So beautiful. Lighting of the tree and family gathered with the full moon above...just brought tears to my eyes at Christmas time. Would have loved to see more of her home. It is wonderful.

As a native New Yorker, Christmas is magic. Wonderful to see all of the Park Avenue Christmas trees lit in the evening -- it is stunning and so festive -- so Barbara -- thanks for all of the work you do to make this happen! The townhouse is lovely but I am a huge fan of a real tree -- white pine -- and use the boughs and the tree trunk once the season is over for covering plants for the winter and the tree trunk is chopped up as logs for the fireplace. Thanks very much for this video and happy holidays everyone!

What I love about the holiday decorations is the color choices. Many of the pieces could be used year round yet they still evoke a holiday spirit. The dining room table setting is gorgeous. The scattering of orange (my favorite color) throughout the home gives everything a warm glow.

What a gorgeous woman and equally gorgeous home. The shared garden space is amazing. Her love of entertaining and family and friends is so heartwarming. And rice pudding was always my dads favorite. He liked raisins and nutmeg . He has been gone 6 years now and I haven't made it since. I think I will make some this weekend.

I lived in her neighborhood and I worked in Carnegie Hill. The corner bookstore is the best. One night my boyfriend and I ate at Donohue’s and after dinner a roach crawled across the table. I thought it was horrible. Anyway she’s lovely and merry Christmas!

Yes I thought it was odd that she made it sound like that Spode Christmas pattern was hard to find when I see it everywhere, especially in thrift and consignment shops, but also new in Homegoods. I have some pieces myself.
Had to watch this again as we enter the 'ber months, for inspiration. I adore her and her style is impeccable. Looking around our home and making plans, with the dogs, of course ;)
This has to be the coolest residence in NYC. I would prefer this to any of those multi million dollar mansions in the sky. The private neighborhood park is just the best part!
