Dear Michael, thank you so much for your generosity, it's thanks to kind people like yourself that the rest of us get to enjoy marvellous performances by legendary artists like Charles Pierce. He was an exceptional female impersonator. I am so fond of him beacause he was not not only very good at reproducing a star's persona, but he was also very funny. If I'm not mistaken, you are the person playing the piano in this show. Well done and thank you once again from the bottom of my heart!
Thank you Micheal for sharing this. I only got to see Charles live once -- so it's wonderful to see he lives on through the magic of video! What a talent!!
Thank you so much for uploading this video. I was fortunate enough to see him in an all gay version of “ALL ABOUT EVE” at the Longshoreman’s Hall in San Francisco. We all laughed so hard and had s inch a great time. I believe this was in the early 1970’s. I was able to go back stage and meet Charles. Such a delightful and kind soul. I remember him saying “When I take all my makeup off my head is the size of a pea !” I was just young gay man in my early twenties and I will never forget his performance
Ahhh the glory days when drag queens actually had an act! Fabulous. Not many star personas strong enough to sustain an act!
