yeshua saves us from it. To know that this is the correct interpretation look at these verses:
Romans 3:31
Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
Galatians 3:17'
And this I say, that the covenant, that was confirmed before of God in Christ, the law, which was four hundred and thirty years after, cannot disannul, that it should make the promise of none effect.
Romans 6:1-2
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2 God forbid.
Look at it this example: in every city there are laws regarding parking. Should you break them, you get a ticket. Let's say there are so many unpaid parking tickets gathered by people, that nobody can pay it anymore. One person that never broke those laws offers to pay the debt of everyone else. Are the parking laws made void through that payment??? Of course not!! Should you break it again, you will again be fined for it!!! It is EXACTLY the same principle with God's Law!!!
How do we know that this is the case? Look at how the Apostles lived their lives after Yeshua ascended to Heaven. They walked with Yeshua and learned first hand how to do things right. In the Book of Acts it is described that all Apostles celebrated the Feasts:
Acts 2: they are in Jerusalem, according to the Law, to celebrate
Shavuot, which is the day the the Holy Spirit was given to Yeshua's disciples
Acts 10:14 shows Peter's dedication to eating clean foods according to the Law
Acts 13, 17 and 18 we see that the Apostles keep and teach on the Sabbath
Acts18:21 Paul is stating "he must by all means keep the upcoming
feast in Jerusalem'
Acts 20:16 Paul is hurrying to get to Jerusalem for the Feast of
Shavuot (which in Christianity is known as Pentecost)
Acts 21:20-24 Paul keeps the Nazarite vow and also pays the charges
attached to it for 4 other men. This is a voluntary vow and quite expensive for even one person, much more for 4 more!! It is part of the Law, and it is described in Numbers 6:1-21
Acts 24:14 Paul states that he worships God the Father, and believes
in the Law and the prophets
In 1 Corinthians 5 Paul instructs the church in Corinth (which was a
gentile church) to observe Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread:
1 Corinthians 5:6-8
6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven
leaveneth the whole lump?
7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye
are unleavened. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us:
8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with
the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.'
In 1 Peter 1:16 Peter instruct Yeshua's followers to be holy, quoting
Leviticus 11:44, 19:2, 20:26. In these passages being holy is described as keeping the Sabbaths, the Feasts day and observing the dietary laws. Sorry for your ham and bacon sandwiches! :)
According to prophet Jeremiah 31:31 God's Law should now be written in
our hearts. Paul states in Romans 8:3-4 that God gave us His Son in flesh to pay for our sins and He sent us the Holy Spirit to empower us
to keep the Law, which we are unable to do by only the flesh. This is
EXACTLY what the prophet Ezekiel said in Ezekiel 36:26-27.
There would be no reason for the Apostles to teach God's Law with the
Sabbaths, Feast days and dietary instructions if they were not still valid after Christ's Resurrection. Freedom from the Law does not mean
we do not keep it: t means we have now the Holy Spirit empowering us
to keep it, so it is easy to do so, and the curses attached to not keeping it will not affect us. It means we can now go to heaven and be with our Father, which most Christians pray to every day, but do not think that they must also obey His rules in order to get there!!
