Definitely one of the best. Everything he plays perfectly fits in the song. Great touch, fantastic groove, he doesn't add unnecessary stuff, so professional and talented. He is definitely in my top 5 favourite bass players.

I don’t believe people know how to maximize the use of the instrument.. he doesn’t over-play but he gets everything out of his instrument and completely adds to the song 💯without distracting or subtracting. He is the bomb!
It's amazing to see Matthew play and the notes and not clash with the harmony. In Kirk's style, it fits perfectly. It's lucky that Kirk gives this opening to practically play almost like solo bass, a fact that it's hard for us bassists to convince the music producer that the bass can go beyond the granted limit. In Christian churches we are in a phase where the bass has become very limited musically, thanks to Kirk the bass is still alive.
