Maybe it's a really powerful gun. Ridiculously powerful guns certainly aren't outside the realm of possibility for anime. I've seen the likes of Outlaw Star, and Final Fantasy: Unlimited.

@@verakoo6187 That's a good point. And if you think about it, a gun, just like an android, is a piece of technology. So if a humanoid machine is capable of being made that powerful, then there's no reason why a gun using that same technology wouldn't be capable of the same.
The same way Goku needed the Kamehameha to concentrate his ki and make a ki wave, some characters may us guns to help them concentrate the ki instead. Not everyone is a warrior

@@Peasham I can understand that when it comes to franchises one doesn't like, especially as an excuse to not give said anime a chance because of pettiness. But if you do like it, then that makes even less sense that you wouldn't be eager to explore everything it has to offer. Especially when it's all one story, as opposed to something like Yu-Gi-Oh! that consists of several smaller stories.
Crazy how fast everyone switched up and appreciated this series the second Toriyama passed. Shoutout to everyone who’s been excited since day 1! We’re gonna enjoy this & the content it will provide for all of our favorite db games.

Even when compared to Z or GT, it’s art style leans closer to that of the recent movie. It’s clear the art style from the film was well received so they decided to continue in that direction. Why did they not continue the super series, they already have the whole story from manga and it's really good.
I think they want to wait for either the manga to finish so that super 2 doesn't have much filler which is not likely, or they're waiting to get a big budget so that they could really make that whole thing glorious

This looks good. I never knew until he passed that Toriyama never watched Z in full and felt shame receiving awards for it. He shouldn't, but with that knowledge I think Daima (and Dragon Ball) is actually closer to who Akira was as a person. Much more childlike and fantasy adventure seeking than some of Z's darkest arcs would suggest. Rest peacefully 🕊️🐉🟠

This year gave us Star Wars: Acolyte, Madame Web, Damsel, Argylle, Atlas, Rebel Moon: The Scargiver. So I wouldn't start jumping around like a cheerleader just yet. The year has given us more cr*p than diarrhoea.
IMO, thinks looks awesome. I know, kid versions of shows usually don't work but I like the idea of this series returning to it's fun roots.

@@Peasham he designed some characters and was the showrunner and producer of Super. He's also the one that wrote the Super manga until his passing and the Broly and Super Hero movies. Basically everything after ToP is 100% his work.

He was the showrunner and producer of Super, he wrote the movies (the director of Broly even said Toriyama wrote a 4 hour script) and he literally wrote the manga, because not only Toyotaro said he only does the art and gives some input, but because he's credited as such in the chapter covers.
I use to have dreams as a kid flying through the air shooting beams out of hands thanks to Dragon ball Z. RIP Akira Toriyama.
