I'm late to the video because of mother's day lunch but I hope you are in better spirits today I know it's been ruff lately please keep making videos and I give you some of my strength to Thu this time of grief 💙😿💙😿💙
Ça doit être très bon. J’ai déjà goûté bobun avec ma femme 👩🏽 Joy Humb. C’était succulent. T’es très belle j’adore 🥰 Reina.
The Japanese ramen looks very delicious i wish I could try one
After your scare with your vocal chords and other issues earlier this year I am glad to see you more upbeat. Hope things are doing better for you and your loved ones! Great video and loved seeing the sampling of other ramen options I didn't know about.
Loved all the selections of different food that convenience stores had in Japan. They are actually convenient when you are unable to sit down and eat at a restaurant
This video put me in a fit of konbini jealousy! If only U.S. 7-11 stores carried ramen like this I’d actually shop there…
I agree! We have a 7-11 in a shopping area surrounded by Japanese style restaurants where I live and I keep wishing they would be the Japanese style 7-11. I think in California it would be totally sustainable to have Japanese style 7-11. They would be very popular!
@@kristinwight8465 omg yes
Here in Hawaii, just about every 7-11 has a small selection of ramen and udon. Good stuff, too :)
I want to learn Japanese with this beautiful teacher.
In Japanese words can be used either as a singular or as a plural. I was so jealous of the tan-tan mein one of my favorite spices cooking at home is the Sesame chili oil.
My children all love using a touch of sesame seed oil into instant Ramen it makes it tastes much better.
That cold ramen somewhat reminds me of korean cold noodle. The noodles are different and the korean one has much more soup, but a lot of the toppings and things that go in the soup sound the same. It's great for summer and we put watermelon and sesame oil in it.
I came here to watch pair of meat buns.
The cold "ramen" dish sounds like a pasta salad from the US. Very vinegary and has vegetables or egg in it.
but 100x better lol
@@Xayr oh yeah most definitely. Pasta salad is far to bland. This looks way better.
"There are no napkins, AGAIN?!?" with soup dripping down your chin is like 99% my style.
I am terrible at putting sustenance into my me.
Tonkotsu is definitely my favorite. Although I don't get to have it very often as fresh hand made ramen is like $15 a bowl where I live. Definitely my favorite treat though.
Tonkotsu is my favourite!! Thank you for the pronounciation lesson.. I was definitely saying it the same way as tonkatsu (oops) which I also love.
it's good to see you happy and smiling again, my friend. wish your mom a happy mother's day for me, please thank you.
I love all ramen but spicy miso is my favorite (the spicier the better). I'm so excited for the next Furusato Festival at Tokyo Dome, hundreds of folks from across japan (all 47 prefectures) showcase their best dishes with two lanes dedicated to ramen. Ohh and ikura don, not ramen but one of my favorite food/snacks (I could crush a bowl of that right now).
Thank you again Reina. As usual, your videos make me happy... and often, hungry.
Can you do a video on how you do your hair. The short/long yet soft bangs, with the bun? I love it!
“Am I dumb?”
I ask myself that all the time. Especially when it comes to teaching my students singular and plural. 🤣
All that ramen variations looks delicious especially the cold one
conbini food is incredible. i’ve never had anything bad from any of them and they’re so affordable.
今日は〜Reina Scullyさんへ〜ラーメンは美味しいよなーラーメンの中で何が好きな味かな?日本食が好きですか?
Reina(レイナ)さんありがとう〜
You look gorgeous reina 😍😍❤❤🤗 and the ramen is so freaking good 😀🍥
Tonkotsu ramen , I love the stuff, and there a couple of great ramen restaurants in the GTA.
Addendum: good ramen restaurants in the context of never having been to Japan.
Tonkotsu is my favorite ramen but most places here don't serve it. Luckily there is one that specializes in it but it's expensive. The last time I went there was back in 2019. They have a black garlic oil version that is SOOOO good and the broth is SOOOO rich. Took it home one time and stuck it in the fridge and the broth was a block of geletin when it got cold.
Reina just over here flexing her access to quality ramen while us peasants are showing off our cup noodles.
I love tonkotsu ramen but if the option is there, the black garlic ramen is amazing too.
You’re so awesome!!! Forever a fan and I wish you contentment for years to come!!! ❤️❤️❤️
TonkOtsu is the absolute BEST!!!
Wonderful video. I wish we had 7 eleven that sold those here. Thanks for sharing
here's a comment for that algorithm
you're doing great, keep it up :)
yay another food video! ;_; i've been so busy that i missed it when it was released. so good. hope you're doing well!
New to your channel. I thought I knew all the great CZcamsrs making content in Japan. I was wrong. Great content, subbed. Thanks!
That is a great review of the ramens! Your descriptions are really good. I know exactly what you mean about certain tonkotsu ramens being really ‘porky’. There is one here in NYC where its so porky I couldn’t finish the bowl… and that is rare. I almost always finish every bowl but near the end i felt like I was eating ramen near a petting zoo! Great video and thanks for posting! 👍
Omg Reina is so cute and funny!!! 😘😍
There are Ippudo in Berkeley and San Francisco! When they opened it was impossible to into them. The lines were huge. Must have been around when they were crazy in Japan.
Combini ramen is great. My favorite is FamilyMart's Chashu Soy Sauce Ramen is my favorite. The broth is so rich and smooth. It actually ranks up there with some of the best soy sauce ramen I've had. The 7-11 tantanmen is also great.
our 7-11 in Hawaii has Hawaii Saimin, tonkotsu Ramen, Tantan Ramen, Beef Pho.
Dang-it Reina… it’s 12:22 am and I’m about to sleep… and now all I want is ramen. I tried some 7-11 ramen when I was there in 2019. I’ll have to try these next time I’m in Japan
I'ma go get some ramen today before work at the japanese marketplace. They got some bomb ass spicy pork ramen with the pork cheek
How are fast food and gas stations so much better in Japan than America. Reina you are so lucky. Sending your family hugs.
I'm glad you upload a video about convient store ramens. I would travel in Japan next month. Yey!
Everytime you eat conbini stuff I wish in my heart there were Japanese conbini in America. ToT
"Am I dumb???"🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Tonkutsu, don't even debate about it!
The first one Kinda reminds me of frozen ramen you can get in the US in the frozen aisle. Its usually pretty decent
コンビニのラーメン食べてみたくなりました😆🍜
いつもれいなさんのメイクが好きなのですが、おむねが盛れてて素敵です🥰!
メイクやファッションの動画もみたいです〜♡
Good job on the thumbnail. I couldn't help but to watch the video.
All Ramen is my favorite! But I think the best ramen I have ever had was in the Ramen yoko cho in Sapporo. thanks for making me hungry...Hey, didn't 7 11 have a Michelin star rated instant ramen? I think I bought some from them.
I miss eating hiyashi chukka! It's my favorite kombini food.
I swear I had "show all notifications" on, but w/e. Turned them on again. Love these tasting videos !
and when you say that "tamago" you sounded so cute
*Imagines Reina was fasting in preparation for this video to fit it all in* XD
Yes. I refer the Michelin star ⭐️Ramen in Japan.
Reina is super smart. 👍🏻
just watched youre pregnancy announcement and now this video makes sense because im so pregnant also😂
6:06 Best reaction ever! I can watch that on loop. 😂
日本語を話す際に英語とは違う考え方をよくするので、レイナさんが言おうとしていることを何となく理解できます。因みに最後の日本語は論文読んでるみたいな口調で草(Translation below)
I get what Reina's trying to say here; I usually think quite differently when I speak Japanese compared to English. BTW she nailed the Japanese, but definitely sounds like she's reading a scientific paper instead of making normal talk lol.
I've heard that the 7-Eleven in Japan is amazing when it comes to food, compared to the US.
They all sound and look delicious, I don't think I could've stopped eating the first one, your will is stronger than mine.
711 mini tacos are so gross
4:45 is a whole mood.
i think the plural is still ramen unless they are of different styles entirely... like having a bunch of salmon in one spot is fish but if we have 2 or more species of fish in one spot, it's fishes. but then again, it is a japanese word so... (also, i'm going by how we say ramen in korean which is the most similar in grammar, and we don't pluralize the word "ramyun" to in indicate more than 1. we just say # ramyun or a lot of ramyun)
My favorite ramen is jigoku tonkatsu! There's a pretty good place near where I live that actually makes it spicy enough for me.
You had me at ramen noodles 😋❣️❤️
I'm sorry to say that I have not had the opportunity to try any of these ramen dishes. This video made me quite envious. Also, hungry.
Woah mama! What a nice pair of Chop Sticks!
time stamps or it didn't happen .🙂
@@tanmaypanadi1414 19:30 just look at that beautiful pair. It’s not the regular pair from before.
Miso ramen is my fave esp Hokkaido miso ramen!
I can't wait until I can go to Japan.
Well now I know how to say Tonkotsu at my favorite ramen restaurant. Thank you!
You should make a video about how they make a the delicious food for 7/11 like a factory tour or something like that 👨🍳👩🍳
Seven & Holdings... Lawson's... I miss walking down to the corner and being able to buy good food...
Can you do a video teaching people to use chopsticks properly, please??? Thank you.
Love From Bangladesh ♥️
Spicy miso, shio or Tsukemen if I had to generalize my favorites. I do like Tantanmen because how close it is to Dan dan Noodles. It’s just not generally spicy enough by comparison to Dan Dan noodle.
We are eager to revisit and try these
I'm still a firm believer in that udon is the superior Japanese noddle dish.
Not gonna lie, the thumbnail was the reason why I came here.
Aahhh I miss being in Japan and going to 7-11 to get snacks like rice balls or ramen!
I love ramen Reina that looks good 😋🆒👍
Ramen is like milk, or hair, it doesn't have a plural. You need a unit (or whatever you call that in English) by which you can count it, in this case bowls
Funny, 7-11 corporation has all but disappeared here in Maine.
The ones that did exist, the last thing you’d do is eat anything there.
Definitely all about that Tonkotsu.
I ❤️ “No Napkin Reina”
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
🥰KARAMISO RAMEN🥰
I like tonkotsu, tonkotsu miso and spicy ramen. Love hiyashi-chuka too.
Dat thumbnail doe 🫠
The cold Ramen looks like a chef’s salad! Mmmm!
Wonder, have you ever seen Gluten Free Ramen?
400¥ is ₱200 in my country and is kinda same price with some Japanese restaurant here
Tonkotsu and Shoyu are my favorites. If I could, I would eat Ramen for every meal. But that's not exactly healthy.
I prefer having somen noodles instead of ramen noodles for the cold one
Omg...it's so dangerous watching this haha I'm eating, but somehow getting hungrier just watching you eat all these delicious looking ramen...I need to try that tantanmen...drooling just thinking about it.
Since summer is right around the corner what about a video on fireworks 🎆🎇🎆🎇
This made me so hungry, Japan food is so good.
"Heavy Heavy Ramen" is gonna be my soundcloud rapper name
I know what you are doing with that thumbnail... I'm just a weak weak willed person.
Seriously these will be considered "high quality" from where I'm from.
Hey there! I love ramen, though unfortunately I have to make it myself most of the time.. still delicious
They looked good. Will have to try them out. Not sure if 7 Eleven is in the US though.
My ranking:
Miso
Shoyu
Tonkotsu
Shio/salt
ramen is the singular and plural of ramen
I'm glad to see that you are well and healthy 💙💙
You can't lie to me, you also were "attracted" by the thumbnail 👀
Shhh
Yes she is very cute
lmao true
Damn so glad to see fellow people who likes 7/11
People of culture are gathered here for the ramen, wym?
Ramen is the correct plural since it's a loanword from Japanese which has no plural (like 'sushi')
Raman is singular, ramen is plural. . .
As a plural of ramen, would ramentachi work?
