Can you give me any tips for speeding spelunky? I know all the tricks in the book including hyperspeed. I seem to be stuck at a sub of 3. Is it the seeds or is their someway I can go faster?

Sorry I meant to reply to this sooner but I ended up getting a little swamped by work and it slipped my mind.
In general the unsatisfying short answer is mostly just practice and needing good level seeds but in terms of specifics there are a few things I can think of that can help hit sub 3 runs more consistently.
1: Learn a fast Olmec strategy. The fastest strategies can save up to 15 seconds over normal play, which can be enough to push a lot of decent runs into sub 3 territory. 4 bomb Olmec is currently the fastest strategy without bomb paste, although it can be a bit difficult to learn. 3 bomb and 2 bomb are good to know generally as safer strats and back-ups if you are down a couple bombs. A good example of 4 bomb is in my 2:29 any% run.
2: Consider teleporter play. The teleporter is a lot harder to use than the mattock, but recently it's become respected as an any% WR viable alternative. Learning how to utilize it properly will increase the number of any% viable runs as you won't have to grind for jetpack mattock every run. An added benefit of the teleporter is that it is particularly good with cape increasing your options further. There are a few annoying bugs to keep in mind though: teleporting while on the ground with the jetpack will prevent you from flying for a brief moment, and the teleporter safety +3 rule doesn't round you to whole positions, making it sometimes clip you into walls when it shouldn't.
3: Learn in depth level gen. If you are a frequent player I assume you already are pretty good at recognizing and following level path tiles. However it's also important to take a good look at some off path level generation too. Many off path rooms will often frequently spawn holes in the ground which can be used as shortcuts. It's also important to note which level tiles spawn with a one tile thick floor, as that will be your best option to drop down into when you have a mattock. Also as a quick tip, the ice caves exit tile tends to spawn without a lot of upper blocks.
4: Utilize community tools. The spelunky speedrun community discord is a great place to discuss strategies and learn new things. It also has download links to many community tools, such a cheat tables and save loaders which are great for practice.
5: Play a ton of low%. Might not be the best for everybody, but for me personally playing low% super frequently helped me refine my movement a ton and learn hitboxes better. Even if you are really confident in your movement, there is always more room for micro-optimizations. Despite playing this game a ton, I still find myself learning and improving movement in minor ways.
Hopefully some of these tips end up helping. If you have some more specific questions feel free to ask me or the speedrunning community discord. Good luck on your sub 3!
