In zone 9b. My geraniums overwintered beautifully. Blooms through the entire winter. I just wish they smelled better.
You need scented geraniums I love them.
Hi Laura , I have to say Thank you for teaching me all about gardening... I have learned so much from your videos that I have friends and family asking me for ideas... I can only find Red Geranium seeds at our local hardware store and like yourself I'm not a fan of Red in my garden, but great for gifts!

I just got a Cape Primrose! Hasn’t bloomed yet. English women have stated to fertilize with tomato fertilizer. Helps to give them a lot of blooms! Have a great day
Gorgeous plant that will bloom its little guts out for you. Eastern window, just like African violets. If you don't have that, then western window.

I love pelargoniums! Got some as a house warming gift at the end of 2020. I popped them by the front door. They've flowered almost non-stop ever since, and are still going strong over 2 years later.
May I ask what Zone you are in, Angela?
@@carlaephotography7096 I live in Christchurch, New Zealand. I think it is considered Zone 9a. Plus my pelargoniums are under an awning by the front door, receiving lots of sun.

I have the Maverick Orange and it is amazing. I get them from Veseys as I am in Canada. I love the orange as I am not a fan of pink or red geraniums. I would like to try the white along side the orange. I think that would be amazing. All of my geraniums germinated before I could get around to worrying about heat, lol. So it obviously is not really necessary.
Have you seen YELLOW geranium seeds? I am in Ontario Canada and have not seen any.

Mines is planted under the ground here in California zone 9 but it doesn’t flower, I deadheaded them but still no flowers

My seedlings started out great! Some are now turning reddish on their leaves? What have I done? Does anyone know? They are about 4 to 5 inches high thanks!
That’s expected for many geranium varieties. Don’t worry about it. :)
All the geraniums in our area 7b yellowed and died last summer. I think it got too hot. We lost an amazing geranium plant with white margins on the leaves. So sad.
